I coveted these boots for months, and my dear husband surprised me with them. Upon first glance and wear, this is the perfect boot. It is gorgeous, versatile and ridiculously comfortable. It has the perfect heel height. Sadly, after about an hour of wear, it starts to show some unfortunate personality traits. First, even though I gave them a protective leather treatment, the beautiful, supple leather scuffs noticeably if you look at it wrong. A day at my office desk, and I look as though I have been traipsing through the outback. Secondly, the sheep's wool feels a bit different than the other Uggs I have worn. It is quite irritating on bare legs. To the point of a previous comment, the wool that shows above the boot definitely dresses down the boot, but is perfect if you are going for the Sun Valley look- not that you will be able to wear them in any sort of inclement weather. :) Overall, this boot is like a quirky, high maintenance friend: Fun to have around for shopping and social events, but not someone you want to spend every day with.

These boots are great for snow and keeping your toes nice and toasty, bought them for a trip to Whistler Canada. I had to go a size larger since no half sizes. They are comfortable but are a more casual look. I wear them when I have a lot of errands to run and want to still look put together. The heel height is perfect. The little lift while still practical. I also sprayed them with a water repellent to keep them looking good even in wet snowy conditions.

Great looking boot, and comfy too! Doesnt look like the usual Ugg boot but every bit as comfortable. Just enough height on heel so you can look stylish while running errands. Sheepskin all the way down the shaft, but doesn't have sheepskin footbed insert. Could always buy that though.

Got these about a month ago in espresso. They fit great & are super comfortable even after walking in them all day. I'm about 5'7" and they reach to about 3 inches below my knees. The suede seems like it will wear well. They are nice & warm thanks to the full shearling lining.

I bought these Ugg Hartley in chestnut (leather). I normally wear a 7.5 faithfully, but I've learned to buy the Uggs (that don't come in half sizes), in a size 7 if it's leather. I have at least 9 pairs of different Uggs and I've learned that the shearling will get broken in and the leather will stretch, so going a half size down works better for me than going a half size up. I love these and they are my new favorite boots. The color is true and material is very good quality. The small wedge heels and rubber soles are amazing! I have athletic calves, and these are a bit snug, but I've learned that Uggs stretch, so I'm okay with the snugness. I treated the leather with a few layers of mink oil, which protects the boot overall and keeps from getting scratched easily. I love these! Must have for fall and winter.

I don't like to admit it out loud, but I am middle age. I love trendy styles and think the classic Ugg boots look great -- on everyone else. I just can't pull it off. That is why I was so happy to find the Hartleys! This boot is stylish, warm, versatile & comfortable! It can be worn with a dress, jeans, or leggings. Love my Uggs!

Lusted after this boot. I wear size 40 in the Rylan Dansko boot, so ordered size 10 in the Hartley chestnut. #1 grade leather, really nice looking but the bottom of the footbed is leather, not wool. Also, really tight across top of the foot. I kept them and they did stretch some so I can wear a light wool sock. I get so many compliments on the boots. Now, ordered the Ugg Belcloud in size 11. I so hope they are wide and a full wool foot liner.

These boots are like butter! So comfy, so nicely constructed, perfect! The brown suede is a great neutral suede. The wedge heel gives height but the soft rubber sole grips snowy sidewalks well. These boots are fantastic!

As others wrote, these aren't quite fancy enough to wear with suits,but are really fun and oh so comfy to wear with a pair of casual pants (example jeans or cords). Or even a jean skirt. Very versatile! I already own a pair of fancier boots (bought at Zappos same day) and a pair of Uggs to wear when you are taking walks. I find Uggs run small on me, so I ordered the 8 instead of my normal 7 1/2. Cute boots, and warm, too!

It's a really great boot, beautiful, fantastic quality - and I'd never discourage people from trying it on... very comfortable. Just not the style I really wanted. So I sent it back. For me, it felt too soft and poofy - which is great, but I wanted something a little less casual. It also bulked up a bit at my inner ankle... but that may have been the size - I really needed a 9.5 instead of the 10 - I tried them on with a medium-thick sock and my back ankle slipped up when I walked. If I were to keep the boot, I'd get the size 9 and wear a thin sock since the lining is so cozy and warm. Try this boot for sure if it's your style.

I love these boots! I normally wear an 8.5 US, but ordered an 8 and it is perfect! I have a narrow foot and high arches and they feel great! And they keep my toes warm!

The most comfy boots I ever owned and I own 11 pair of Uggs. Need to go a size up in comparison to my other Uggs.

I ordered these in the chestnut and had to go one size up because my toes were squished in my normal size. They are super comfortable and warm. For me they are still a bit tight in the toe and a bit loose in the heel (probably because I went a size up). Overall I love these boots!

Got these in brown and black for my wife, and they are very cute. She says they are comfy and warm but don't have the same frumpy look as the "standard" Uggs.

I love these boots, the fit is true to size and super soft on the inside. This is the greatest website ever! I will forever shop here and have never been let down! I would and will recommend Zappos to any and all! Thanks again, Zappos!

I just got these today. I ordered a 7 despite normally wearing a 6½. The 7 fits fine. I purchased a similar style last year from Ugg and had to return them after several wears because where the leather broke by the ankle just cut into my ankle. After several wearings it never broke out, just getting deeper into my ankle and gave me blisters! But these seem much better. Let's hope. I cannot wait to wear them.

This is my first pair of Ugg boots, and I'm officially converted! I was going to exchange these for a different style because they looked similar to boots I already owned, until I tried them on! So comfortable I didn't want to take them off...ever!

Love these boots! They fit my small calves great, they are comfy, and the small wedge heel works well with many outfits. They are a bit on the small side - I wear a 7 1/2 or 8, and the 8's fit perfectly with no socks or thin tights.

My seven-year-old daughter told me these were far more stylish than all the other boots I was considering and she was right. They are comfortable, right out of the box, which is good for someone like me who never wears a heel. They are roomy, which would allow me to wear a sock if I choose. I haven't had any scuffing issues. Bottom line, they are worth it!

These boots are amazing! They're one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've owned. Love the style too! Fit true to size, as opposed to some other Ugg's that run big. Definitely recommend!

I was very happy with these boots! They're super cute on & extremely comfortable!

The rubber outsole has much greater traction than regular Uggs (which were a nightmare on snow and ice!). Even with the wedge this is a very sturdy boot. I have narrow heels and thinner calves and was worried about these being too loose - but they are nice and snug! I love the color and the style - and the fact that the sheepskin does show a little bit (these look lovely with jeans and leggings tucked in). The tooled rib along the side adds to the rugged feel. I have relatively small, narrow feet (7AA). The strange thing about these boots is that they actually feel a bit too snug between the top of my foot and the footbed itself. I can see how this might be a problem for those with larger feet/higher arches.As another reviewer noted, the chestnut leather does scuff quite a bit. I have yet to weatherproof these, but when I do I know I need to use a heavy duty product (a wax or mink oil) to help keep them looking sharp (I cannot see a spray-on product lasting long with this kind of leather).

These are warm, beautiful, comfortable boots! This is my first pair of Uggs. I always equated the brand with shapeless, Ugg-ly boots, but I found these while cruising Zappos' boot collection and hemmed and hawed. The boots are a bit snug on my large, muscular calves but may stretch with time, we'll see. Hopefully they hold up well as they cost a pretty penny for pretty boots!
