I've only worn this once for golf, but the sun protection was great, the One-size-fits worked great, and overall the hat is very comfy.

The hat is amazing, it keeps the sun out of my eyes, and it also has cents that keep my head cool. I think it was a very good purchase. And would recomened it to anyone

Love this hat for being outside for a long time. The strap is comfortable and keeps the hat on even in high wind. I get much better coverage from the sun, and since my skin is very sensitive I can only wear SPF 15.

This is a great sun protection hat. It looks great on and the bonus is that it fits my husband's larger head. Not many hats fit him, even when they are sized as an XL. BUT, the best color is Black. Please bring back the black color as my husband does not want another color.

This is a great hat for just hanging out going camping or working it does the job!!

Nice, lightweight hat to keep the sun off. Nylon will dry quickly if wet. Definitely needed to cinch it up for proper fit. Can't wait to put it to hard use in the summer.

I couldn't wait for this hat to arrive in the mail as I'm outside everyday working on one project after another. I am so happy to report that I love this hat. It's super light and I find myself forgetting that I even have it on. Blocks alot of sun, which is what I needed. High quality and priced fair.

You can feel the temperature drop as soon as you put it on your head. Good on the sailboat, good on the beach, and it looks cool too!

Excellent hat! I ordered it 2 days before going out to New Mexico and received it the day before I left and I am glad I did! I wore it every day I was there...in the pool, hiking, sightseeing. It is so lightweight and comfortable it's like you're not even wearing a hat. The mesh keep you cool, offers excellent sun protection and you can adjust the back and chin strap. Worth every penny!

As an avid kayak fisherman, I need as much protection as possible from the South Florida sun. I typically wear a baseball cap with a buff but it isn't always comfortable to wear the buff all day. So I was looking for something with a brim to keep the sun off my face, and especially my ears. This Booney is perfect for the job. It is super lightweight and very comfortable and I had no problem wearing it all day. When the sun gets really hot, I can poor some cold water on it without it getting heavy and soggy. I love it.

I bought this for my husband who works outside and has had some skin cancer issues. It's exactly what I was looking for and is a great quality hat. I plan to buy another one to keep at home!

This hat is very lightweight and comfortable. It is adjustable, which allows me to have it a bit loose on hot days, but snug it up if it is windy. The brim will blow up in a stiff breeze from a certain angle, but I don't find it to be a problem. Packs flat and shakes out at destination.

I have one of these hats which I used last summer for hiking, nature photography, leading trail tours and kayak lake tours. I decided to purchase another this season in a different color. Very light but quite rugged. It packs very easily when I do photography trips. The brim does not get in my way when I'm looking through the viewfinder like a baseball hat. I would recommend this hat to anyone doing most any outdoor activity. When it gets windy you can cinch it down and change the size with the bungie cord in the hatband. A great product but then it's Columbia. Enough said!

I love this hat. It is lightweight and adjusts to fit any size head. The under chin tie is important on those extremely windy days. I have not had trouble with sunburn on my face since I started using the hat. I still apply sunblock as a precaution since I am very fair skinned. There is really nothing negative to say about the Bora Bora.

I've been testing this style for years, looking for one that fit me and provided good protection. This is the first time I have found one that fit and provided good quality and fit.

I had been looking for a hat of this nature. I have a big brimmed cotton hat that is way to hot for summer use. This one is so light that you hardly notice it. In 2002 I had skin cancer removed from forehead and was even more pleased to see the SPF 50 rating. I look forward to many years wearing this hat and the protection it provides.

This hat fits my big head just perfectly! I normally wear an extra large and this one is comfortable. Great Quality!

Runs a little small but I have a real big head so maybe that factor in overall a great hat thats not a heavy bulky one

The hat serves well protecting me from the Florida sun. Your site was one of the easiest to navigate as well as having the right hat. I like the chin strap for those windy days.

Great hat! I took it on a 2 week trip to Africa and it performed like a champ. Due to the length of my trip, and the fact that I was packing for both business and pleasure, space in the suitcase was at a premium. This hat definitely earned it's place; it packed flat as a pancake, took up virtually no room at all, and weighed next to nothing. On the game drives, it was a lifesaver; it kept the sun off of my face and neck but, due to the vented mesh insert at the crown, did not cause me to overheat. I loved the little slider on the chin strap, as it allowed me to tighten the strap just enough to keep the hat from sailing off as we drove. I will definitely bring this hat with me when I return to Africa next year.

It's a floppy hat. You can crunch it and store it away anywhere. It has a chin strap to keep it on in the wind and a little bungee elastic for a more secure fit. It has ventilation which is a plus. Stylish it isn't; practical it is.
