I brought two one to wear in the summer time and the other one for the falls

It is as light as possible, which is much appreciated in the heat and humidity of summer. It's sun-protective, and if one zips it up all the way, it protects one's chest and neck from the sun. The vest has lotsa pockets, which is handy. It really is the summer vest I have been looking for for a very long time. I highly recommend it.

This vest is very light! I purchased one for me and came back to purchase two more for gifts.

I know that this vest was made for fishing, but it is a perfect vest for traveling. It has so many pockets that it make it easy to put everything you need at your finger tips.

I ordered a size too large so had to return. Loved this vest though!

The vest is what I expect from Columbia--quality apparel. Quality in terms of style, material, and construction. It is great for a chilly morning when you want flexibility in your wear and still desire looking good.

When I do traveling at the airport on check counter passing through table , hiking trails in the mountains. This vest multiple pockets jacket is very useful.

This vest fit me just right. I was looking for something with lots of pockets that I could use while traveling. I needed places for my passport, wallet, money, boarding passes, and sunglasses. This vest fit the bill perfectly. I love the zippered pockets and the 'hidden' pockets behind them. The vest is light and not bulky at all. Just what I was looking for.

I always loved vests and different styles of them so when I saw this one I had to get it! This one gives me more of an adventurer-look compared to other vests I've seen and it was exactly what I wanted out of it. Not to mention, the many pockets on this vest give it a nice touch. This vest is light and comfortable and perfect for the weather here in Texas where I am. I highly recommend this vest to anyone who wants one that is light weight, can carry many things, and wants to have that adventurer look to them. This vest has it all!

I use this as a travel vest when flying and for daily wear in cooler months. This is my second purchase, and like the color variety offered in this vest. A good garment you can enjoy using throughout the year.

My husband needs a vest to "carry" his phone, paperwork etc on his job. He usually wears a down one, but summer arrived in a big way, so he needed something lighter! I found this one, was very very happy with it, he wears it almost every day. It is just a smidgin' tight when zipped, as it is slightly taiored. He would wear it unzipped anyway. He's a little chunky, so XL vary, and we expected it might be. YET STILL, you get an A+ for this. great quality and value. A little spendy, but worth it.

Bought this for my hubby for our safari. It is lightweight and he loves it. I wish it had more pockets so he could carry all my items. But it worked out perfect.

Perfect. Lightweight, plenty of pockets inside and out. Well made and comfortable. The first vest of its type I found that I could wear during summer. With added layers, good for colder weather also. The vented back keeps airflow going. At 6'1" and 260 [2XL], its not easy to find the combination of all the factors listed above. Thanks Columbia!

This fits very well. Many pockets to protect your items. I purchased to wear this on Caribbean cruises. It is light weight and uv protection. Getting back on the ship I put everything in the pockets a zip thru security.

This is my second purchase within matter, of two weeks. I love the vest... it's exactly what I had imagined. Every time I wear it I average at least 5 compliments per day wanting to know where I purchased this vest...Highly highly recommend...Good Work Columbia

I found this vest at a consignment store, and found it to be excellent. It is light, but warm; I can wear it with just a long-sleeved shirt in 40 degree Colorado weather and be just fine. I haven't tested it in warmer temperatures yet, but it is very breatheable (while still keeping you warm in cooler temps!), so I imagine that I'll be able to wear it with a sleeveless shirt when in warmer climates. It is made of a strong Ripstop nylon, and has so many pockets, it's crazy. I probably will order one in a different colour later on. Overall, it's a must-have.

Didn't use the pockets much, but it was perfect for layering on our safari. Fit very well.

Very impressed with the quality, access to features on the vest. Light weight etc so I bought another for traveling to Europe and International sites.

Rome is terrible for pick pockets (2 attempts in 3 subway rides and another observed). I got this Vest after that trip, and love the secure pockets to keep safe items from crooks.

Very comfortable light weight vest. Great looking, great for wearing on fall or spring days over work or casual clothes. Own two Silver Ridge shirts which are versatile for cooler seasons also, have held up well.
