These shoes are super comfortable and are great quality. I ordered them wide, and I didn't even have to break them in. The leather is soft and color matches the picture exactly. The ankle is roomy but not too big. Great shoes!!!

Now I understand why this shoe has so many great reviews. They're classic, comfy, just the right shade of brown. I wear between a 6 1/2 and 7 and the 6 1/2 fits perfectly. I definitely want them in other colors.

After trying on a 6.5 and 7M, because I'm usually one or the other size, I settled for the smaller size. It took 3-4 days of wearing them to get the narrow feeling towards the toes to wear in but it was definitely worth it. It looks better the more worn and scuffed it looks, but definitely easy to dress up as well! Really appreciated the patience and sweet customer service reps for all their help, you have a forever customer.

I normally fluctuate between 7.5 to 8. I usuallly get boots in an 8. I couldn't even get the 8 on. The boot is a little tough to get on anyways. I exchanged for the 8.5 and it fit perfect! Very comfortable boot and I've received a ton of compliments.

I bought these shoes in the tumbled black. They are classy looking and work well with pants or a skirt/dress. This is my second pair of Sam Edelman and I'm pleased with the quality. I wear an 8.5 and they are true to size.

I have these shoes in two colors now, and looking to add a third. They are versatile, comfortable, and go with everything. The putty suede are probably my favorite color, but the tumbled black leather (newest addition) also wears extremely well.

Love, love love! I have the Sam Edelman petty boot in black suede. I normally wear a 6.5M, but decided to get 6.5 wide because they leather felt tighter than my usual suede ones. Of course, the leather will stretch out, but my feet didn't feel as cramped. Very happy with my purchase! :)

At first felt a little tight, but I decided to keep them and they stretched out nicely. They are as pictured, but the toe is a little more rounded-- and I think more feminine! Very nice for traveling as they are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. Definitely would recommend getting them!

Beautiful bootie by runs narrow, pinches front of my foot (bunions).

First thought were a little tight but wore for short time for couple of times and now very comfy - thinking of another pair in my future!

This shoe is of really great quality. The suede feels dreamy soft! Knocked a star off on style simply because the heel could be 1/2" higher and shoe would still prob be as comfy. 5 stars for comfort because the 9 wide, which I ordered, is super roomy! Lots of wiggle room for toes, as well as the embarrassingly large bunion I have. Because it's such a good width, I didn't take away a star, even though the foot bed isn't very cushioned when wearing the shoe. That doesn't really matter to me because I put in my own insoles, which I have room for even though the Petty's insole is not removable. This is the third bootie I've tried this year, and the only one on keeping.

I just received my new Petty boots in black tumbled leather. I'm in love! They are a simple, sleek style that will go with everything. They were comfortable right out of the box. I've been wearing them all day (combo of sitting and walking) there is no weird rubbing or slipping. The leather is a tad stiff and they are admittedly a little tough to put on but that would be no problem with a shoehorn. I think the leather will soften a little with wear and be easier to put on. I ordered a 7 wide and they fit great. My toes have plenty of room. Sometimes I wear a 6.5 wide and that might have worked but I think would have been too tight. These are a tad loose at the heel. I'll be wearing with thicker socks which will solve the problem. I've not purchased this brand before but they look and feel well made. I can't wait to get them in a few more colors like the navy and putty suede!

These boots are really cute and very comfortable! I wore them for a full day of walking when I first got them and they were comfortable the entire time. I am usually a 6-6.5 and the 6.5 fit perfect. Tempted to get them in more colors!

I was excited to finally get to order this boot in a "wide" size--9.5W. However, it really is not appreciably wide enough for my foot. So sorry because this stylish gray boot with black sole was just what I was looking for. As ever, Zappos service was unbelievable. Ordered it one afternoon and had it by noon the next day ! Fantastic !

These are great booties that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. I have a few foot problems (high arches, bunions) and have no issues when wearing these. The heel is a nice height and the zipper is discreet. I've gotten a lot of compliments while wearing them and highly recommend them to others!

I'm usually a 9.5-10, and I was a perfect 9 in these (good for the ego, I guess!). These shoes look and feel great -- I can walk around in them all day no problem. I noticed another reviewer said that they are pretty hard inside (not a lot of padding in there), and I can understand that. If I have cushy socks I don't notice it. Tempted to buy in a couple more colors! Great closet staple.
