Purchased these for my husband and he LOVES them! Very comfortable and they still look and feel great after several months wear (and he wears them daily, as he doesn't like bare feet!)

Firm and substantial instep is perfect for my plantar fasciitis. Really warm too! I've very happy with this purchase.

Bought these as house slippers to wear without socks. Normally wear 8.5 US; these shoes felt a bit "deep"...sides come up higher on my ankle than most shoes. Prefer natural materials which breathe....and wanted lots of cushioning for after long day on my feet at work so I added a foam insole under the one that came with the shoe and all is good!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!! I bought them to wear as slippers but I can't take them off!

Wanted to love this otherwise comfortable winter shoe but the extra long top panel caused difficulty with socks. The top of the shoe pulled the sock tight around my toes so they were bound as if in pointy high heels. If not for the price, I would try clipping the elastic gusset, as someone suggested. Kept their slippers which arrived with same order. Otherwise beautifully made. Will try the brand again.

I love these slippers. They support my feet. They are warm and comfortable. They are exactly what I wanted!

I have just bought my second pair as the first just wore out after 3 years of wearing them inside and outside in the backyard, weather permitting. The woolen seams have just given out. I just can't speak highly enough about his slipper. The arch support is just phenomenal for my feet. They are extremely comfortable and lightweight at the same time. I kept the inserts from the old pair as they are still great and I am using them in another pair of shoes. I will always purchase this slipper.

Purchased these and 3 other pairs of shoes for my dad. He has neuropathy and swollen ankles as a result of chemo. These were his favorite of the options easy to get on and off, stable and look enough like a shoe to wear to his doctor visits.

These are great but run huge!

Was super excited to get these. But after receiving them they were too big, the backs were slipping already and I knew they would stretch over time.

When I first tried on, had to use a shoe horn they felt very tight. Now a few days later with socks, they are slipping in the heel. I am going to keep them because except for the heel they are very comfortable shoes ,if they slip too bad I will buy the heel inserts. I love the material and the great support.

The shoes at first felt tight however in just a few days they loosened up and feel now comfortable. I wear them mostly without sock for these shoes keep my feet warm enough. I have worn Giesswein slippers before and I liked them so much that when I wore them out I ordered these Giesswein Innsbruck slippers.

I wore these at first as house shoes, but I managed to forget they were on my feet and wore them out to run errands. Now they’re a stylish shoe for dry cool days. I admit the sole is a firm material and a little noisy for wood floors.

I used to get heel pain from my old slippers. Podiatrist said I had heel spurs and needed good arch support. I used insert for a while, but these slippers do the job.

They were a bit clunky so I returned them!

These house shoes (too heavy to be called slippers) had decent support, but the weight was too much for me. I'd also prefer a wool-covered insole. They did slip a lot on my narrow heel too.

I am size M8 in shoes, and ordered M40 and M41 as I was unsure of the fit. I picked the M41 so I could wear socks with these. The M41 was most comfortable, especially with the cork bed arch support. If you like the cork beds in the Burkenstocks (sp?), you will like these. I also like the elastic whats-a-ma-call-it that secures the fit. Got them in now. You get what you pay for ;-)

soles make it unexpectedly heavy. The back of the shoe tends to rub, because design made top not stretchy and it digs in.

I wanted to like this pair of slippers because I wanted a pair I could step into, but they are too wide at the heal, so the back of my foot came all the way out each step I took.

These are great shoes for plantar fasciitis! They provide great arch support. I usually wear Birkenstocks and was looking for something with similar support but a change of style and these did the trick. I think they are even more comfortable than the Birks. I thought that I might be able to wear them outside but after wearing them they definitely have the look of slippers. They are perfect for my sore feet at home.

These slippers are nicely made, however the arch support is too much for my hubby and they hurt his feet...sadly he had to wear them to find out so they are not returnable. :( Always fast shipping with Zappos and good customer service!

I wear a 10/10.5 US for everything except slippers. Since the majority of folks said these ran large, I went with a 42 (9 US), and there is still a little more wiggle room than I'd like, but I just can't imagine squeezing my feet into a size 8. All that aside, they look great and feel amazing!

More like shoes than slippers. I had a pair by Giesswein that lasted years so I thought to go with them again. With the limited availability i ended up with this style. The sole & Insole are more like shoes. The material is why they are slippers, the felted wool wears a bit nubby so they are not really shoe like. But many pajama people would wear these to the market.

These were as cute as I wanted them to be and fit me better than any shoe I've ever tried in a long time. 40 minutes just in the house and my feet and knees were aching. I felt like I had a slab of rock on my foot. The wool is true...very hot feet. They are packaged for return.
