I had Giesswein slippers before and I liked them except they were worn out and were just a little too large (size 37) therefore I wanted a slipper with a back. As it turns out the size 37 was also too large therefore I am returning them and I ordered a size 36.

Fit was very good. good toe room.

So comfy! One of those magical moments when you slip on a shoe for the first time and it not only fits great, but is amazingly comfortable. I look forward to bringing my love for indoor slippers into my outdoor life as well.

I am on my 4th pair of these super comfortable, supportive slippers. I spend more on these than on my regular shoes and they make me feet feel ten times better. I will say that the sizing and the arch support of these slippers has changed between the last time I purchased a pair, roughly 3 years ago, and my most recent purchase. Where I used to buy a 36 in these I had to send the 36 back and go with 37. As I wear a US size 6.5 or 7 I would say these now run pretty true to size, whereas in the past they definitely ran a full size large. The arch support is still better than average but not quite what it used to be. Given the price tag I wish they lasted a little longer than 3 years, but I do wear them an awful lot.

These are incredibly comfortable and attractive shoes. I have some major foot issues (including pseudo hammer toes) in addition to a wide foot. Finding comfortable footwear is never easy. I ordered these in the size suggested by Zappos (38 - which frequently fits), but after reading the Innsbruck reviews, I also ordered a 39. The 39 fits perfectly, and the 38 was a bit too snug/short, so it's going back. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I really have a problem keeping my feet out of these. Put on a pair of socks and they fit perfectly. In bare feet, they’re a smidge loose so no speed-walking or pivots. My arthritic knees and ice cold toes are thrilled!

All is good! I've bought this brand and model before; took several years to wear them out! Great slippers!

These are a nice, wide, comfy slipper. The insoles that come with them had too much arch support for me out of the box. I gave them over a week of daily wear and my feet were aching. I have since replaced the insoles with 4 mm flat memory foam along with a 4 mm flat wool layer, and they are absolutely perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these slippers, I would just be prepared to make some adjustments if you aren't used to a lot of arch support.

These have a fairly pronounced arch support. If you aren't used to this, these will feel somewhat uncomfortable at first. They slip on easily, the wool is nice and comfortable. These are good house shoes for those remotely working from home.

These shoes felt amazing the second I put them on! I've been wearing them for a few weeks now, and they're still incredibly comfortable and supportive. I was hesitant to order these because of the price, but they are worth every penny!

These are super-comfortable, and I'm happy to have purchased them. The price is a bit excessive, but they do appear to be well-constructed, and with work-at-home, I justified the cost since I wear them to the "office" :-) One challenge I found was in sizing: they were a full two-sizes small. I generally wear a 43, which I first purchased. Returned them for a 44; once again too small. So I found myself comfortable with a 45. Go figure.

Just received these today. Was concerned about the size. I typically wear 10D in dress shoes and casual shoes; normally 9 in work boots. I ordered the 43 and the fit is perfect. I also appreciate the great arch support. I usually have to buy inserts for the extra support, but don’t believe that’ll be necessary with these. It’s a very sturdy house shoe; should be fine for errands and driving, too.

All my feet wanted were slipper shoes. These are the perfect run around slipper shoes. Arch support, awesome. Width, perfect for someone with bunions. Warmth, great for a Minnesota mild 35s day, but probably too warm for summer (but that's like two months out of the year here). Style, well they're no Fluvogs, but my grandma's not confusing them for her shoes either. So I call that a style win. I will always have a pair of these on hand for as long as I can walk.

I bought these slippers for my husband over a year ago. He needed something with good arch support and comfort. He loves these slippers and has been using them for outdoor use as well so we ordered another pair for indoor use only. He will never wear any other brand and these slippers last forever.

These shoes are THE BEST shoes to wear in the house or going outside for a quick walk. I've been looking for a shoe that doesn't feel like it's weight on my foot, but also feels like it won't slip off and these ones are the perfect match! The sleek look of the shoe also is a huge plus because it makes my foot look smaller than it actually is! GREAT ARCH SUPPORT!

Very comfortable and great support for my plantar fasciitis. They are expensive so I hope they last. I only gave 3 stars for style cuz they are quite chunky looking but they are house slippers, so chunky matches everything!

These shoes have a lot of arch support. Many shoes claim to have arch support, but these really do. The squared toe is nice and roomy, also. Worth the extra money if you plan to wear them for any length of time.

Best shoe/slipper ever!!

Got these for my son who has painful flat feet. He loves these slippers. Also bought a pair for my husband and he says they are the best slippers he has ever had. They have great support.

Most excellent value of all my shoes. Its really a cross between a comfortable indoor slipper, but with a solid sole that permits outdoor wear.

Comfortable, casual, and good quality. A nice pair of slippers that can be worn out of the house (visit friends/family and run errands around town) without looking unkept. These slippers have been put to the test and travelled more snow and dirt that any "house" slipper ever should but have held up very well. Most importantly they have a supportive sole and arch- which help to keep knee pain at bay.

These slippers are simply superb! I just purchased my third pair of Geisswein Innsbruck slippers. I know some folks wear them as shoes, but I wear them exclusively as slippers. I am diabetic, and my feet are somewhat sensitive because of a severe bunion on one foot and a mild bunion on the other. My podiatrist has instructed me to never go barefoot. While expensive, these slippers are great. Each pair lasts me a bit over 2 years, wearing them an average of 6-8 hours per day. They offer superior arch support, are exceedingly comfortable and breathable, and the resilient soles make them suitable for short outdoor jaunts to the mailbox, garage or back patio. They look great on the outside for their entire 2+ years of their life, and it's really wear on the interior of the shoe that determines their end-of-life. These slippers are worth every bit of what they cost. I highly recommend them.
