Perfect for casual outerwear that goes with all outfits from casual to anything not too formal. Super lightweight and comfortable.

I purchased this jacket for my 110lb 5'6" high school freshman son. He Loves this jacket. Which says a lot. The quality is excellent and as described on the website. He likes the lightweight feel and the move ability it offers him. We have 6 kids which means we bought 7 north face jackets this year ( I had to get one myself) all the jackets and snow board pants were excellent. Kudos to The North Face.

I bought this jacket as a gift for my brother. He loves it!! I'm very pleased that he was!

Casual

This is a great jacket suitable for spring or fall it is not lines so it is not as warm as the lined jackets the sell

Great jacket - fits perfect and is lightweight - easy to drive in.

This is a nice jacket, especially for the price. It works well as a fall/spring windbreaker, or as a layering piece in the winter - especially useful while shoveling snow, when you need to stay warm but don't want too much bulk. The color is a light gray that does not show dirt, and the jacket washes well.

Husband uses this for a jacket to wear to work and also just casual wear. He loves it!

Great can wear hoodie under it or a vest over it. Perfect for layering! It keeps out wind and water does not seep through.

Everyday use

This jacket has been perfect for sons basketball trips, we will be purchasing one a little heavier for all other winter time activities!

If you need a lightweight seasonal jacket this is for you. If you're looking for something with a little more structure and padding this is not for you. I can see how the ratings for this particular piece can vary so greatly depending on your needs and expectations. This jacket does not provide you with great warmth. There is no lining to it, if you want something warmer look at the Apex Bionic. Here is a comparison between this and a similar Arcteryx goo.gl/uN80tT you'll notice the Arceteryx outer shell is more dense, less stretch, and has a thin fleece layer on the inside. This has more stretch and is slightly lighter. Both are great jackets but this one is not a windstopper, however it works well in light weather and provides excellent movement.

My son lost his NorthFace jacket and missed it terribly. I ordered him a new one and it came in about a week and he's happy as a clam!

Love the style and how it looks

I bought this for my son.... He loves this jacket. It is so light weight yet warm. The fit is perfect and he can wear a hoodie underneath. It is so comfortable for all his outdoor activities.
