These shoes were a little too loose around and a little short in the toe. I would have returned it for a larger size had the strap been adjustable.

Love these shoes - very comfortable. Bought them for a trip and wore them walking all over San Francisco (without socks) with no problems at all. I think the color name "silver sage" is misleading. They're pretty much a medium gray and in some lighting, could be considered taupe. I've had trouble with fixed straps in the past being too tight across my arch - these are not tight at all.

I love these! I'm a tall woman at 5'8". They are so comfortable! I love them with jeans instead of flip flops. Make you feel a little more female! But at age 56 still enough support and wonderful comfort to dash out of the house in!

This is a light weight shoe, but the cross straps would have bugged me because one was tighter than the other and had very little support.

I really love these shoes... they are super comfortable and I can wear them all day. I have plantar fasciitis and these have some decent arch support. I had some reservations buying these because of reviews that they slip off the feet, but I don't get that at all with these. I'm somewhere between a 10.5 and 11, and so I bought the 11s. There's plenty of room, but they don't fall off because of the straps that go on top of the foot. These were soft and flexible on the get-go, so no need to break them in.

SO bummed I have to return these! They are adorable and well made. BUT the straps aren't adjustable or elasticized. My feet are very narrow so the straps hovered above my feet. Since the straps aren't adjustable, it would have worked for them to make them a bit tighter and then have them elasticized near the shoe so that it could give to different sized feet. My other Ahnu shoes are like this so I'm bummed these ones aren't. Oh well. The other issue I had was that my big toes hit the end of the shoes. I never really run into this though so it may just be that the lack of strap support allowed my foot to slide too far forward. Overall these shoes are adorable and if your foot happens to be just the right fit with the straps, you're good to go.

Finally! I have been searching for several years for shoes with a closed toe and heel I can wear in the summer without getting blisters. These are working perfectly for my commute on public transportation and my office job in Washington DC. I plan to buy them in more colors.

I bought these in two colors for a trip to Italy. There will be a lot of walking. I've been wearing them on my morning walks to break them in and they are already super comfortable. Zappos is great with service and price. You couldn't ask for more from an online retailer.

The shoes were just too wide. I would have loved to have kept them, but since the width isn't adjustable, they just wouldn't work. The length was just barely long enough (maybe even a little short) so I knew that I couldn't down a half size to improve on the width.

Great shoe. They are comfortable and have pretty good support. I wear an 8.5 usually and ordered them in a size 8 because of previous reviews and the 8 fit well, so I recommend to go a 1/2 size smaller.

I bought these because they were cute, hoping for a good, supportive shoe for lots of walking this summer. They're okay. They are indeed adorable, kind of reminding me of ballet shoes. The pink is very pretty. But the functionality of the shoe is lacking. It made my feet sweat in 70-degree weather as soon as I put them on, they have very little support and they're quite wide. I kept them only because I didn't realize the problems until I had already worn them.

These are extremely cute and comfortable shoes. They are incredibly lightweight but with decent arch support. I have a super high instep so can have difficulty with straps on shoes cutting into my skin, but these are stretchy enough so that they do not. The sizing is a bit odd. I tried them on in a physical store, in which they had in stock two colors, one made of leather and one made of suede. The leather was gigantic in my usual size. They were floppy, weird-fitting, horrible toe cleavage. Half a size down was perfect. But in that same half size down the suede felt much snugger, and furthermore, the material at the bottom of the straps was kind of rough and rubbed immediately. I feel like I would have needed my usual size if I had gone with the suede ones (but I went with the leather since it was softer and seemed more flexible). So, basically, my experience was: the leather runs half a size large; suede is true to size. Though I suppose your mileage may vary! Oh, and one more detail: even in the correct size, there is a teeny bit of toe cleavage. It is minimal, not super noticeable, but definitely a factor, so if that is something that bugs you, you will probably want to skip these. Otherwise, I would wholeheartedly recommend them. If they were not so expensive, I would definitely be getting another color (or two).

First off, I own these shoes in two colors. And I'm about to order a third. And I can't rule out a fourth. I'm on my feet all day, and these shoes are exactly what I needed. They're supportive, adorable, and can work just as easily with a casual sundress as they do with jeans. I'm normally a size 10, and I ordered the 10 and 10.5, but the 10 fit perfectly. No break-in time required whatsoever. And there's enough room for my toes to wiggle and breathe on hot days.

Very pretty shoe! I have high arches and always worry about straps, but these can be moved up and down the top of the foot so it's very comfortable.

Very comfy shoe, true to size. They fit me well with no rubbing at the heel or top of my foot. They stay on my feet for biking and look really cute with skinny jeans or skirts. I might buy another color (I have the silver).

Fit great and are very comfortable. Took them on vacation to Europe the week after getting them. They were very comfortable even with hours of walking.

These are super cute and comfy. In fact I wore them all day today and my feet never felt worn out. I'm looking for an open toe version to wear this summer!

I got these shoes for an upcoming trip to Greece in which we will be walking and hiking a lot some of which in rough terrain. My first reaction was that I could not believe how comfortable they are. I am so happy with this purchase as it will be perfect for what I need it for. The closed toe allows for the hiking. There is great grip at the bottom and I can go all day in these.

I have another pair of Ahnu shoes, which are wonderfully comfortable, but a little heavy. For an upcoming vacation with 2-8 miles of walking each day, I thought these would be perfect. The stretchy heel was appealing as well as the overall lightness. Unfortunately, the strap connecting in the toe box was horribly uncomfortable on me. Back to the drawing board for finding the perfect walking vacation shoe that is comfortable, supportive, and hopefully somewhat stylish!

Very cute, pretty comfortable. Would be perfect if the straps were adjustable (after wearing for a while, one of the heels starts slipping).

I LOVE THESE SHOES! The quality, comfort, support, versatility, and look are so great. Goodbye flip flops and Birkenstocks - I have a new favorite shoe. Instantly comfortable (like another reviewer said, these are MORE comfortable than slippers), roomy toe box, fun style, good with shorts, dresses, pants, capris... Just can't say enough good things about these shoes. I purchased the silver sage (very neutral and go well with khaki color) and love the color. Now I must have more...maybe a new color each month. As regards size, I am a true 8.5 and purchased the 9 (whole sizes only). It fits fine because of the elasticized back. I promise you will love these and if you're on the fence, take the plunge. You'll be glad you did!

Great summer work shoe. Cute, light, comfortable and they breath. Just note that I usually wear US size 7.5 or 8. The 6.5 fits perfectly.

I bought these shoes for a cruise that required "dressing" for dinner, but I needed flats due to a recent Achilles injury. These shoes fit the bill very nicely. They look great with either pants or dresses, and are quite comfortable. The stretch back allows them to slide on easily, but they do run a bit large - I had to exchange the first pair I ordered for a smaller pair. I wish they had a bigger arch, but I say that about every shoe - these are better than most. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase!

These are great. I have been wearing a 9 for the past couple of years, but I ordered these in. 8.5 and they are just right! Not too tight, but not too big at the same time. I loved them so much I bought another pair.
