Love these pants. Lightweight, soft, comfortable. Enough room in the pockets for necessities; not too much for overloading. I'd love to see a 36" length for us tall guys !

Buy these every few years for scout camp, and they're still in good shape to pass down when they've been outgrown. Great basic convertible pant.

I highly recommend any outdoorsman to have these pants in their wardrobe. I've had lots of the regular silver ridge pNts but the zip off option to change these into shorts is a must

These convertible pants are beautifully built. Even the leg zipper functions perfectly converting to slacks or shorts. Fabric is strong and resists snags and pulls. My husband and I have 4 colors but we would love to see them in black next season!

I wore these pants while doing invasive plant removal in south Florida's summer. They kept my legs protected from thorns, poisonous plants, and the sun. Extremely lightweight, but they are built very well. I destroyed many other brands of pants doing this work, but these lasted me the whole time I was down there. They fit me very well, but I do have larger quads and calves so they would be a bit loose on a normal sized person

Exactly what I was looking for; lightweight, will dry quickly, and should pack down small. Fits my frame (5'8", 148lb) really well.

I own 4 pairs of your shorts they are great, when I saw these pants they were same design and material as the shorts I had to have them. live in vegas and in winter these pants are perfect cause it never gets super cold. I realize these pants turn into shorts but your real shorts are so good and length is good I will keep buying your shorts also

I wear these when running walleye charters on Lake Erie. The fishing gets fast and furious at times and walleye will bleed all over you and the boat. Spray a little prewash on heavy spots and then launder as usual and it washes right out. As for comfort, I will start at 4am as long pants - switch to shorts later in morning and if still on the lake at noon - back to long pants to protect from sun. These are a little slimmer cut on the legs. If you like a more loose cut, look at the Blood and Guts Convertible Pant.

I mostly wear these in the summer, due to the thin material, and the fact you can turn them into shorts. I also wear them when I am expecting to get wet from rain, as they dry out so fast, so they come in handy in both the spring and fall. In the winter, I will wear them around the house because they are so light and unrestrictive. For cold weather however, I switch to something thicker and warmer. I also like the color selection, and have been wearing these for several years now. I just recently replaced my old for new, and was shocked to see no real color loss, even after several years of wearing and many many washes.

Had the first hike with these last week for about 13 miles....did very well. My size was the 32/30. I had ordered a 32/32 just in case the 30s were too short, but they were not, so kept the 32/30. They were very comfortable, had plenty of flexibility while walking and climbing, and very lite...would order again.

I bought my husband a pair of these this spring, and he quickly asked for another. These two pants, with their shorts option, have gotten him through the entire summer! He's already asking for more colors for next summer. Now I'm searching for their colder weather equivalent!

I wore these convertible pants hiking John Muir Trail for five days. They are light and comfortable. The difference between other shorts I've worn of this style is the slight stretch in the waste. With the included belt, I've not worn other shorts that can compare in comfort. The legs easily zip on and off and stowed away compact when temps warmed up. Also moved well when climbing over obstacles on the trail.

I ordered a bunch of these to wear each day during Boy Scout Summer Camp in Northwood, NH in August 2015. The idea was to convert the pants to shorts during the day and then zip them back up at night. Temps were low 90s to low 80s during the day and mid 60s to mid 50s during the night; mostly sunny with some t-storms during the week. The pants worked out great: very light to wear, never felt hot. I used a Boy Scout web belt (and not the belt included with the pants) and had a Leatherman Surge attached to my belt the entire time. I also had a CRKT knife clipped to a pocket; both held up well on the pants. When not in use during the day I stored the zipped-off pant legs in the side pockets so I always had them with me to re-zip when needed (I didn't store much other stuff in these pockets so there was plenty of space to store the pant legs). Still trying to find a pair in color black though...

Pants performed as described. They were a great addition to my gear for my recent trip in the Boundary Waters. Dried quickly and stood up to the rugged environment of the BWCA.

I am 6'2 and 200 pounds. I ordered 36x34 and they fit great. I like everything about these pants- the fabric is great, they seem well made, the pockets are functional and the zip off pant feature works well. I don't know why I wore hot, bulky jeans for so long because these are far superior. These are the hiking pants you want.
