This is the prettiest brown boot I have found. It fit perfectly; not too big around the leg either. The leather is so soft, and it is even soft on the inside. Do buy!

I am on my feet 12-14 hours a day at work and have to dress business casual. It is SO hard to find cute shoes that fit the bill and that are comfortable. THESE ARE IT! By far the best work shoe I have ever owned, so cute and stylish, and my feet are happy. I have 4 pairs and will buy more as soon as my size comes back in stock! Love love love!

You can dress them up or down. You can wear them every day and wear them to work. And they are comfortable! Style AND comfort!?! Yes, please!

Great style and look in a bootie. I'm 5'3" and did not want a "tall" bootie. I am appreciative of Zappos wonderful shipping and return policy as I had to try this in 3 sizes. I need a wide width and ended up with my "true to size" 7.5W. I often have to size up to an 8 so I'd guess this runs a half size small.

I bought these boots in black in the spring for a trip to London and Paris, and they were wonderful. So when I saw them in taupe for the fall I jumped right on them. It's still summer here, but I tried them on and they are just like my black pair, so I fully expect to be able to wear them everywhere for the whole day long. It's a very versatile style, looking good with pants and skirts and jeans, good enough to wear just about anywhere. My black pair I wore straight out of the box with no break in period, and walked over 10000 steps every single day over city streets. A really good short bootie, I recommend 100%!

I bought these shoes in black at the end of last winter to wear to a trip to Paris, and they were absolutely stupendous. I could pound the pavement in them for hours and hours and not really know I had shoes on. I never had to break them in. I decided to buy them again this year in a taupe color, which I think looks a little less formal and is fine with my jeans. I highly recommend this bootie; it's comfortable and elegant and fashionable and it comes in widths. Heaven.

These are perfect. I wear a 91/2 to 10 usually. I ordered the 10 because of the pointy toe and fit was great. Want to compliment this company on their customer service..best ever. Had gotten a number wrong on my address and this pig was not being delivered when I checked the tracking. Call customer service they quickly saw the problem and fixed it. Great job.

These shoes look great with dresses and jeans. They are a staple in my wardrobe. Highly recommend. They are a little narrow however and take some time to break in.

I just ordered these in the summer (off-season for the east coast), since they were on sale and I received a coupon from Zappos in my email. Two of my girlfriends have these boots in Saddle and I spent all Fall/Winter coveting them, so I was thrilled to find them at such a great price! I ordered an 8W (8 regular was out of stock), but I'm glad I did, since the wide seems to fit my foot perfectly (boots are tapered a bit at the toe). They fit perfectly and I can't wait to wear them when cooler weather arrives!

I bought a pair of Black Sam Edelman Petty's size 8.5 several years ago. I had gotten good use out of them, so when it was time to get a new pair, I bought two pair: 1 Black and 1 Putty. both 8.5. [I was surprised when I looked at the size since I normally wear a 9]. When they came, I tried them on and they were too small. Weird, but not unusual for manufacturers to change. I exchanged the Putty's for a 9, but there were no black ones, so I bought a different brand. The 9's fit perfectly. As I said, my previous pair lasted several years (and I am very hard on shoes). I recommend them!

I initially ordered size 6M as my normal sizing (brown leather) Shipping was fast! The size-6 pair looked super adorable and I felt in love; but I had to reorder 1/2 size up. I received the 6.5M in 2 days later. Love them! The pair in bigger size doesn't look that cute as the smaller one. I'm also very happy with the price and quality of Sam Edelman's shoes. Highly recommended.

I am usually a size 5 and had to trade for a size 4.5 instead. This shoe is amazingly comfortable, I have danced the night away in them with no foot pain. The shoe is stylish with any jeans, skirt, dress, and slacks. I love this shoe and feel amazing. It has perfectly good heel. I might buy another one - being greedy!

I was looking for a sleek, minimalist bootie that hit low on my ankle with a very low heel and these were perfect. The only issue is the sizing. After reading through dozens of comments, I decided to purchase a wide width even though I typically wear a standard width because I saw so many reviews about them running narrow. I’m usually an 8.5-9, and I purchased these in an 8.5 wide. The fit is allllmost perfect, but I do wonder if I would have been better off with either a standard width 8.5 or an 8 wide. They are just a tiny bit large in the heel and I feel a bit of slipping when I walk, but with thicker socks it’s not an issue. They were immediately comfortable out of the box and I foresee myself getting a ton of wear out of these. The leather is gorgeous.

Absolutely love these SE boots! They are very comfortable and the leather inside is so soft. You can even wear with no socks and they do not rub or irritate your feet. Very versatile and trendy.

I LOVE the Petty and the regular width is a touch narrow but the wide are SO super wide the shoe felt 2-3 times bigger. Safely had to return.

This is my 3rd pair of Petty boots, and they are amazing! My feet don’t hurt in them, even after wearing them all day. I can dress them up or down, and they’re one of my favorites in my shoe hoarding collection. :)
