Fit and quality good for the Cargo pants. However the material is thin, so I hope they hold up.

Comfortable. Lightweight and cool. Belt was too flimsy.

These pants run large. I wear a 36 x 32, but knew to purchase large in the waist per recommendation. 32" length was spot on but I am glad I ordered a 38 waist. It is slightly large, but 36 would have definitely been too small. To carry a wallet in the hip pocket is quite entertaining to my wife. Where my wallet sits in the pocket is low and loose enough that there is a curious wiggle-waggle as I walk. I purchased a second pair in City Gray, also 38 x 32. The fit is the same, but curiously the front pockets hang out like backward ears which is not the case on "Fossil" color pants. My wife believes she might be able to tidy up that factory error with her sewing machine. Otherwise I am a happy camper.

Was looking for a light pair of hiking pants to wear in the warmer spring and summer months while camping. These certainly fit the bill, light weight and breathable.. I just wish they were a bit more stretchy. they are also a tad small in the waste I normally wear a 33 waist and the 34 on these are a little snug.

I have worn this line of pants for many years now. They have always been one of my top picks for hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities here is at times hot and humid Southwest Florida. These pants are light and airy and move well. They do not really stretch but they do not encumber free movement so they don't need to stretch. What you should know. I believe these are most comfortable ordered 1 size up from your normal size. That is my experience, yours may be different. What I do not like in the latest version is the now extra shiny look which is likely for UPF 50. I would rather have the older look which I believe was rated 30 Ultraviolet Protection Factor. I also do not care for the OmniShade applique branding now prominent on the leg and not show in the website marketing images. The front top pockets could stand to be a tad bit deeper. All in all these are great pants if you are outdoors and value lightweight, freedom of movement, and quick drying.

I have enjoyed these trousers so far. Nice and light, they brush off thorns fairly well on hikes and pretty much every stain washes out easily except for oils/ fats. Blood, grass, fish guts- no problem. Only reason I give four stars is, admittedly, a very first world niggle; the zipper fly is a bit short for doing things guys do with a fly. It zips a bit shy of comfortable use if you're needing to... I doubt I need say more.

I have a couple pair of these pants and they are *nearly* perfect as travel pants. Except for the flimsy mesh pockets: they cannot withstand normal wear and tear. Car keys slash right through them. If your key has a key ring, the end of the ring will invariably hook itself onto one of the loops. Please eliminate the mesh pockets and substitute nylon taffeta or anything besides mesh!

This is a very comfortable pant, ideal for the summer weather. Neither very tight nor very loose.

Love the pants, work in them 5 days a week.
Only issue, front pockets are shallow, change comes out often when I sit down.

These are light comfortable pants which I wear for fishing even though they are listed as trail pants. They run one waist size small, so order the next size up. Once that issue is sorted out you will enjoy all the features of these outdoor sport pants.

I love the material for hot weather since I work in Iraq where it gets very hot in summer. I would like to see the pants in a less baggy version.

I have several pairs of these pants for hiking and kayaking. They are comfortable light weight pants that will dry quickly when they get wet. I prefer the men's pants to women's as they fit looser in the legs and have deeper more functional pockets for outdoor activities. I wish Columbia would make a women's pant with these features. When I tried a smaller size after losing some weight I found the next size down to be too short waisted and too tight through the rear. I'll just have to cinch the belt on the 32 waist.

This product keeps up with quality and function of all Columbia products. I was surprised that the size ran a bit small.

The pants are a little snug but not so much that I needed to return them. They have a somewhat slick synthetic hand but are quick to dry and have generously sized pockets. Good pants for general purposes, fishing, hiking, yard work, etc.

I really enjoy these pants. They're great for going through dense woods when it's warm as they'll protect you without making you too hot. My one issue with these pants have been the fit. I usually wear a 30x32 pant pretty much everywhere. The waist on these were tighter than I'm used to and the legs were longer than expected. Length wasn't an issue, just hemmed them to fit.

Everything about these pants is great BUT holes soon wore through the mesh pockets. Change the pockets then I'll be first in line to buy another pair.

I bought these to use as a pair of hiking pants in Alabama. I'm not a fan of the built in belt so I removed it. The pockets are functional and well placed, however, the inside of the pocket is mesh and my experience has been that these types of pockets tear up rather quickly. I'm 6' tall,195 pounds. I ordered a 34/32 and it fits as expected, perfect at the waist, slightly snug on my thighs (which I like), plenty of room in the lower legs. They fit easily over a pair of mid length hiking boots.
