I like how lightweight and comfortable these pants feel. I am concerned with durability. I'm usually a 36" waist; the 38" fit me better. Length is appropriate. Very happy with these, I hope they last.

These pants are great. Rugged, versatile (can be used as shorts), and good in the Pacific Northwest wet (they get wet but dry quickly). The cargo pockets allow me to carry my wallet in a way it won't hurt my back when driving or on a plane; couple this with their versatility and they are great "traveling pants". Beware of the non-cargo pockets!! They are made of a webbing that is not very durable. I have lost car keys, and a hotel key on separate occasions due to the pockets developing holes. 3 suggestions for Columbia: 1) use a stronger material for the pockets. 2) have a lanyard with a key latch in a place where you could slip a key into a pocket, like on your Whirlibird IV jackets. 3) have more elastic material on the waist to accommodate a wider range of fits.

Pretty good pants for casual events and being in the outdoors. They run a little small and I had to size up for them to be comfortable compared to other Columbia clothing.

Runs small--the quality was great. Return seems easy but I don't think there should be a fee. So many other places offer free returns. I was going to reorder but do not wish to pay another $6.00 so I will go elsewhere.

These are my husbands go to pants for traveling and golfing. The versatility of them is greatpants or shorts options. Easy wash, no iron. Nice fit and fabric. He owns 7 pairs! They still look great after 6 years!

After completing my purchase and receiving all confirmations, two days later they cancelled my purchase saying that my payment method was not compatible with their standards.... It was a CHASE credit card that I've been using for 12 years now, lots of credit limit, everything matching. I was in need of that pant to work, I was embarking on the next days and was definitely in need of it. of course that I had to travel without it!

comfortable, fresh, fast drying, its fabric and the possibility of changing them from pants to shorts is simply spectacular

I wore these pants on a Hike , while they are really high quality and looks like a durable pants the only thing they are lacking is flexibility, the croch area is a little restricted and uncomfortable when hiking uphills. They would be great if Columbia added a little spandex to it.

I had to order these pants in one waist size larger than other brands of pants that I own. The pants then fit good and the zipper area for the legs located above the nee is a good design so they do not feel different from other long pants.

This started out as my hiking/backpacking convertible pants but they're so comfortable, I often wear them as an everyday pant. Slightly generous but not baggy fit allows freedom of movement. As some others have said, inseams run slightly short (good for me), so I would size up if you are in between sizes. The only change I would make is increasing the durability of the mesh pockets which, while quick-drying, often develop holes. I also like that there's lots of color choices.

A bit on the small side for their size, but otherwise good quality.

Needed to go one waist size up in order to make the shorts comfortable otherwise it felt like I was going to Busta Seam as I sat down

i liked last years (or maybe 2 years ago) better. they made these super thin no doubt but is that good?! also, they are tighter in the hips now. you dont notice it TOO MUCH just walking but bending over and say, getting on a motorcycle, you really feel the tight in the hips. it feels like you are going to rip them when i got onto my motorcycle but all and all, good.

This is my third pair of these pants. They fit well, are lightweight and I really like their versatility.

Good pants. Comfortable. My husband does not care for the zippers on legs but those fit better than a pair of non convertables. The legs are wider and better to keep cool on hikes. Got two pairs as the styles changes constantly which I do not care for. Every next time it is harder to find a well fitting pair.

IF you are between sizes - pick the smaller size. Will fit snug in waist but the butt will fit.

Fit and feel were very good. Would like deeper pockets. Needs flap over zipper in left cargo pocket and zipper under the flap on the right cargo pocket. I travel a lot and that feature has saved me from a pick pocket!

I got one size larger; with a belt it fits perfect.

They are pants. What can I say. I pull them on, they cover my legs. Lots of pockets. Very useful. I bought my first pair years ago of this brand, and really liked them. Polyester material dries quickly after a hike through wet underbrush. They fit well, and I like them.
