I really like this hat. Don't get me wrong, you're not going to be the most stylish guy on the block, but it's light weight, repels water nicely, provides lots of shade, and breathes really well. It's a great hat!

Got the hat for white water rafting. UV is great the hat lives up to all claims. Would definitely buy it again.

I have had skin cancer removed on my ears and I live on the South Texas Gulf Coast so this hat is perfect for keeping the sun off my head. Cool in our Texas summers, but the brim will flop around in any wind. The adjustable size is a nice feature, just be advised the hat is sized large to accommodate everyone. I'm a 7 3/8" and I have to cinch it up quite a bit to get a snug fit.

This was an incredibly functional hat. I liked the zip tie in the back to adjust the fit around your head. The chin cord was great win windy conditions. The mesh was awesome in the heat and humidity. The water repellency did its job well too.

Hat is Awesome. Brim is wider than my original hat and dark color reduces glare. The mesh at top of hat helps to keep some breeze coming through. Ability to shape hat to your head with cord and elastic band keeps hat on in all but stiffest breezes. I usually flip chin strap into body of hat so my headphones don't get tangled. A good value at $30.00.

I love my plain bora bora booney! Why not add a print for a little statement. Great hat keep you shaded and cool.

This purchase was made as a gift to my father for his birthday. He loves it and tells me he doesn't even know he has a hat on.

Both my husband and I bought these hats and they worked great on our safari. He has a large head (hat size 8) and it fit fine. The bill was a bit flimsy (as mentioned in other reviews) when our truck got going over 20 mph but it wasn't bothersome.

A good functional summer hat with open vents that let a breeze in but with a wide brim that gives good shade coverage. Ordered the "sage"; it looked tan on my screen. It's a little darker than expected with a hint of green. It is a one size fits all; I'm a 7 3/8 -7 1/2 and the elastic band inside is not at all tight on me. I wish they offered more colors [Ex: NCAA school colors].

After a lot research I decided on this hat and I couldn't be happier with the result. I have an extra-large head, so it's tough to find a good fitting hat. This one fits perfectly and comes down nice and low, just over the ears, providing great sun blockage for my neck, ears, and face.I've worn it while riding my bike and it stays put. I also like the vent, which helps with cooling. You can stuff it into a day pack--and I have--and it bounces right back into the shape you need, one that provides excellent, lightweight coverage for your face and neck. And if you've got a smaller head than mine (that would be most people!), there's a handy, locking draw string that customizes the size, snugging it up in an instant. This is a great hat.

I purchased this hat to see if I could finally find a Booney hat that performed well and looked good. I also liked the color. Oh and one that would stay on my head while sailing. This one does it all. I am very happy with this hat and the price was right too.

I found the hat to be very useful for outdoor activities. The adjustable head band makes it a very good fit.

I used to wear a straw hat when doing my yard work here in sunny Orlando Florida. I replaced my straw hat with the Bora Bora hat and it was the best thing I did. The hat is much lighter. My head does not sweat as much as with the straw hat. The vents around the hat work great.

My best friend lives in Australia, and this is the only hat she'll wear! This one-size-fits-all is actually large enough for large-size heads, and the brim is wide enough to provide plenty of protection from the sun. I've been buying these and sending them to her for a few years. I have one for myself too, and I think they are awesome.

Great hat! Very light weight and comfortable. Zappos sent me a coupon and I got it for a great price. About to go on my first cruise and will wear this hat to keep the sun off my bald head.

The Bora Bora II Booney is my most recent addition to my Columbia PFG gear. I believe the thing that I like best is that I dont have to remove it while running down the lake. Most hats will fly off your head. The brim of the Bora Bora flips up and the hat stays put. I purchased the dark grey color. It does get a little hot at mid day so I would recommend a lighter color version for long days in direct sun. Another quality product

As an Aquatic biologists who works in Texas, we're in the field constantly and often in direct sunlight and during long hot summer days. The hat is very popular with my coworkers and I recommend it for anyone spending time in the field or just enjoy being outdoors. Excellent product!

Excellent hat. Fun look. Stays on head. Comfortable.

Great hat! It never gets too hot, blocks the sun and the strap keeps it tight on the head in windy days. I was hesitant about the One Size Fits All but there's a cinch cord at the crown that adjusts to any size head.

The best for protecting you from the sun on land and in the water!

Admittedly, I haven't worn it "out" yet. I looks good and feels very comfortable. I hope to talk it out on a hike or kayaking soon.

It's a fine hat. No complaints, wide brim keeps the sun off my face and neck, nice and light weight.
