I wear 8.5 wide width shoes/boots and these were definitely not wide width. I was very disappointed with the sizing and poor construction of the outer bottom sole of the boot. Had to return these.

Very cute, looks just like the picture, and fit true to size. However, I tried these on and immediately felt like I was going to slip on my carpeted floor. There is no tread at all! They're going right back!

Size was fine, but boy, were these uncomfortable!

Ordered to try them on, they felt very stiff and not at all comfortable. I've had other boots in this style (different brand) that are amazingly comfortable, so I returned these.

so, these are really uncomfortable. Very stiff and the toes raise up off the ground. They look ok, but like walking in wooden clogs

I'm headed to Europe for a month and wanted a boot that would provide both style and comfort. Unfortunately, this boot did not work out. The fit was tight and narrow and I did not feel that the leather would stretch out enough to get more comfortable. The sole also left a lot to be desired in the comfort department (no arch support) and the color was a bit lackluster compared the photos. Overall these boots are beautiful but not functional for walking long distances in comfort. I ended up choosing the Born Keefe (size 12 in Tan Luggage) that accommodates my wider foot and high arches while providing the style and comfort I am looking for.

Too small. Really wish they would have fit.

Unfortunately, these boots did not fit my foot. I ordered the 6, which fit like a 6.5. Sad to send them back.

Pinched my toes. Not quite wide enough and my foot is often happy in a normal width though I ordered a wide to I could wear thick socks. No way could I last even half a day in the classroom in these.

Loved the styling of this boot. However I have a narrow foot and an even narrower heel and it just did not fit. I thought I might be able to make it work with a double sock BUT the main reason I am returning is the boot felt like I was walking on concrete. It has no padding whatsoever. It was rock hard. It was uncomfortable to try it on so I cannot imagine walking in these or standing. So the hunt continues.

I wanted to love these (especially based on the great reviews)! Unfortunately, the 7.5 was too snug on my foot (even in a wide width), and the 8 was too long and very loose. These made my average-length feet look absolutely huge, and I wasn't impressed with the sole or insole/support. The leather seemed nice, but with the sizing and the way these looked on my feet, back they go. My search for the perfect bootie continues, but Zappos was wonderful (as always).

I ordered a half size larger, however the bootie was too tight.

I wanted to love these boots, but they just don't work for me. The material is pretty stiff, so the top rubs on my ankle. Even if they had been comfortable I would have ended up returning them because the sole is so slick that they felt really unsafe walking on carpet, and especially walking down carpeted stairs.

Supper cute bootie, but they were to wide for my foot and the zipper rubbed on my ankle. Very disappointed because these boots would have been very cute with many different outfits.

It's too hard to get the shoe on. Also, I'm not sure what socks to wear. They are pretty low cut, so it would almost have to be a liner, but when I tried a liner on it slipped off my foot when I tried these shoes.

Unfortunately my heel slipped while wearing them (with socks). I'm a big fan of Sam Edelman Penny (the tall calf boots) and have had several pairs of those (same size 8M) but these did not work for me so I'm returning them.

Should have listened to other reviewers. This shoe runs narrow, even in the wide width! The sole felt hard. Pretty boot, but not worth the price. An extra star for "pretty."

How unfortunate that this stylish boot is constructed of cheap materials. The soles are hard and extremely slippery on all flooring surfaces. This pair will not be added to my boot collection.

Love the look of this boot, but unfortunately I had to send it back. I ordered my usual size (8.5 W), if was definitely too large and while my foot was comfortable with he width, it seemed even a tad wider than I had expected. But that was not the worst part, I could have order a smaller size but did not because the sole was extremely stiff and inflexible, it was like trying to walk on wooden planks. Consequently, I sent them back.

I ordered my usual size of 10W but the shoe felt so much smaller and tighter. It was so painful just having them on for a minute. I read several reviews here and on other sites of people having trouble with the sizing but also so many reviews about how great these shoes are. I think someone with a more narrow foot could enjoy this style. These are so fashionable but sadly I must return them.

First of all Zappos is awesome!! Wore them for 10 hours the first day and I was amazed how comfortable they were right out of the box... no break in necessary!!
