This is the first pair of pants like this that I've owned and I love them. Super comfortable and versatile. quickly convert from long pants to shorts. I recommend folding the placket that covers the zipper before unzipping and zipping to avoid catching in the fabric. The pockets are perfectly placed and very useful. I have since purchased another pair. Highly recommended these pants!

Purchased these pants for my boyfriend, for kayaking. He loves everything about them- fabric, fit and function.. they are breathable but protect him from wind and sun, and the zip-off legs provide an option when it's warmer out. They dry quickly. Really the prefect garment for his purpose.

Working from a kayak, I get sun protection, brush protection while out of the water, and dry pants soon after getting out. Love these pants.

These are the pants you want. VERY lightweight and comfortable. I spend a lot of time out on the water during the hot summer months and these are my preferred pants.

Suited my needs perfectly. Look good and fit as per the description. Function well and my wife thinks my butt looks great in them. What more would I need?

I purchased these for my boyfriend and he loves them so much we got them in 2 colors. They are lightweight and very comfortable.

These pants fit really well. I am 6'2" 195lb. and the 34" inseam fits great. The pants are a little slim fitting and snug in the rear-end. I wore them in the rain yesterday, they got soaked, but I was dry and they dried inside in about two hours. I recommend these pants for everyday use and outdoors/hiking.

I love these pants. I live in sothern California with cool mornings and warm days. I play golf and these fit the bill perfectly. Easy to use and great quelity, so it last a long time. I wish they made a model that was a little heaver material for the cold mornings.

We are going on a cruise in October, 2015 and I wanted something light for packing. These serve two purposes. If it's cool, I have pants to wear. If it gets warm, I have shorts. These fit well and look good. I have two pair ready for traveling.

Ordered these because I broke my ankle in a bicycling accident, and had to wear a cam boot. I wanted pants with removable lower legs, and this fit the bill perfectly. The pants are much more comfortable and durable than I expected, and they dry quickly after washing. I look forward to wearing them long after my injury heals.

Lightweight, SPF built in, convertible from pants to shorts, lots of pockets, and comfy! I got both the shirt and pants. Velcro pockets scare me over long term use, but I'll see how it holds up.

I got my first pairs for a trip to Africa and learned how fabulous, comfortable and versatile they are! I spent most of my life coaching and only wish I had these pants then. I went to a football game with my wife and got caught in a fall shower. By halftime, my pants were completely dry and comfortable, while my wife's jeans were wet and miserable. I ordered my latest pair, because I just had shoulder surgery. I can wear these to work and easily get them on with my non-dominant hand. They are fabulous!

I am a bit tall will slim legs and these pants fit very nicely. Very nice material, very light weight and dry quickly.

Just bought my second pair and will probably add more colors. I love these pants. Bought them for sun protection when spending hours in an open kayak fishing. They are incredibly comfortable, even on hot days. I usually get the bottoms wet while launching, and they dry within a couple minutes. Another big plus is that it is very easy to reattach the legs, even while wearing the shorts. I've never had to struggle with the zippers.

I wore these pants to Disney during July and was very pleased with the fit and comfort. I did not get hot at all. The pockets are perfect for carrying several things. The best part was how quickly they dried after getting wet in the rain. I highly recommend these for any outdoor occasion.

A little hesitant to order pants online, but with Zappos no risk return, took a chance and found they fit perfectly. Want to order more, but out of stock, and waiting... Do wish they had a bit of stretch to them, but the waist and length were good, so what more can I ask, right? Still waiting for the back order, please!

purchased this pant for a coworker. He works outdoors nearly everyday and loves the functionality of the pant - can be worn to indoor meetings or out in the field. Loves the convertible pant and secure pockets. (I own the women's version and feel the same!)
