This is my favorite sandal! it come snug, but loosens perfectly quickly. This is my 4th pair and I try others every year, but can't seem to find one that is as comfortable and stylish. I love it.

I have been wearing the Mephisto Helen since 1997. These are my favorite shoes.\r\nI have these in many colors.\r\nThey are truly the most comfortable footwear that exists. The foot-bed molds to fit your foot in a unique way, making them more comfortable each time you wear them.

These are fabulous shoes. They feel like butter. It is the third pair of them I have bought in the last 6 years. The only drawback of this style was that it is coated with a black shiny topcoat which I don't like as much as the natural look.

I already knew I loved the Mephisto Helen sandal when I ordered a pair from Zappos. I bought my first pair at a store prior to a trip three years ago. I wore those sandals for 10 days almost to the exclusion of every other shoe I'd brought. I was on my feet all day every day and the sandals were great. They have yet to be surpassed in my book for comfort, durability and style (considering they aren't a frou frou sandal). Once I came home, I continued to wear these sandals most of the time. I sent my first pair out to be refurbished by Mephisto and now wear my new sandals everywhere. Zappos was amazing and I deal with internet and catalog companies quite often. The sales person I dealt with was so upbeat and helpful it was almost a shock -- but a good one. The only problem I had with Zappos was that the pair of sandals I was first sent had been tried on and there were faint toe prints on the footbed. There was also a small flaw at the front edge of the footbed leather that might have allowed the cork padding to have been chipped more easily than it should be. I was disappointed. I called to return the pair and asked for a new pair. Zappos sent me the new pair overnight and trusted that I would return the pair I had, without charging me for a second pair (as other companies do) and waiting to credit me when the first pair arrived back at their shipping facility. I simply put the first pair of shoes out in the original packaging with a note to UPS. UPS picked up the first pair when they delivered the new pair -- the next day! Now that I know I can order a pair of shoes and receive them so fast, return them so easily and never pay for either shipping charge, I'm going to look at Zappos first when I'm ready to buy another pair of shoes! They have really made shoe shopping online as pleasant and as easy as it could possibly be. I am very impressed with my limited interaction with Zappos and I don't impress easily!

Wonderful shoes that have perfect arch support. I wore them for traveling in Europe and Asia and do not have to worry about blisters or back pain. Worth every penny!

The shoe is very comfortable, soft leather, and gives me excellent arch support for my history of plantar fasciitis. I now have 5 pairs of Mephistos. Zappos is also an excellent company to work with.

These are my favorite summer shoes! I hate to give them up for winter. They have a very good arch support which helps my back. I love them!! I wish they made a comparable cold weather shoe.

I have a heel spur so I have to be very picky when it comes to shoes, but these shoes are a winner. The are comfortable and easy to walk in. They are great!

Most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. Also the only sandal I've worn for at least 6 or 7 years. These are my 6th pair.

This is about the only shoe I wear anymore! I love these shoes because they feel so good on my feet and my back doesn't bother me as much after a day of working or shopping. Will continue to buy them when they wear out. The color on this shoe was not quite the same as the picture, but still love them!

I have had both feet operated on due to rheumatoid arthritis and have no flexibility in either foot. I tried numerous shoes and spent a lot of money with no satisfaction. I tried on the Mephisto Helen shoes that my friend owns and ordered a pair. I have been wearing them daily for approximately 2 weeks and I have to say they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I will be buying other styles.

This is my third pair of these wonderful, comfortable sandals. They adapt to most any width foot (mine's narrow), they have a good arch support, and they last seemingly forever. No wonder this style has lasted for ten years or more. These sandals are well worth the money!

Bought these for my mom & she loves them. I think they run a little narrow and I might order wide next time, if that is a choice.

I am now on my fourth pair of this shoe after having purchased the first pair 12 years ago. If I didn't live in the Mid-Atlantic and have a professional position I'd wear these all day, every day. I use them as bedroom slippers until it's too cold in my house. They're great when you need to be standing for a long time (like cooking Thanksgiving dinner!). I will buy this style of sandal and no other for as long Mephisto makes them.

Love, love, love these sandals. This is my third pair, great for long distance walking and long days at work. Zappos is my favorite website to order from!

I have been coveting my sister's pair for years, and am so happy to finally get these sandals! They're not the trendiest, but they are the most comfortable, and have a simple elegance. Great arch support, and super comfortable once broken in. I did have a day of blistering form the leather strap, but after that they have been fantastic.

I bought these after having hurt my back and before a trip to Europe. They made my back feel instantly better, and were perfect for long walks every day. I normally wear a 7-7.5 and bought the 38, which was perfect. The toe area seemed a bit narrow (my baby toe was over the edge) but after awhile, the shoes have flattened down and are a perfect fit. These are probably some of the most expensive shoes I have ever bought, but they are worth every penny. And Zappos, of course, made the whole transaction easy as pie.

This is a wonderful shoe for a broken foot. The customer service is outstanding as usual.

I've never been disappointed with Mephisto shoes and the Helen is no exception. Great fit; great comfort and support! And Zappos is the very best shoe store online!

This is my first purchase from Zappos. I saw the Ad and was amazed how detailed it was and that convinced me to order, other than that I could not find my brand and model anyplace else. By the way, I never buy from any company where the website is poorly designed and does not give any information about the product I am looking for. Your site did everything I wanted. My sandals, unfortunately do not come in my exact width, but that can not be changed. Your service and delivery were outstanding. I got my package the next day. Also, I saved money over retail. I could not be happier. Thanks.

Thongs usually hurt my feet but the leather in this model is fine. The sandals have good support and are attractive. My friends have several pairs.

I am very pleased with these sandals. I have another pair of Mephisto's which were recommended to me by my foot doctor to help me with foot pain in the arch of my right foot. They are very comfortable and make walking much easier for me.

Mephisto Helen is the most comfortable sandal I own. They help to relieve my joint and back pain. I even wear them for slippers year round. The adjustable straps are perfect for my odd shaped feet. I have a wide flat ball and narrow heel.

I recently purchased my 3rd pair of these sandals. I have been wearing them for several years. For everyday walking the comfort can\'t be beat. The bronze color goes with everything and they are very stylish. You won\'t go wrong with these shoes.

Love these shoes. They are very comfortable walking shoes. I did need to order a size larger than I normally wear, but other than that have been totally happy with the shoes.
