Good light weight pants, the straight fit leads to a bit baggy feel around the ankles, and it's kinda tight for the fit around the hips. But overall great pants

Only used once so far but accomplished what I needed in sizing. 30" inseam can be long on my short legs and 28" was much better. Also appreciate the 40" waist. I have large upper legs and large backside so in that area that are a little small. Would like more room here. Don't know if there is a 'relaxed' fit. Cargo pockets seemed roomy compared to some other brands I looked at.

This is a SUMMERTIME pants. They are very thin and not for fold weather at all. Note that they are not water proof or resistant, but have water repelling tendencies or watever it states. Meaning any water that touches will immediately soak in, but does evaporate fairly quickly when in decent temperatures.

I started hiking in these pants probably 10 years ago. They're very light, never too warm. I like having the large pockets on the legs. The back-pockets aren't usable -- the stitching will give way the first time you put something in them, so I don't use those pockets. And they don't handle abrasion well, so mine have got some small holes. But the zippers have held up (I hate zipper failures in the backcountry), they're light and they're comfortable, the most comfortable and useful overall that I've worn. So I'm buying more.

I love Columbia and virtually every product I've bought from them! These pants are a great concept, but the stitching in the back pockets quickly came undone. (I think the stitching in one pocket was never completed, and in the other unravelled within maybe a half dozen wearings.) I actually plan to buy another pair, but hope the company will do more to ensure the quality of the product.

Hi there,
Top stitch at both back pockets broke after few wear on the mitered corner. This part of the pocket is on bias (bias has stretch and lockstitch does not therefore thread breaks easily). Suggestion: Change DN lockstitch to chainstich (chainstitch has more "give") or to DN bottom coverstitch to avoid thread breaking. Or change the pocket shape to rectangular instead of mitered. I can send you photos of an issue if interested.

Quick dry (15 minutes) nylon material is highly durable and comfortable to wear. I love all the pockets and the placement of them. Also glad two of the front pockets close - one with a zipper and one with velcro. I use these Silver Ridge pants for hiking, fishing (wet wading in the river) and everyday use as well. Great for conversion to shorts or swim suit with zip off legs. A Columbia staple for years! nice selection of colors as well. Thanks Columbia!

VERY GOOD PANTS FOR ALMOST ANY ACTIVITY. ONLY COMPLAINT - THE WAIST IS TOO LARGE. ORDERED 32 AND PANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 33 AND MORE LIKE 34.

I ordered these in the Grill and Black. Colors are accurate. 38/34 and the size is just what I needed. I tend to order up a waist size (which is what I did with these) to compensate for my height (6'-3") and longer legs to provide the mobility I need when being active in these pants.
I could use a little more circumference in the quad to knee area and wish there were zippers on the bottom of the pant leg so I wouldn't have to take shoes off while "converting". I like the mesh waist pockets (front and rear), zipper pocket on the left & velcro on the right

Fit is fine, but color is way different than online photos. Photos look like a light ash grey, but in fact they are a medium grey. I even replaced one pair to check for color problem. All the same darker grey.

The pants are pretty comfy and light, a little noisy though. There's six pockets, the normal four and then two on the upper leg. The two on the upper thigh are nice but not very comfortable with something heavy. One of the pockets is zippered and the other is velcro which is two safe options so you don't have to worry about losing valuables.

Nice pants and appear to fit the bill. They fit well but haven't put them to the test on the trail, travel or the golf course. Stay tuned

Pants are very comfortable. I am quite happy with them except that they came out of the washer and dryer looking like I slept in them. Did not shed any wrinkles and looked like they should be ironed.

Good travel pants. Nice color options. For me the 34 waist was find but I want a little more thigh room in this type of pant. Features and fabric are great.

Great pants! Comfy, stylish, and I've heard they hold up well.
A friend and I both got these pants a few years ago, but had issues with there not being enough room in the thigh area, especially if we put anything in our pockets. And while I'm not the thinnest guy out there, I'm definitely on the thinner side of things. So I returned the pants and got a pair that were a tiny bit too big around the waist, and then there was plenty of room in the thighs.

I'm very happy with the convertible pants. They're light, comfortable and super easy to convert to shorts and back. They ran a tiny bit longer then I expected but overall great product.
