Previously, I had written a review for these shoes and had commented that both pairs, the size 39 that I returned and the size 40 that I ordered to replace them, squeaked. I am happy to report that after wearing them around the house for an hour the the squeaking went away. I wore them all weekend, was on my feet all day and the squeaking did not return. To reiterate, as with other's previous reviews, these shoes do run small. I am typically a size 8 (38). I had read all the reviews commenting that this shoe runs small so I ordered 8½ (39), which were a perfect fit in bare feet/very thin socks. The 40 gave me just the right amount of wiggle room which was great as I was on my feet all day two days after receiving these.

This shoe is very comfortable for a person who is on her feet all day long. The toe portion of the shoe is slimmer and less boxy looking. The design pattern is just right. Thank you, Zappos, for helping me find the right shoe!

These are the most wonderful shoes! I love all of them and they are consistent in size. I am now the proud owner of three pairs and would get the others if I could afford it. I have the purple, the red and received the blue today. The thing is they are sized different so do what I did and they will fit. Go up one size! I usually wear a 40 but went up to a 42. In regular shoes I wear a 10 and a 40 in European sizes. These shoes are a 42 for me. When you first put them on it may be a struggle to get your heel in and the elastic gore on the side is new and tighter. When you wear them around for a while they relax and feel wonderful. I am 65 years old and have bad knees. I could walk all day in these and the other thing I like is being able to wear a 32 inseam because of the shoe height. I could never wear a regular heel in that height but due to the wide base they feel like a regular flatter shoe. Do not be afraid of color, the blue is lovely, the red is stunning and look so cute with slacks and jeans. The purple is a dusty subdued purple that goes great with denim. I truly recommend these shoes and this brand. And Zappos very speedy delivery. I just ordered yesterday and here they are on my feet today. Wow!

I love these shoes! They are so cute and very comfortable- a show stopper! I get comments whenever I wear them. And Zappos customer service was outstanding: I had to try a few times to get the right size but they were understanding and overnighted the next shoe. I ordered bigger, per the reviews, but ended up with my regular size.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I wear a 7.5 about 95 percent of the time. However, a 38 in these was too tight. 39 was a perfect fit. The color is beautiful.

I love my my Spring Step Burbank shoes. I got them in Red and they are beautiful and comfortable. Every time I wear them, I get tons of compliments. I wore them for several hours walking around town one evening and they felt great. The red is such a beautiful red and the design is fab.

Love most of spring steps and this one was a 5 star shoe. Did go up 1/2 a size according to reviews and glad I did. Soft leather and insole is fantastic. Worn right out of box to work and no problems. Nice shoe.

Beautiful and comfy with a very cushy insole (nice). I ended up going with the clog style. I'd say size 39 was about an 8 in the US.

These are about to be my favorite shoes of all time. I am a 10½ slightly but not exactly wide, and the 42 fits perfectly. The inner sole is extraordinarily comfortable. And they are drop-dead gorgeous. And the fact that I found them in purple makes me so happy that I could cry. Thanks for your patience with all those other pairs I ordered and returned, Zappos, because these were definitely meant to be my new shoes.

These shoes are even cuter than the picture, but the fit was a little uneven. Maybe its my feet that are not symmetrical, but one shoe fit fine, and the other was loose in the heel and snug in the toe box. There's a dreamy soft insole and a stretchy gusset for a good fit, but I can't have the heels flopping around at work. So I gave them a kiss and am sending them back.

Adorable shoes and nicely made -- I bought both red and navy. The sizing is definitely 'off' a bit. I have many Euro-sized shoes and they are all 36. I needed a 38 in this shoe. The heels slips slightly in the 38 but I prefer that over toes jammed in the 37. I'll adapt by wearing slightly thicker socks.

Other reviews stated that the size ran large, so I bought the next size. For me the size is true. The larger size is a half size too large.

Great shoes that are slip resistant even though they dont say it. I return the first pair get a size larger then your regular size. Zappos has excellent customer service free shipping and convenient returns. I did a even exchange but a larger size I mailed back my return on Saturday, receive my new larger pair on that Monday. I love professional convenient no hassel free shopping. Zappos will have my business for ever and I get so many compliments of my shoes I am going to get them in brown or black.

LOVE these shoes. So comfortable. Great support. And have great style. Own in black as well. Did order this particular style in size 41 whereas other styles wear 40.

SO cute. I really love this shoe. AND it's too small. I ordered a size larger, as recommended and still it's too small. Looks very well made and the leather is good. Still deciding whether to try another size up The leather will be soft when it's worn in. Just not sure that another size up will help with the narrowness (granted, I have wide feet).

I JUST LOVE THESE SHOES. Ok, June 2012, I ruptured a ligament and pulled a tendon in my foot. Here it is Jan 2013 and I am still out of work going through PT. I can't stand or walk for more than 2-3 hrs at a time without foot and leg pain. BUT with these shoes, at least I can b on my feet for 5-6 hrs with minimal pain. But my job won't let me work unless I can work 8 hrs continuously. THANK GOD FOR LTDI. I have paid a lot for other shoes (Algeria) to NO AVAIL. These shoes r a GODSEND. I don't know how I would b getting around without them. I will b ordering another pair. Oh I get compliments everywhere I go in these shoes.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! I am an RN and am on my feet a lot. These shoes are very comfortable. The inside cushion is unbelievable. I wore cross trainers or running shoes before I bought these because of my plantar fasciitis. These are the first pair of shoes that I bought for work in about seven years that don't resemble tennis shoes. It's nice to wear something comfortable and fashionable. I've gotten tons of compliments on the red ones (especially on Buckeye game days) and am ready to buy them in blue! :o)

Very comfortable. Nicer looking than picture. Definitely a winter shoe. Got some compliments. Wore them in hilly Italy and they were perfect

I'm crying..... These are amazingly comfortable but too short. I wear an 8, ordered an 8.5/39 and they were a little too short. I'm crying because the 40 is sold out. I think I could have lived happily ever after with this shoe. If they have your size, consider next size up otherwise you might be heartbroken like me. This is the absolute most comfortable shoe I've had on my feet in years!!!!!!

These run very small. I had to purchase a 10.5-11 women's size and they just fit with my full size orthotic, but were quite tight. I wear a size 10 in Skechers if that helps you to compare how snug these are.

Normally wear a 39; went with a 40 on these. A little tight with socks but perfect for socks or no socks. This is my second pair; bought another color earlier and love them so much I got another pair.

Fell in love with these red clogs. Too small and a larger size was unavailable so returned them.

This is like a clog; it doesn't stay tight on the heel. It's cute, but I want something more snug.

Tried these shoes a few times around the house. They would start to feel super tight within 5 mins! Cute but I have to return.

I love these clogs/shoes. Cute design and not hard to break in.
