I have had the black leather and the brown leather petty boots for close to three years now. I wear the black ones at least once a week, and when I first got them I wore them everyday for months. They are so comfortable and stylish. I can not decide if I want to get my black pair resoled, or just buy a new pair. The black petty boots are a staple in my collect. They come in a wide and are co comfortable. They never gave me blisters. The leather really shapes to your foot. I wish Sam Edelman would do all his shoes in a wide. I would own a lot more of them. Moral of the story is, I have had the black petty boots for years and they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes that I have ever owned. The brown ones are also beautiful, and I get a lot of wear out of those as well, but the black ones just fit my style a little bit better. Buy these shoes

The "black" tapestry is actually more brown and gold than black (with some purple). The gold threads are shiney. The colors just won't work with my wardrobe. I also got the solid black and liked them a lot.

Fortunately, I read other reviewers and knew that these run narrow. Therefore instead of the usual 7.5 M I wear, I ordered a 7 W and they fit perfectly and oh so comfortably. I have a narrow heel, but a wider forefoot and short toes. These are beautiful leather and very versatile. The arch support was better than most boots.

Love this shoe so much I have it in 3 colors. Worth waiting for it to go on sale too! I had plantar fasciitis and with a heel insert these helped me get back to normal wo only being able to wear sneakers. Plus they’re super cute.

I can see why this is one of the best sellers on Zappos. It is stylish and you can dress it up or down. I wouldn't call it an all-around bootie winner because it has a flat slippery sole that isn't great for extended walking, sightseeing, bad weather, etc. I ordered the moss green. I can see how people do see green in the color but to me they are more like a deep taupe or putty color. Very neutral and would likely work well as a basic in anybody's wardrobe unless they lived in NYC. I returned the moss green and bought the black just because it's not a walk all over the city kind of shoe, but it is a great going out to dinner, hanging with friends, etc type of shoe. And for that, my wardrobe is almost always black.

Love this boots! I normally wear a 9 W in other Sam Edelman shoes, but had to reorder these in 8 and 1/2 W because he 9 W was too big.

I have long, skinny feet and these were too wide all the way around. Had to return.

I love these boots. I bought them for my mom for Christmas and then bought them for myself right after. I wear them everywhere. Walking around the city, walking around my busy clinic, to dinner, to concerts, literally anywhere. They are so comfortable and sort of are the perfect cap to every outfit. I’ve worn them with skirts and tights, jeans, Work pants, pretty much anything. If you’re on the fence, these are worth it. I’ll probably buy another pair just in case they stop selling them. I’ve had them for almost 2 years now and they’re still in amazing shape with near constant wear from October-April.

Nice boot but doesn't fit my high instep.

Size 6 is too large but my instep is too high for size 5 1/2. Really beautiful navy swede bootie with nice heel. I have a problem with the low cut that rubs my skinny ankle in the wrong spot.

I've been wearing my petty ankle boots for the past 3 years and now have 3 different pairs b/c I love them so much! They're super comfortable, I can wear them with casual outfits or dressy occasions-I've even worn them weddings! I have a suede pair for summer, leather pair for winter (rainy winter days in the PNW), and a nubuck pair for fall/spring. I highly recommend these shoes as a wardrobe stable because of their comfort (I routinely wear these all day and walk at least 2-3 miles without my feet barking at me) and their versatility (they go with literally everything in my closet!). If you're looking for a great ankle bootie, look no further, simply pick a color! Also a sizing note: the suede seems to run a little narrower at first than the leather/nubuck ones-they seem to have stretched out and the tightness are no longer an issue.

These are beautiful -- beautiful suede, beautiful workmanship. Plus, they are comfortable and will look great with everything from jeans to a skirt or dress.

Got so many compliments on these booties! The fabric is lovely, and they really bring a pop of fun when wearing dark colors. I was on my feet a lot the first day I wore them, and noticed the soles were pretty slick on some surfaces. I can also see how they'd be a little hard on the feet after standing for a decent amount of time. Overall though, love them!

This pair of boots was beautiful to look at; however, they are terribly hard and unbendable. I love the navy blue, but my feet did not like the stiffness. I really need some navy shoes or boots to wear on Sunday, but NOT these.

Stunning shoe. Beautiful pairing for when you are dressed all in black but want to add a striking accent. Will be sure to be a conversation starter. The only problem is that it runs a half size too small. I'm returning for a larger size

These boots are beautiful and I seriously thought about keeping them on the grounds that "if I lose some weight, they might eventually fit". Nope, been there, done that, ended up giving whatever it was to Goodwill. I sadly shipped these back since they were just too tight. I wear a 9.5 W or WW, depending on the shoe, but unfortunately the C/D width of these boots is just too small.

I love these boots. I wear them with dress pants at work and get nothing but compliments on them.

Wonderful! At office it's so cold and I needed nice cute boots. It's always really hard to find cute and affordable shoes for me because I need really wide shoes. This pair was soft and wide enough for my feet. And did I mention how cute these are!? Perfect for my office outfit. The only thing is that I wish outsole wasn't that slippery! Overall I love it!

I love these! I have really wide feet, and the wide width size fit perfectly. They're comfortable to wear all day, and they go with just about everything. I've gotten many compliments on them.

This is my favorite pair of shoes. I wear them almost every day to work, and I am on my feet for a lot of the day. They are so comfortable, I am never wishing I could take my shoes off at the end of the day. I am trying to find something that can compare in comfort in a more summery shoe. Plus, they are really cute!

Beautiful ankle boots. I have never gotten so many compliments! Easy to wear with cropped jeans, skirts and dresses. Ordered a half size smaller than my normal size.
