Everything was very good except the forefoot width cut right into my pinky toes. I can't buy wides because my heels are narrow. Too bad, really cute bootie.

These are great shoes, especially if you have wide feet. The wide width feels truly wide. My only complaint with the black suede is that the suede seemed worn on the edges right out of the box. I ended up returning them because of this. They need to improve quality assurance and make sure shoes don't get sent out with worn suede. It's fine over time if it wears but I don't expect a new pair to look like that.

I usually wear a 4.5. I had to return the first pair for a size 4, which fits fine. Wish they came in a smooth leather and more colors. So far they seem well made.

The putty color is nice, very neutral. I wasn't crazy about the brown sole but would have kept them. The toe box is very narrow. I am usually a 7, sometimes 7.5. I doubt a 7.5 would make a lot of difference. They were very tight with thin socks. Honestly, I'm not willing to "break in" shoes anymore. With all of the choices out there I'll keep looking until I find a pair that fits right out of the box!

This boot runs true to size, should have ordered by true size and not what was recommended by the reviewers. Good looking shoe.

I liked the look of these booties, but they were a bit narrow through the toe box for my foot though that's not unusual for me so I'd say they were pretty true to size for many medium-width shoes. Lengthwise they felt fine and true to size.

I love the look of these booties. I ordered a 13 M, which allows adequate room for a winter sock, however, my heels come right out of these. The 12W wasn't available in my size. Arch support seemed somewhat lacking, and they were a bit hard, and I think might be slippery as well.

The only thing that stopped me from keeping these was the very narrow toe box. Once I got my foot in the boot my pinky toe was squished up into the other toe. So sad. It’s the perfect heel height for work and miles of walking around. Other things I didn’t like though, and all Sam Edelman shoes seem to have this problem: the soles of the shoes are like skis. You need to get grip pads for any SE shoes you have. There is NO traction on these. I live in Seattle where it’s damp most of the year and I’d be skidding around on these or any SE shoe. the other thing about these is I have muscular legs and it was a bit of a challenge getting my heel into the boot. My other shoes I could just zip and slide in. These seemed narrow comparatively. So if you’re a true 8 and more often than not find yourself with room to spare in your shoes, this could be the boot for you.

Its the second pair I buy. Nice for skinny feet.

I ordered this style in two colors - black and putty (both suede) in size 10. The black boots were true to size. The putty felt a tad tight (especially on one foot). They have gotten better as I’ve worn them, but I won’t be able to wear thick socks with them. If anything, I think the 10.5 might be better so I may eventually test that theory. Inconsistent sizing aside, the boots are gorgeous, versatile, and incredibly stylish.

I am really into booties and I cannot find anything close style-wise to the Sam Edelman Petty for under $400, and these are a great deal! These are my second pair. I bought the black suede in my normal size 7 first, but then returned them for the size 6.5, which fit a lot better lengthwise. Super cute look. Love the almond toe, height, and the 1-inch heel which will make wearing them while on vacation in Italy stylish and comfortable. Haven't had them long so cannot speak to durability.

Fit true to size, I got the black suede and sort of wish I got the putty colored shoes. They recently started making a squeaking noise when I walk in them on the polished cement floors at work. I am really hoping that goes away because it needs to stop. I wore them 5-6 times at work before the horrible squeak happened so crossed fingers it will go away..

Good looking shoe but definitely order at least a half size up.

I really liked the shoe. There was a bump in both shoes that hit the bottom of my forefoot. After wearing them for a few minutes around the house my toes were going numb!

Stylish, but not comfortable on my typically size 10 narrow to slim feet. This boot is not designed to fit a narrow foot and narrow ankles, but for average feet, it probably works great.

These shoes are okay. I like the look of them, but will take a bit of time to break in. As someone else said, they have pretty hard soles, so not a lot of padding when you walk. I think the look is nice, and the heel hight is great. They're a little tight on my feet (but I have bunions).

Just didn't love it, so returned it. Wanted to like the style, but the size and shape didn't work for my 10m/w, ogre like feet. (My toes are especially 'thick' from top to bottom, and ugly!)

Found this bootie way too narrow from the arch and the way to the toe. I have a normal width foot. These just didn’t feel good. Returning.

These boots look nice but I preferred the Blondos I also ordered. I normally wear 8 - 8.5 and ordered an 8. The 8.5 would have been the correct length. The toe box in the 8 was not tall enough, the toe was too pointy and the zipper guard rubbed my inner ankle bone. Perhaps these things would not have been a problem in the 8.5 but I also was concerned about the smooth bottom of the boot being too slippery. So I'm returning them.

I am a teacher, and these are my go to boots for being on my feet all day! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because the ankle is wide, and the bottom started wearing out after a few wears. This boot is extremely comfortable, and the suede is extra soft!

Nice shoe - just not what I had wanted
