I developed plantar fasciitis, went the podiatrist route with custom orthotics and my feet still hurt. I tried the inserts seen on tv and several other brands and my feet still hurt. Surgery was recommended. I discovered Birkenstock sandals and my feet stopped hurting. i tried these inserts when it got too cold to wear sandals and they work too. I have no trouble fitting them in any of my shoes. It's been over 5 years now and I have not had a recurrence of the plantar fasciitis. These conform to support my high arch and fit my small feet. These worked for me when many other brands did not, I bet they will work for you too.

I wear 40 in the Boston clog and 39 in the Mayari and sandals. Based on another review, I went with the 40, which was too big. At first glance it fit my foot, and fit inside my shoe, but the placement of the arch was too far forward and so it just felt awkward and not supportive. So don't necessarily size up; I would recommend getting a couple different sizes so you can really figure out which one is most comfortable. Also, I was worried because I always buy narrow; in Birkenstock and these were medium but they fit fine in my Brooks Addiction tennis shoes (size 8.5) and Mountrek Lisa boots (size 8; excellent walking boots for troubled heels and arches!).
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, Mountrek winter boots, and Birkenstock are the only shoes I wear!

This is my dream come true. I always wanted Birk footbeds for my boots. I cannot fit the plastic part in with the cork part but the cork part is what really helps hold your arch up and has a deep heel cup. They are awesome for high arches and people whose feet only feel heavenly in a Birkenstock but that want to wear other style shoes!

Phenomenal for flat feet fallen arches. Better support than Superfeet. Have them in my duty boots, cowboy boots, running shoes. Heck I love them so much I just ordered a pair of sandals. PAIN FREE at last

These are FABULOUS! I opted to try these arch supports before getting custom orthotics which are expensive I love Birkenstock sandals, so how could these not be great? They are great! Word of caution: I thought I would just get the same size as the Birkenstock shoes I wear. Wrong! Get the next size up. In other words, I usually wear a 39. I ordered a 39 and they were too small. I returned them (hassle free of course!) and got size 40. Perfect fit. Thanks, Zappos!

I have flat feet and these inserts are great for preventing pain when on your feet all day. I can fit them in my boots, sneakers, but not really any smaller shoes. Definitely would recommend these!

The raised area that goes underneath your toes is not as hard as those found in a Birkenstock shoe. These didn't work for me sadly. I thought I had found the answer to the pain under my toes by using a Birk insole. The quest continues!

These are absolutely perfect. They completely put a stop to my Morton's neuroma while cycling.

I wear a size 36 in Birkenstocks so ordered 36 in the insole. Heel cup and arch support are spot on. The blue liner is a tad short (1/4") at the toe in my sneakers but just right in my hiking boots. I'm not sure it would work to order a size up to get length in the blue liner without compromising where the cork arch support hits my foot. But it fits in all my shoes (some are snug). For the sneakers, I use the sneaker liner over the cork heel cup, rather than the blue liner and it works fine. I supinate/ underpronate and this keeps my foot and heel stable. No heel, metatarsil or knee pain since I have been using these.

While the heel cup is nice, the blue insert is no better than cutting a piece of cardboard to put in your shoe. The pic is misleading. It is thin and has zero padding and in the pic it appears to have this awesome arch support, but it isn't rigid or supportive - it just flattens out when you put your foot on it. Not worth the $$. Zero neuroma relief for me.

I just bought my second pair of these because I love them. My foot tendons tend to get aches and pains unless I wear Birkenstocks, and these liners expand my footwear options. I tried sizing up based on reviews, but found that my usual size (38) for Birkenstocks worked best. The blue part is not super cushion-y, so if you want more cushion, you might want to try getting the cork heel separately (or just use the cork part with your athletic shoe's insole).

I've been having forefoot pain because I've lost my forefoot arch (another joy of getting older). These are one of the few shoe inserts that actually has a metatarsal arch. I used them on a nine-mile hike today and my feet don't hurt. Very happy. I'm actually on the website to order another pain for my running shoes. They are expensive though.
I'd also recommend:
Altra shoes and Alegria (both very wide in the forefoot)

This insole almost worked for me. The Birkenstock footbed is always comfortable, but the blue cover is not padded at all, and I need some padding under my bony feet. If it had been padded, it would have been perfect.

I’m super happy with this purchase- I wear size 40 in the Arizona and 41 narrow in the Bostonian closed toe- I bought this insert in the 41 (mainly because they were out of the 40) I have a few shoes I bought in Mens size 9 because they were on sale but they are a little too big- I slipped these in and they worked like a charm and so dang comfortable. I need more support on my right foot due to a bunion. Even the On Cloud sneaker hurts my foot after 20 minutes of walking. I slipped this in and now the On Cloud is the worlds most perfect shoe! I plan to buy more of these Birkenstock inserts as soon as they get more in stock!

These work for me. I was having foot pain when hiking or walking due to bone changes from bunions. My feet were comfortable in Birkenstock sandals or clogs so I thought I would try these inserts. They position my heel, support my high arch, and keep me from putting too much pressure on my toes. I use the size 41 inserts for my size 10 women's hiking boots as well as my size 9.5 running shoes. I remove the original insole in the boots/shoes and the 2-piece Birkenstock Sport Arch Supports fit very well. I walk comfortably with these and am very pleased.

This insole has great arch support but as has been mentioned before the raised metatarsal appearance merely represents a hollow shell. I used an adhesive metatarsal pad and filled in the area where I needed metatarsal support and that has worked well. My favorite insole.

These give me the support I need, all the way down to my toes (with the metatarsal bar) and go in all of my running/walking/working shoes. Of course, they are ridiculously expensive, but they are my feet after all. I've never put them in dress shoes. I can't believe I have to rate the style of a shoe insert. There is no style.
I'd also recommend:
Altra. Hoka One. Alegria. Super wide toe box for duck feet like mine.

Excellent insoles! I cannot underline the difference of the comfort and bridge support. Other insoles are good, but they usually don't last, start becoming soft and begin to hurt. Is a perfect insole for someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis.

These insoles are excellent. They provide both firm arch support and cushioning. I removed the manufacturer's insoles from my New Balance training shoes and my Footjoy golf shoes and replaced them with these. I have fallen arches and Morton's neuroma, so these are a big help. I bought several pair to make it easier for me to always have them when I need them.

I really wanted to make these work in my walking/running shoes due to my plantar fasciitis, but I just don't think you can attempt to put a cork footbed into a shoe with a lot of its own padding and hope to create a running Birkenstock...

Not like my Birkenstock shoes. I really wanted these to work in order to save a pair of boots that need more support. My Birk shoes are great, so I hoped these would be like wearing those but in my boots. However either the material is harder or the shape is different because these felt like I was walking on tennis balls under my arches.

Ordered Birko Sport Arch Support, size 44, same size as my other Birkenstocks. They were 1/2” shorter than my Berkies, they actually fit inside my Berks and came up short. The toe grip ridge distance, from heel to ridge was a good 1/2” shorter than my Berks. These insoles need a complete remake. Very disappointed.

Fit perfectly in my work boots. The characteristic Birkenstock arch support hit exactly in the right part of my arch. I was worried the two pieces ( cork heel cup & foam insole) would slide apart inside my boots, but they stayed put just fine, even after a hard day of pulling pallets and kicking them into place.
I haven't noticed how they handle moisture (my nice way of saying foot sweat) yet, though I don't have any complaints so far.
They add Birkenstock sandal-level comfort, arch support, and heel support to my heavy work boots.
I'm very happy with them so far.

These insoles have saved my last two pairs of sneakers, different brands. I had read the reviews by people with feet that might be even worse than mine (hard to believe, I know), and thought I'd give them a try. They make my big, multi-problem feet feel... good! I'm about to order another pair, so I don't have to switch them from one pair to another. Then I'm going to go for a walk!
