These boots are soooo cute. Perfect with jeans or a casual dress. I get complements on them whenever I wear them. Very comfortable too! I now happily own two pair of these boots, the other is an animal print. That says a lot for me to buy two pair, that's how greats they are!

Based on the reviews, I purchased these boots a couple of weeks before a 3 week trip to Europe. With minimal break-in time, these boots proved to be a very comfortable and very fashionable. I wore them with skinny jeans, skirts, and dresses. I have a nasty bunion and the boot stretched over it nicely. Highly recommend these boots!

Super soft, comfortable bootie in a classic color. I have a moderately narrow foot and ordered one half size smaller, which fit me perfect. I also have a narrow heel, which slips in this boot, but it is not uncomfortable.

Loved the look of this shoe, but I could tell just by walking around my bedroom that they would be really uncomfortable after a few hours. I have a lot of foot issues - wear orthotics, have hammer toes, nerve damage - and as much as I wanted these to work out, they just aren't right for someone with the issues that I have. I had to return them. Which stinks, because they looked adorable with my jeans!

I already have two pair of petty boots, black leather, and pale tan suede, and have enjoyed wearing them. This saddle leather color should compliment many items in my closet this fall and winter. The leather is soft and supple so they have a rich look.

Love these shoes! I first purchased in a size 6.5 but had to return for a 7. Maybe I have a high arch, but it was hard for me to get my foot in the 6.5, even with the zipper on the side. Once I received the 7 they slipped right on and were perfect! Comfortable from the start. I even wore them around NYC for a day and my feet felt great. I have super wide feet (even after my bunion surgery) and the width was perfect. I love pairing them with my blue work pants or jeans. You can definitely dress them up or down.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! These boots are perfect for fall. I cannot wait until it gets cooler in South Carolina so that I can wear these! I wear a 7.5 and these fit perfectly! If you're thinking about them your best bet is to just buy them!

The boots are so comfortable! I am a person with many foot issues, and it's often hard for me to find comfortable, stylish boots. So I was surprised that "right out of the box" these boots fit perfectly. The color is great too...a go with everything neutral.

These are cute, very reasonably priced ankle boots. I originally got my actual size, 8, but exchanged for an 8.5. I could get my foot in to the 8 and walk in them, but it would have taken forever (and lots of blisters) to break it in versus switching to the next half size up. Zappos has amazing customer service for exchanging and I received my replacements the next day. These are a bit shorter than most ankle boots, but the upper is of great quality and they look really cute with jeans. If you want cute leather ankle boots but don't want to spend $200-300 for a pair, these are a great alternative and should still last a long while.

Love these. Color is a true putty and the heel gives just enough lift that looks great with jeans or skirts. Can't wait to wear this fall. Fit is true. Imagine this will be my 'go to' shoe this fall.

Nice boot but it ran a bit narrow. I had to size 1/2 a size up. Which made the boot a bit bigger as far as length but I kept them anyways because they are very cute.

These are very fashionable and comfortable shoes. You can wear them with skirts, rolled up skinny jeans, and shorts.

I just wanted a plain boot with a lower heel, and this was exactly what I was looking for. Ordered these in black in a 4 and a 4-1/2 because I thought they would run short like the sandals I ordered this summer from the same maker. I had to return the 4-1/2 because these do run true to size. Very soft leather and comfortable from the get go! I had to have these in brown as well!

These are really beautiful and I can't wait to start wearing them this fall. They look awesome with jeans and even dresses. Definitely feels like I'll be able to wear them all day, and the heel height is just right for a casual boot. I generally wear a 6.5 in heels and 7 in boots/sneakers/flats -- the 7 fits perfectly.

I already own a pair of these boots in the putty suede and they are the most comfortable out of the box boots I think I've ever purchased. I get so many compliments when I wear then, and they are so wonderful to wear with just everything. I've worn them with leggings, dresses, and skinny jeans. They totally enhance every look and I don't know what more to say. I really love the Sam Edelman brand and I totally love these boots.

Love these shoes for fall! I bought them in a size 6, and not only are they super comfortable, but they fit true to size. Can't wait for the cooler weather to break them out more often...

Love these boots. I made the mistake of ordering up 1/2 a size, but sent them back for a straight size 8. These run true to size for me. I own several boots and sandals from this brand and love them all.

I purchased these on a last minute whim a few days before leaving for my European vacation. I was looking for something easy to walk in, neutral, and reasonably affordable. At first, my initial reaction was they were too narrow. However, after walking around my house a bit, I found they began to stretch out. I'm so thankful I decided to purchase the Petty boots, they ended up being the perfect choice! I'll definitely be buying another pair!

I love everything about these shoes they are comfortable if you do not use them all day long. I ordered them in my normal size 8 but I have to exchange for 7½. The shipment was faster then I expected!

I love these boots! I bought them in putty suede, which is a grey/nude shade. I am normally a size 6 to 6½, and I bought the 6 in these. At first, they felt much too tight and narrow, but after I wore them for a few hours they loosened up plenty! Now they fit just right with socks. It was raining the first time that I wore them, and they got some water marks on them but I used a suede cleaner and protector afterward and they look fine now. I definitely recommend these!

The Petty feels true to size, with no trouble breaking in. I wear a size 9, and the boot feels almost loose at times - which is no problem for someone with a wider foot. Very comfortable boot - I've definitely walked long distances with no complaint. The Petty has a reasonably good arch, but maybe could use some padding? I chose the Black Gladiator Leather, which feels great to the touch, and does a great job looking nice without scuff marks or scratches. All in all, love the boot. Great buy!

I really like the look of these boots! I got the black suede, and they are very versatile and work well with many of my outfits. I waterproofed the suede when they arrived, and so far I have been impressed with the quality. They seem as though they will hold up well to frequent use. My only complaint is that they do get a bit uncomfortable with extended wear (after about 7 hours or so), particularly around the toe, which is narrow. This does seem to be decreasing as they are broken in more and more. Overall, I'm very happy with them and wouldn't hesitate to buy them a second time!
