These orthotics are truly amazing! I thought they were going to be big when I first opened them but it does say you can cut them if needed. But I didn’t have to cut them at all! They fit perfectly! The material is a bit hard to the touch but I just put some soft insoles on top of the orthotics and they are incredibly comfortable. These orthotics are a game changer! Thanks so much!

These are amazing. This is my second pair as I am tired of moving them back and forth between pairs of shoes. They make any shoes instantly more comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and high arches and these have helped so much.

Our podiatrist suggested my husband find an insert that would keep his shoes from flexing and thus provide more support. He did not require a custom orthotic, so this seemed a reasonable option. He is very happy with it and has hardly noticed the pain that prompted the initial podiatrist visit. Very happy with this solution.

These are great arch supports, but they do take some effort to find the right size. Although not nearly as high as the arch supports inside Vionic shoes themselves, and they could still be a little higher, they're the best inserts I've found for high arches so far, after having tried more than 10 varieties. I've got extra-wide feet that vary between sizes 9, 9 1/2, and 10 depending on the shoe/brand, but while the Medium size (labeled for Women 8.5 to 10) were appropriate for my feet lengthwise, they put the arch support in the wrong place on my foot. So I tried the next size up (Large), and with that, am able to place my foot properly on the arch, then trim the excess off in all directions to make it work for my shoes. As someone who struggles with the dreaded combination of extra-wide toes, narrower heels, high arches, and a high instep, I struggle to find shoes that fit at all, let alone are supportive. So even though it's a bit of a process to find the right size insert and then whittle it down to fit, it is SO worth it considering the dozens and dozens of shoes that might have worked (they fit!) but had to be sent back for lack of arch support. These Vionics open up so many options that were closed before.

I love Orthaheel/Vionic shoes and inserts. As a child I wore very sturdy shoes which supported my ankles. Vionic inserts give me proper support in all my shoes. I just remove the original insole and slip in the Vionic Inserts. I wear them in all manner of shoes. My rubber rain boots, riding boots, tennis shoes. Most people don't realize just how overall physical well being is affected by cheap ill fitting shoes. Vionic Inserts allow you to have the proper support your body craves relieving stress on the whole body.

These supports have made a world of difference for me. They actually work better than the podiatrist orthodics - more comfortable and provide the same support. They seem to run large and I had to cut mine down quite abit. I am extremely happy with these. I would recommend two pairs so you don't have to be switching them out from shoe to shoe. They do wear down, so when it feels like you aren't getting the same support, replace them. It's worth it! I would recommend getting a set of the dress pair, also. they easily slip into a regular shoe and provide really good support, also.

Before using Vionic Oh Active Orthotics, my feet would hurt when I first started walking after sitting-- even after sitting only 30 minutes in the car. These Vionic Orthotics completely solved the problem. Now I have them in all my shoes. When I put a new set of Vionic orthotics in shoes, I rotate the worn pair of Vionic orthotics into my gardening clogs or my "mowing the grass" shoes. I added the Spenco Polysorb Walking/Running insole to my usual Vionic Zappos order last time, just to try something new. Spenco was flimsy and had pretty much no arch support. I threw the Spenco away after standing in my shoes for a couple of minutes. I didn't try to return them since I had cut them to fit into my shoes. I regret my haste in throwing them away-- maybe Zappos would have refunded my money... Anyway, lesson learned--I'm sticking with Vionic.

I used prescription orthotics that cost hundreds of dollars, for years. I had a hip problem and the doctor suggested more pliable inserts. These fit the bill. Although firm, they are not hard, and they support the arch and cradle the heel perfectly. For plantar fascitis, bunions and a high arch, they are my saving grace. I use them in workout shoes and running shoes. And yes, I can run with those awful feet.

These work great giving me extra support in my larger profile shoes: athletic shoes and boots. The arch support in these is more rigid (plastic vs. foam) than the 3/4 and regular insoles, so it could be a bit much for some, but the foam overlay makes this much more comfortable than another popular brand of rigid insoles out there. When I first started tried these, I actually thought they were too hard, but either I just got used to it, or they work better in athletic shoes, which is what they're advertised for anyway! I've been using Vionics insoles in my shoes for 3 years this summer, after being diagnosed with a nerve condition that compromises the alignment in my feet that led to foot pain. These have been a game changers, and much much better than the custom orthotics I tried. It's worth a try if you have foot, knee, or hip pain.

I have used these inserts for years for plantar fasciitis. I bought a pair for my daughter who was complaining of intense foot pain. I suspected she needed arch support & ordered her a pair of these inserts. After a few hours in her shoes she said her feet felt much better & now has no further pain even while standing/walking long hours at her job. Great product. I replace them about every 6 months - when my foot pain starts to slowly return, I know it's time for a new pair of inserts. Wouldn't want to be without them.

I bought these to replace the original insoles that came with my vionic flats. For sizing definitely size down! For example, I’m an 8.5 so I originally ordered for the 8.5-10 shoe size, not wanting them too small. However they will fit a 10 perfectly, and can be cut to an 8.5. I returned it for the small I believe which was a max of 8.5 and it fits perfect, no need to cut. They are comfortable and may give a bit more support than the original insoles.

Orthaheel saved my Frye boots! I love Frye boots. Who doesn't love well made leather boots? That being said, Frye's are not comfortable out of the box IMHO. They could be used as methods of torture. In addition, Frye is known for crafting unusually tight boot shafts for anyone who cares to work out. I added Orthaheel insoles, and not only did they provide a ridiculous level of comfort, but boosted my height which relieved the shaft issue. I have used these insoles in boots, athletic shoes, loafers, and boat shoe type flats.
I'd also recommend:

I got these after my podiatrist recommended vionic sandals for my high arch. He said this brand is great compared to a lot of what’s on the market. Especially for a high arch support. I loved the sandals and wanted to add the same support to my other shoes. I have been battling plantar fasciaitis and have tried a few different insoles. Insurance hasn’t given approval for custom made inserts but honestly with these, I’m not sure I need to spend the money for custom supports! I work at a local hospital and am on my feet for 12+ hours. Plus I like to hike on my days off. With my hiking boots, I take out the insole and put these in instead. Works like a charm. My work shoes do not have a removable insole, so I just put these on top. It’s a little more bulky but still works. The work shoes do squeak with the insoles, but I tried going without one day and I’ll take a little squeaking over the pain from lack of support. Over all, I would recommend without hesitation.

Literally, love at first step! I have struggled with right SI joint and hip pain for over a decade. I have seen 4-5 different PTs, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, MDs with minimal relief. I stepped into these orthotics last Wednesday and felt an immediate shift in my gait. My right hip pain has nearly completely subsided and my right SI joint pain is lessened. I have already purchased another pair for my work shoes and the small 3/4 Vionics orthotics for my slippers. If you are struggling with hip or SI joint pain, consider ordering these. It is an easy thing to try!

I've ordered this VIONIC Oh Active Orthotic (used to be ORTHAHEEL) more than once...and got a pair for my husband, also. They offer more support than any other insole I've tried...and believe me, I've tried many, including one ordered through a doctor. This can't be trimmed at the heel, but it can be trimmed to fit around the toe and ball of the foot end. What a huge difference they make in foot comfort, helping to also support my inward pronation, as well as my fallen arches. One reason is the heel 'cup' for bottom of the heel, which prevents my heel from moving right or left while walking. My foot doesn't shift around, which will trigger plantar fasciitis pain if I walk long in a shoe where my heel slips around.

These rekindled my love for Frye boots. Frye makes beautiful boots, but they just aren't comfortable IMO. These insoles to the rescue! I wear a size 7 in Frye Carson Lug Tall & Veronica slouch boots, and the size Small fit perfectly without requiring any trimming. The insole does not add too much volume, just provides arch support and the extra comfort my boots were lacking. Now, I can have my Frye's and comfort too! I wear a 7 in nearly every shoe, or size 38 in European sizes, and the small insole fits very well.

These are my go-too orthotics inserts for past 6 or more years. They first were sold under Orthaheel brand that was allied with Vionic, now the name. I trim them at the toe area if needed for an exact fit. If you are careful in removing & inserting, these will last for a couple or so years. Well made. The heel cup & arch support is what makes them work so well, stabilizing my foot to not shift at the heel. I have flat feet, narrow heel, plantar fasciitis under control, arthritic big toes..all caused from working / walking in dress shoes, though modest heel heights, the soles were thin leather and toes were squeezed. These insoles let me wear more variety and stylish but comfortable shoes.
