After reading the reviews, I ordered these a half size larger than I normally take and the fit is perfect. They are lovely, soft leather and the burgundy color is gorgeous. Very comfortable, even with a bunion!

Based on a couple of other reviews, I went up 2 full European sizes (from 39 to 41, in US I'm ad 8.5 wide) and that was the perfect call. I would say this shoe runs 'European width' which I've found is closer to US wide than US normal, so consider that when judging width on this one. It DEFINITELY runs short/small otherwise. I almost never can wear a 41 in other brands, but I'm able to in this one, and without much extra space in the toe either. Great support. Love them.

I bought these shoes years ago in red. Full size larger than my size....love them. Bought blue slide in 2 different sizes and couldn't keep them on...too wide

This is my third pair. I love these shoes. I’m on my feet pretty much all day and provide great support.

Love this shoe. I have flat wide feet and these shoes give me the support I need. They are extremely comfortable and I can wear them for 12hrs. With no problem (I am a nurse). As mentioned in previous reviews order a size up from what you normally wear. I wear a 6 1/2 and got the 37 which was perfect!

This is my third pair. I originally purchased them because I was suffering from Plantar fasciitis. After wearing this shoe for a week my feet felt great. They are incredibly comfortable. I am on my feet a lot. I work in a hospital. These shoes are much lighter and way more comfortable than Danskos and Sanitas however they do not last as long. They usually run a bit on the narrow side but break in very quickly. This last pair was absolutely perfect in every way straight out of the box! Another plus is that they are just a really cute shoe. .

Very comfortable yet pretty. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. I have wide feet, high arches and bunyons. These shoes are exceptionally comfortable. Very buttery feel inside. A quality product.

At first sight, I thought these would be too small but they fit great. They even make my feet look smaller...comfortable too. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 37.

Based on the other reviews of the shoe running small, I purchased a larger size. The shoe was too big. I now realize that this is based on European shoe sizes. If you have ever bought a pair of Burkenstocks, use that shoe size. I had to return the larger shoes and purchase my regular size. It's a beautiful shoe. It doesn't run narrow.

Love the shoes once I found the right size, runs very small. Good support & comfort. Wore them right out of the box. Vicky

What a great shoe! This is actually my second pair; I have red ones from 2 years ago. They are attractive and comfortable. I spend up to nine hours per day on my feet on concrete; there are no other shoes I can wear all day without changing. They have a deep toe box which is essential to my comfort.

After reading the reviews, I ordered 1 size up. I am a size 9 (40), but ordered size 41and the first perfect. These shoes are very comfortabl, with no breaking in. Plus the style is fun. Just might order another color!

Love these shoes. I found the size to be actual. I usually take 39s and 39s fit great.

I have worn Danskos & Sanitas which are great also. I just got my new L' Artiste clogs they are super comfy! ! I just love how artistic they are. Love the leather, that means it's a great show! I would say they they fit like a glove. Oh, couldn't believe how lightweight they are.

These are the best shoes ever! I work in the OR & stand on my feet all day, 12 hour shifts. I feel like I am standing on pillows! They run small, almost a full size (normally wear 8.5, had to exchange for 9.5) — but worth every penny I spent. Highly recommend them! Super cute too!

Love this shoe but didn't see the recommendation to get a size larger than normal. Returning and ordering the larger size. Love Zappo's easy return policy.

Oh my goodness - these are the cutest shoes and exactly what I wanted. Didn't have any red shoes and fell in love with these as soon as I saw them. Have bought L'Artiste before and have always found them to be true to size and totally unique. I get so many compliments when I wear them and could not be happier.

Loved the look of this shoe. I usually wear Danskos because of the excellent arch support and these shoes had that. I usually wear 7.5-8 and 8.5 fit me perfectly. Unfortunately, the embossing on the left shoe was much darker than the right shoe. I actually ordered another pair hoping that the second pair would match. Nope. Same problem. I would have kept them for sure if I could get a match. They are really beautiful shoes.

These are very unique and beautiful shoes. I need to return them because I read the reviews and they scared me into ordering a size too big.. I wear a size 6.5 and got the 7.5-8. My foot slides out in the back of the shoe. I'm returning and will get the 6.5-7. They almost have a rocking motion as you walk. Nice cushioning in the footbed. Will look great in jeans this winter..

These were really cute and comfortable, but I may have sized up too much. I normally wear an 8.5/9, and the 41 were slipping off my feet. They are out of the black in 40 so I may be out of luck.

I own 3 pairs. I work on concrete floors and wear them for 8-9 hour shifts. I love them!!! I get the most compliments on the pair in red. They were comfortable the moment i put them on, no need to break them in. I wear a 7 - 7.5 and the size 38 is what fit. so they may run a tad small. So overall they are beautiful to look at and extremely comfortable. Zappo's are the best!

I work part-time at a quilt shop. The floors are concrete and I am on my feet all day. My feet were just as happy at the end of the day as when I started out. There was no break-in periond. Love these shoes. Will have to purchase these shoes in different colors.

Very good pair of shoes, approved by my chiropractor, as supporting my back and it helps maintain good posture. I highly recommend those shoes

Very cute, well made, and supportive--all in one! I ordered these shoes to replace a well worn pair of Ariat shoes that were never comfortable...So far, I love them! I had never heard of this brand and just happened upon the shoe while looking online on Zappos. Reviews were good, shoe was cute and unique. I loved the style and beautiful leather... I debated a long time regarding what size to order. I'm an 8.5 B generally, but always wear a size 9 in sneakers. I chose the 40 and it was perfect, happy I didn't go with the 41 as Zappos suggested to go up one full size. Size up a half size instead!
