My dad always made sure I had a warm coat my entire childhood so I wanted to give him a Christmas gift that was of great quality to show my appreciation! He loves it! Thanks North Face for helping me repay my father for being such a great provider!

This is a casual jacket for me.

I wear this jacket for when I walk to my classes. It's very lightweight but it still provides warmth from the wind and temperature. A very jacket that goes well with everything and gets compliments. Will defintitely buy from North Face again!

I don't know what it is about teenagers that makes them so ridiculously obstinate about wearing a warm durable real winter coat (not a teens interpretation of what qualifies as a winter coat) during the bone-chilling months of late November, December, January, and February. Drive by any high school on school day mornings during the dead of winter (-25 or worse where I'm at) and you will see many kids wearing either NO jacket AT ALL or, at best, an unreasonably chosen coat with both sides flapping out like wings with the bone-chilling wind because zipping zippers, bundling up and warm winter coats are a BIG no no! OMG!! You MUST freeze, like frost-bit-eyeballs-stuck-looking-one-direction-and-toes-snapping-off-at-their-knuckles-and-ice-rink-in-your-sinuses-FREEZING, or be thrown in teen Azkaban!! You'll pray invisibility cloaks exist if you are 16 years old and caught warm and bundled in PROPER winter attire! Ah, but I digress! This Northface coat isn't a true winter coat by any parental standards, but it IS something to cover your stubborn kid's upper body during winter if they refuse (like mine does) to wear a quilty/poofy/warm/thick meant-for-winter coat. And something is better than nothing! This is excellent quality but meant for spring and fall weather. And it will work fabulously for exactly that type of weather. The high quality material will easily protect from rain and wind. Of course, it's Northface, so it's very stylish. Which brings me to the absurd conclusion and equally absurd advice, that when shopping for your teen's winter garb, ONLY style and NEVER warmth (stay far away if thicker than paper), is the perfect choice. Huh? I don't get it. Do you?

Bought for my son for Christmas, he loves it

This was a gift for my nephew. It was the exact one he asked for and it looks very good on him.

Customer service is FANTASTIC. My jacket was stolen before I got down to the mail room to pick it up. Customer service sent one out immediately. I wear this jack all the time. Here in the Northeast it works well in all types of weather. Between customer care and product quality. ITS GREAT.

I got this for my dad for Christmas and he loves it for work at a store in a cold town. It's a great addition to any lightweight shirt and definitely will keep him warm in the fall and when he is in and out of his store in the cold colorado winter.

I wear this jacket almost everyday in the winder and fall seasons. I am very pleased with the quality. I am very surprised that for as light and thin as this jacket is, It keeps me really warm, and I'm a freeze baby! I like the new windwall technology! i don't like that sometimes the zippers get stuck but that's rare.

Perfect gift. This jacket isn't too heavy and not too light. Works great in wind and the fit was perfect. Not something I would of bought myself but will definitely buy a second.
