My feet have been through the wringer. With a distal osteotomy and torn ligament on one foot and plantar fasciitis and a bone spur on the other, I cannot tolerate any shoes but Birkenstocks. Based upon other reviews, I thought these inserts would be a good alternative to the custom orthotics that I was told to get and enable me to wear something other than Birks sandals all winter. They did not work for me in my running shoes because, apparently, those shoes just will not work for me. But once I put them in god awful looking orthopedic tennis shoes, I was good to go. Like all Birkenstocks cork products, it is taking awhile to break them in and get them to be super comfy but I expected that to be the case. After about a month, they are starting to get that feel that I enjoy from all of my Birkenstocks shoes. I am pleased with the combination of these insoles and my special shoes and am even able to start jogging again. That's pretty huge considering that I couldn't even walk to the end of our driveway without too much pain a year ago! The only disappointment is that I cannot fit the insoles and my foot into my tighter fitting boots at the same time. I wish the cork extended all the way through the toe bar portion of the insole for a total Birkenstocks feel and support.

These are great! Fit well in my Keen sport shoes and provide excellent support. Worth the price. Easy to change into other shoes.

I've only had these for a couple of weeks, but so far they feel great. It's nice to be able to put these insoles in non-Birkenstocks shoes and feel the comfort of Birkenstocks! I ordered the same size insoles that I order in Birkenstocks Boston shoes, and they feel the same. I typically wear a size 8 shoe and a size 38 in Birkenstocks.

These inserts are wonderful! Now I can wear shoes that I couldn't before (in some shoes I had to forcefully rip out the glued in factory insert to get these to fit, but Well Worth the effort!)

I have Morton's neuroma. These are more comfortable than the custom orthotics I had made through my podiatrist. No discomfort at all when taking my four-mile daily morning walk.

Gives me the support I need in non Birkenstock shoes. Great since I can not go without arch support.

I wear a 37N is the birkenstock Amsterdam and a 37regular in the birkenstock Gizeh. I bought the 37N in the sport insole specifically to use in flat sneakers, in doc martens and in barbour wellies. It fits snugly into my 37 Lanvin sneaker when I removed the lanvin insole (the sneaker is both shorter and wider than, for example, a 37 converse) and the insole gives me more support. It enables me to walk and stand in a flat soled sneaker, but, as it’s a sport model, it would be too big for a ballet flat. In comparison to other Birkenstock insoles, I also like the blue Birkenstock insole (don’t see much difference btwn 37N and 37 regular in the blue — I have both. But, I bought the sport because sometimes the blue insole slips. I also have the cork insole, but that makes my shoes a bit too snug. I have a moderately wide foot, between a B and C, and am a 37.5 in designers like Manolo and louboutin, a 37 in Prada, stuart weitzman, Cole Haan and UGG. In doc martens, I take a 5 because the 4.5 was too short. I have a medium to high arch.

These work better than the custom orthotics from the doc. They have reversed pain from serious over pronation. I ordered a second pair. No more leg pains.

These insoles are great! Like wearing my favorite Birk sandals inside my closed-toe shoes, they have great arch support while still being soft enough to cushion my arthritic knees. Wish I could afford to put a pair in every shoe I own.

I suffer with a neuroma and have pain with every shoe except Birkenstocks. This is great except sometimes you just need to wear dressier shoes or sneakers. I can wear just about every pair of shoes that I own and have comfort by using these inserts, they have changed my life.

At first they seemed bulky. After wearing them in my sneaks for a few days, they have worked in. I have absolutely no pain in the ball of my foot. I will now try them in other shoes.

I'm so thrilled I found these! I love Birkenstock sandals and wear them all summer. Come the winter, however, there's a problem since I find the closed shoes to be a little too short for comfort. Having these Birk innersoles renders other brands equally comfortable. They don't fit all shoes but when they do, it's wonderful. It seems that the little ridge just behind the toes makes all the difference in the world. I'm going to have a pair with me whenever I try on new shoes!

These are inserts are awesome for those neuroma sufferers! Before I purchased the inserts, I bought customized orthotics from my podiatrist for $300. Tried to work it after 3 different fittings but never felt right. Then I found these online and boy are they worth every penny. I use these insert in my running shoes and now I'm able to run/hike without pain. It supports my high arches and relieves the pain between the 3rd and 4th toes. Without exaggeration, when I wear these inserts all the pain goes away. I highly highly recommend them!

I had some trouble keeping the two pieces together. It felt fairly comfortable, but only in some shoes. Because I have a bunion, my big toe did not want to stay in the specific spot designed for it. So unfortunately I had to return them.

Following advice in some reviews, I ordered a size up from my usual in Birks. Turned out to be too long, although width was fine even though I take an R. Very firm arch support, which I wanted, but under-toe support ridge was disappointingly flimsy.

I was looking to have a 'Birkenstock Shape' insole for my cycling shoes and while these say Birkenstock they do not fit like the sandals. Unfortunately with insoles they need to be cut to fit in a given shoe making returning them impossible if they don't work out so $70 down the drain. Also the foam top I feel is conducive to forming hot spots as opposed to a fabric or leather top, which is not good in a cycling shoe.

I love Birkenstocks but these arch supports did not seem to give me the same support. I ordered the size I would wear in their shoes but they were significantly shorter than my athletic shoes and my toes would be hanging off the end. I had to send these back unfortunately.

Im a serial birkenstock wearer, but needed a more formal show for work. This insert fits perfectly and gives me my birky feel!

I put these in my Blundstone boots, and I now have a perfect fit! The arch support is just right, and my feet don’t slide around. These insoles are not cushioned- I can feel the ground under my feet, which like. If you’re looking for a soft insert you might not like these.

Love Birkenstock shoes and had no idea they made insoles like this.
