Nice vest for concealed carry. Looks generic, not tactical.

My husband really does like this vest. It is very comfortable and much handsomer in real life than the photo. We have now bought three of the same vest! It's a great warmer season vest. He wears a XXL and looks so cute in this.

I bought this vest for my husband. He tried and it looked good on him. Great travel vest and it looks nice. He was looking for a travel vest for a while, this vest is not too bulky.

This is a great looking vest that is also fully functional. Many pockets to handle whatever life brings at you. Only request I have is for a dedicated exterior pen sleeve/pocket for easy access. Otherwise, it's well thought out and designed!

Lightweight and cool; especially important qualities here in Texas. Excellent fit. Performs very well in the activity for which I purchased it. This is my second one and I intend to buy another in a different color. I highly recommend this product.

My husband has a collection of cell phones, work radio, pocket calendar, and other odd things. He hated the fanny pack idea, and all the stuff on his belt wasn't working.
He loves his vest(s), and wears it everyday - we got different colors.
only wish there was a XXXL for one of his work mates.

I have found the Silver Ridge Vest to be a perfect match for my Life on the water . The winter finds me cruising the north Florida coastal waters and in the summers I'm exploring the Pacific North West . The Silver Ridge Vest designs combines all the important features including OMNI-WICK that keeps me dry and OMNI- SHADE to protect me from the sun . The pocket arrangement is perfect for keeping me organized . This vest has become my go to garment whether I'm cruising on the water or hiking a trail on shore . It's a real must have .

These vests are hard to find. It's lightweight, fashionable and functional. I purchased grill which is dark grey (black is very hard to find) and it's a great color. My husband loves this vest and also has one in tan. Great for hiking and general travel.

I bought the vest for my son. He said:The vest fits true to size, but with enough space to wear a sweater underneath when your out skiing. It has enough pockets to carry cellphones, keys, etc. It is light weight and perfect to take on the slopes in MILD winter conditions, yet it is also perfect for evenings around a college town while your riding your bike.

Bought this for East Africa and do not one bit regret it. Mesh linings keep it cool, the pockets carry half my EDC without being *too* bulgy, layers over my Bahama II and Tamiami shirts just right for the evenings. I love this thing... ordered a second one in gravel just for some diversity...

I bought the Silver Ridge vest for a camping trip to Yellowstone in the fall and I wouldn't have survived without it. Kept me warm when I needed it to and nullified the wind. Plenty of pockets came in handy. The turtleneck keeps you very warm and combined with a thick flannel, the combo is unstoppable in all but heavy winter weather. Works well as a lining for a heavier winter coat as well. Fit perfectly.

I haven't taken the vest off! I use this vest daily to organize my workday---I'm outside half the time and inside computing data the other half ---the vest functions well to meet my need. Very comfortable and lots of pockets for all necessities.

My husband loves this vest with all the pockets, places for glasses, phone, wallet, keys. Very cool, yet warm, good looking.
The XL is not extremely large - just right. A little long and snug... so if you are deciding an XL might be too big (sometimes they are)... this one is an exact, if not just barely, an XL.
The L I bought for my brother was too tight around the stomach... he's a little hefty there, so I exchanged for the XL He thought I had bought him the XL long.
If this vest is going to be so popular, you might want to make one shorter/fatter and one for the thinner/taller guys. Maybe you already have.
Need a ladies' version and I'm petite and don't want it too long! How about gray?

This is by far the most functional vest I have ever owned. I wore it to travel to South America: it has many pockets for storage, provided sun and light rain protection, and was just warm enough for the over AC'd plane ride. It seems to run just slightly large, a good thing, it can be layered. It is well constructed, and can be adjusted at the waist for a better fit.

The vest is comfortable and light enough to wear during cooler summer weather. Has an assortment of pockets providing a decent amount of storage. I have been using it as a hiking and fishing vest to carry light tackle into more remote locations. Fit was accurate I have 41" chest ordered large and fit fine. Fabric dries quickly have worn in light rain.

Before ordering, I read the reviews on the Silver Ridge Vest.
One review indicated the vest received was not generous/loose fitting.
I am 180# - 6'1" with longer trunk. I usually buy tall sizes: Large Tall
Knowing the vest was not generous, I opted for XL Size & more length.
The XL size was OK for me. I can reduce hip size via draw cord.
The Columbia name tag on the vest is light, silver threaded Columbia name is hard to recognize. I suggest light tag have dark letters to better advertise your product.
Botton Line: A very nice vest and I am pleased with it.

With an extra two, zippered pockets added in front, this is an improvement over last year's model, in fact, addressing the only problem I had with last year's model. There are now 7 pockets in front-4 zippered, 2 hand and a hook & loop. Being 6'3", I was concerned vest didn't come in tall size. However, the XL fits great, not too short. $70 is a little steep, but after googling, I bought two more of these vests from another website for $52.50 apiece. Plan to wear this vest to an amusement park instead of wearing my usual fanny pack, because as the World's Most Interesting Man says, "You lost me at the word 'fanny'."

I was looking for a lightweight vest for warm-weather walking that had pockets for my i-pod, etc. This fits the bill. It's good-looking, comfortable, and full of pockets of various sizes. I had to purchase a mens vest because it's not offered in womens sizes.
