I love love love these boots. They are of great quality and very comfy once you get your sizing right. I normally wear a 6.5-7, these run pretty small, I had to go up to a 7.5 for a good fit. Some reviews talk about the heal sliding. You just have to wear them a little bit for them to form to your heal. I've no problems with them. You can also tighten the strap on the bottom to help with that a little. Put foot in first then tighten it or you won't be able to get your foot in. I would buy these in all colors if I could afford them. Thank you to Zappos for being so patient with me on my journey to find the perfect boots. I've bought and returned so many, but it's hard to get sizing right when you can't try on first. Western style boots seem to be all over the place in sizing. Again, thank you Zappos. Your customer service is 2nd to none.

These may be a little tough to slide into, but once they’re on, oh my do they feel good! I was clomping all over the house! They look so cute with a hippy style dress, with fitted jeans and even with shorts! I put on a T-shirt and a little caftan and cute cute cute! And the smell of that oiled leather is divine! I love Frye boots! I love that they flop a little on top too; makes the legs look shapely! Highly recommend!

I’m a size 9 and bought a 9 and I love the fit. I read a review that mentioned undoing the ankle buckle to get in and out of them and that made them super easy to get into and gave me a better fit once I was walking in them. I love the heel height and I have a bothersome bunion that does not bother me in these boots. I’m very happy with this purchase, especially buying them on sale!

Love these boots! Originally ordered 9.5 my true size but they were too small. Returned for a 10 and perfect.

I am a Frye fan for many years. These are great, a new shade on a trusted style. These are light weight which was unexpected but wonderful. Wore them all day just out of the box!

I normally wear a size 9 but I went with a half size smaller and they fit perfectly. I do have a wide foot with a really small heal but I am not getting the slippage that some are experiencing. I am wearing them with a thin sock for now to break them in a little, but they are long enough for me to wear with thicker socks. The leather is soft and the smoke color is a dark brown with a bit of a gray tone. When I wear these with brown tights the gray is more noticeable. I love the look with dresses or jeans. I was wearing them on a really cold morning and had the heater cranked up in my truck. The smell of leather from these boots was wonderful. I felt like I was in a saddle shop! Zero complaints.

I bought these for my mom for Christmas. She absolutely loves Frye wear and the boots surprised her! The color is gorgeous with jeans and the size is true to fit. Initially they will feel tight toward the middle of the foot but she wore them for a couple of hours and they started to stretch, making it a perfect fit!

I am a huge Frye fan, probably because I have very narrow feet. Yes, the boot has some heal slippage, but it should, and as others note, the more you wear it, the more it will shape to your foot. And I can’t complain, my heals slip in socks! I am just on the border of 8.5 and 9, and the 9 was definitely the right size. They look fantastic and were comfortable from day 1. They are substantial, so they may seem a bit heavy, but you get used to it. The color, however, is the star of the show for me. One of my favorite boots of all time, simply for that!

I loved the look and color, exactly like the picture. But I wear between an 8 1/2 and 9 in shoes. I ordered the 8 1/2 and they were so tight I could hardly get my foot in. So unfortunately I had to send them back and order a 9. Hopefully they fit.

Love these boots - very cool and the color is beautiful! They need to break in a bit to be super comfortable but all of my Frye boots have been like that and it’s worth it!

They were perfect. I wear them all day and my feet don’t get tired. I love them.
