Ordered Gravel color thinking it was grey even though there is another grey color Grill. GRAVEL IS GREEN. Whoever decided to name something green, gravel? Gravel is not green. Couldnt tell color on the website. Not what we wanted but no time to replace. Frustrating. Fit well and lots of good pockets. Havent worn them yet.so cant comment on wear.

recently made the purchase and tried to applied first order discount but failed. Contact customer support and being told they are not able to adjust the price, unless I return the order first and replace a new order.the order was delayed and took forever to receive.. i am sure they have good product, but not customer and delivery service. Will just return the product and purchase elsewhere..

Great pants, I have 3 of them in different colors. Very lightweight, easily convertible, very easy to wash , very quick drying. What more could you want?

Excellent pants. Lightweight and very stylish. I like the look so much that I wear them even when I don't intend to use the convertible feature.

The silver ridge convertible pants were as expected except that the actual color was quite a bit off from what was displayed on the Columbia website.

I like these. One problem is that my keys rip holes in the mesh pockets, so I have to have them replaced with solid-fabric pockets.

I bought a set of these pants and have been pretty happy with them - they are lightweight, and work well. My one concern is that the rear pockets (where I tend to keep my wallet) have started to become detached from the fabric on the pants - essentially it seems like the thread that is used to sew the mesh pocket to the pants breaks or wears through.

These lightweight outdoor pants are enormously comfortable. Warm in cool weather, cool in warm weather. More stylish than the photos reveal. The material is mildew resistant in case you need to hand-wash and hang dry. Pockets secured by zippers or Velcro. Convertible to shorts. Mesh pockets. These high-tech pants are well worth the money. If you get stuck traveling or in temporary quarters with no laundry and don't drive, these pants are useful. Hand wash and hang dry. Hang near a window with sun or place in front of a small sun lamp to inhibit mildew. Get a shirt made of modal or a 70% modal polyester blend and you have the best anti-mildew combination available. Highly recommended.

Bought these to replace my old pair of trekking pants that are close to 20 yrs old. I trust Columbias quality. They fit great. Im a medium tall and the 32/34 are perfect. Super construction and design. My only bugaboo is the color. Purchased charcoal as a good neutral color. The pants have a definite green hue. Not like any charcoal Ive used. Makes the neutral color decidedly in-neutral. Otherwise, fantastic purchase.

I based my size needed for this order on a previous pair that I purchased last year, which also was based on an order two years before that. The new pair of hiking pants fit like a glove! PERFECT!

I first got these from REI, and liked them so much, that I ordered two more from here. I have worn them on all of my hikes for the past 2 years and they are very comfortable and light weight. I like that the pockets are sewn inside and not outside, but the stitches do come off easily if you scrape your butt against rock/ground.

I have always liked the nylon ripstop convertible pants. My observation is that the leg zippers are now smaller and there were several loose threads in various places on these. We'll see how they last. Previous pairs have lasted years of regular use, on the trail and in the office

Im a fishing guide in SW Florida and these are a must have. There is plenty of pockets, light weight and comfortable. The only problem Ive been having recently is that the back packets come un sewed after a few months.

I have owned in the neighborhood of 12 pair of these in various colors over the last few years. In general I really like them. Durable, breathable, comfortable. However there is one critical flaw. The stitching on the back pockets comes out. Not sometimes... all the time. Every single pair I have had at one point or another, my wallet went sliding down my leg. Every single pair. I have restitch every one. This is the only product I have owned multiple of that had a 100% failure rate. Also I'm not the only review to mention these pockets either. If I was told that my wallet would fall out I'd steer clear. There is another version of the Silver Ridge Convertible pant marked "Utility" that I recently purchased. It seems more durable, but I can't weigh in on them since I have only had them a few weeks.
