These are significantly too wide; not anything like the AA width that I need. I actually thought the wrong size had been sent and checked to make sure. Nope. The size label is correct, but the width fit is much more like a C or D width and not even close to a B. I was very surprised and disappointed because they are comfortable and attractive otherwise. I would have kept them had the width been the narrow fit I need, but back they go. Fortunately, Zappos' return policy is outstanding.

I was really disappointed in these shoes. I have been buying New Balance for many years and expected a lot better quality. The fit was as expected but the quality was lousy. The eyelets broke and the inner liner came loose shortly after I started wearing them. I only got about a month of wear total. I will keep buying New Balance but I am not going to even look at those that are at the low end of the price range...they simply aren't worth it.

I was told that this replaced the NB600 shoe but it does not feel the same. It was putting more pressure on the outside of the heel. It was very uncomfortable. Will return and try something else.

I have been buying New Balance shoes for about 5 years now. Love the comfort but they all fell apart before they wore out. I got 9 months out of my last pair. Thinking of trying another brand.

I bought a pair of these and less than 6 months later, the sides of the toe on both shoes is completely separated. They are cheap junk. Very disappointed.

New Balance has lost their way. The Original 608 was an excellent shoe. The 608V2 was not as good but I have had a pair for quite a while and they have been pretty darn good shoes. This V3 is nowhere near the same shoe. The appearance is way different (lose the Giant N please) and the tongue and its opening is totally shaped differently, the opening being way too wide. The sizing is wrong too. I wore the 608 and the V2 in 91/2 4E and they have been perfect. The V3 in that size is too short and too narrow. I'm going to try one more NB shoe (the 969) and if it is not good then I am done buying New Balance and will look to another maker that also has 4E's.

Horrible construction. First pair seam split in less than a month. Second replacement pair, defective. Third replacement pair, defective. It's just with the white/black/blue model. I ordered the same shoe in the brown version and it's great, even ordered a second pair of that model. But stay away from the white version, terrible quality control at that factory on that model.

Do not buy these shoes if you are over 150 pounds. The VS2 came unglued two months in. The VS3 is so slippery that I had to stop wearing them on smooth floors. I am not happy at all/

Love the fit and style, but they have started falling apart in under a month of daily use. The heel has separated and the side is splitting.
