These are very cute, nice soft leather, neat/clean workmanship. I had to make extra holes in them otherwise they are too loose. They are insanely uncomfortable and stiff though, especially in the back of the heel. It hurts to walk in them. I find that all Steve Madden shoes are very uncomfortable so I usually avoid them. These were just so cute that I got them anyway. For so much they should be able to make something that does not require extra holes and feels comfortable. A more flexible sole would help. I hope they break in decently after a while. I do like the look.

I was really excited about these boots when i ordered them, but when i received them they were at least one full size too small, i ordered an 8.5 which is what i usually wear and i could barely get my foot in them. i did like the slouchyness of them, some reviews had said they were too slouchy, but they are loose fitting boots. zappos did not have a 9 or 9.5 for me to try in these boots, so i had to straight up return them, sad

I am usually a 6 to 7 in boots. I ordered a 6.5 and I couldn't even get them on. They look a little cheap also. I want to try again for the brown pair.

I love the look and style of these, but have to return them because I'm not sure they can ever fit. I read all the reviews and ordered up one full size. I shouldn't have. This boot is true to size in the foot, so at one size up, it literally flopped on my heel as I walked just halfway across the room. As far as the fit on the calf goes, yes it's a pull-on and yes, it's supposed to slop a bit. But at a size larger, I needed to cinch the ankle strap a full run tighter around, which it's not meant to do. I'm almost afraid to try my proper size because I fear that the "slop" in the calf and ankle is too much. But they're really cool. I'm undecided whether I'll try my size. No idea how the width and arch support are. My relationship with the boot didn't progress that far.

Super cute in picture, but sent them back because they were too floppy. Even with buckles at tightest, they hit each other when I walked. Cute looking but just not practical for all day wear, in my opinion.

Not what I expected the shoes look nice in the website; however, they were very uncomfortable, too hard.

Looked so cute in the photo, but were kind of cheap in person. The black came off in my hands as I was putting the boots on. Bummed - they were comfortable but really cheaply made.

I bought the black pair but boot heel is NOT like shown. It is black, not brown. Plus the leather was way too nubby (much more than photo). The straps are too long without enough holes. I am returning.

These boots are absolutely great! they are true to your size, very comfortable right out of the box, the leather and quality of this boot is superb and pairs well with skinny jeans, leggings and spanx and lulelemons , I get so many compliments when I wear these, they are a true motorcycle looking boot if you are looking for that look. I recommend these boots highly, You better be able to stand the smell of true nappa leather because when you wear these boots the leather smell exudes when you are in close spaces such as a car or in a small room where the people around you can also smell the distinct leather smell but it goes away after you wear the boot a few times . I love these boots, I debated after looking at them a few times because of the price but they are truly worth it, I got mine weatherproofed by a local shoemaker (just sprayed) as I didnt want the boot to get any water marks or snow lines (white line when the boot was worn in rain or snow) and I highly recommend that too as you dont want the nappa leather on this boot to get ruined. It cost me only $10.00 to waterproof them from shoemaker which put me at ease if I wear in rain, but you can probably purchase a good waterproof spray yourself and do yourself but if you want it evenly done and not change the color of the boot I recommend getting it waterproofed by your local and trusted shoemaker as you dont want this boot to get water marks if you wear in rain or snow. The buckles on the boot are easy to do and undo as I seen some reviews mention the buckles no functionable but they are I put my buckles on the last hole or you can have shoemaker punch holes in the leather for you to accomodate you size but I wear an 8 M and these were fine for me and the boots look slouchy around the ankle lower calf when the boots are buckled on the last hole of the buckles . If you are thinking about purchasing these boots, I say buy you will have no worries and be glad you did!!!!

I absolutely love these boots! They are made from soft leather, and very comfortable. They run true to size. I am small and petite and I did not need to adjust the straps at all! They look great with pants, shorts, and skirts.

I love this pair of boots! I was really happy when I opened the box; they are amazing. Sadly they fit me just right; I need them a half size bigger because I will be using them in the winter time. The website does not have them right now but I hope they do soon!

These boots are amazing! They are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever put on my feet! I absolutely love them! They are very soft and not tight around the leg, may feel loose and sloppy to some, but the strap can be tightened, or even extra holes poked in to tighten more. Arch support is moderate to good. They are a bit too tight in the width to add a full foot orthodic but could add a heel support if needed. I wear these with denim shorts or a short skirt and they look fabulous. Can wear with jeans too, etc. Zappos customer service is excellent also!

I love these boots! They are super soft, comfortable and easy to wear all day long. I thought the straps were fine, I just tightened to the last hole. I bought them before they went on sale and then found out I could get them for the sale. I would have paid full price. The leather smells great and the quality looks like they would be more expensive.

These boots are adorable! They are beautiful, stylish and fun. The sole is hard, not to cushy, so I gave the comfort a 4. Also, I have small calves so I have to tighten the upper band tighter than the holes given. But it works and I love them.

I thought about these long and hard before buying and it was totally worth it! I've worn the boots a ton already and have received many compliments. I thought they fit true to size and haven't found them to be too slouchy like others. A bonus and they smell amazing!

I wanted a pair of slouchy, pull-on, low-heeled, black boots. These are interesting in that they're reasonably comfortable, well-made, and fit well, but some of the design elements are a little odd. In the pictures it's not super obvious that the buckles are just really loose and flop all over. You can't cinch the buckle without losing the pull-on feature. And, at least for me, I can't tighten the buckle without needing to puncture new holes. I like it- it reminds me a bit of the 90s look of wearing suspenders hanging down instead of over your shoulders- but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. They're a little narrow in the toes, which is surprising for someone who wears a 5.5 and I'll probably put a cushioning insole in, but so far they've held up nicely on strolls. The buckles across the toes are functional so you can adjust there, which is great.

Love the style. Purchased them in black. I am a size 11 in most shoes, but decided to order these in a 10. Fits a bit snug, but I am going to order my next pair a size bigger.

I got these boots right at the end of the season and I loved them when I first got them! You would think that since the buckles are loose and the tough is flappy that they would just fall apart, but they didn't one bit! I purchased the lightest color which I thought was like a white but it was more of a gray, and I don't wear a lot of gray so it was sometimes hard for me to find an outfit to wear them with but I overall like them a lot!

Despite multiple reviews that recommended getting a full size up, I found it to be way too large. Am exchanging to try my actual size.

These are comfortable boots, true to size, but a little more sloppy looking when wearing than I thought they would be. I've already worn them so am not able to return them.

Cool looking boot with soft leather and a sturdy foot bed. Overall fits larger than usual especially since there are no zippers and the straps are quite loose. It does help to punch in extra holes and shorten the strap length for a more secure feel, yet, the design allows the boot to be folded and convertible to more of an ankle length vs. mid-calf. I'm surprised at the comfort level of this shoe. I haven't needed to put in an extra insole or padding and have been able to stand and walk in them for my 6-8hr workdays. I usually wear a 7.5, but the 7 fits more comfortably. Unusual, since I normally have to size up in Steve Madden's.

Beautiful boot, terrible sizing. I got a size ten but felt like a 7. I couldn't even get my foot past the ankle.

Fit was great. I love all of my Steve Madden shoes. My only complaint with this one is that the shoes I received DID NOT have the worn heel or sole. It’s black like the rest of the boot. A problem that should be fixed as the video on this boot with this color shows a worn heel and even stresses that being a favorite quality. I’m disappointed with that but not enough to go through the return process. I’ll eventually wear them until they’re for real worn. Also, as someone with a calf that’s bigger than their forearm, it can be difficult to find cute boots that don’t look suffocating. These are nice and loose and slouchy in the shaft which makes for a comfortable fit as well as a fun look.

Steve Madden boots - 5 stars for style / 2 stars for walking comfort - awesome with leggings or skinny jeans & slouchy socks. I sometimes wear them up, sometimes fold the whole boot over (not how you are supposed to wear them but looks cool). Disappointed for walking comfort. They seemed comfortable at first, but after walking some distance I discovered the heel is too wide and the strappy design is positioned wrong to strap tightly & keep heel in place. The sole is very stiff and made from a vintage-type last, so the toes point upward. Walking any distance my heel sloshes around and I get a toe cramp! Hopefully I can find some kind of heel pad or something because the whole point of buying flats is walking in them.
