I first ordered these sandals in a size 9 and they were too big. I called customer service and they could not have been nicer. They sent me a size 8 which fit perfectly. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and this sandal does not come in 1/2 sizes, so I was very happy. I then sent back the 9 and it was transacted as an exchange so I was not charged twice. Thank you Zappos. I am very satisfied with both my purchase and your customer service. The sandal is wonderful, with so much arch support and heal padding, perfect for the extra support I need for my high maintenance feet! They are nicely styled as well.

I got these sandals to see if it would help with plantar fasciitis. It was well worth the money; after a brief break-in period I can wear these all the time. The arch support is terrific, and they offer cushioning to the heel. The hard surface makes it easy to clean the insole. The only negative, a small one, is that for narrower feet the straps and Velcro are a bit too long. Otherwise, a great buy.

I purchased these sandals especially for walking. I wore them right out of the box and after some quick adjustments on the straps they have been perfect. My foot runs on the narrow side but the adjustability of the straps allows for that. I love the arch support and walk about 2 1/2 miles so that really helps. I do not like to wear closed shoes especially in summer because my feet get very hot so these are perfect. I have many pairs of Orthaheel sandals an am rarely disappointed.

This is my 3rd pair of Vionics and the most comfortable yet. The velcro straps make it very easy to adjust the fit, and the shoes are so lightweight! I broke mine in by wearing them for all 4 days of CMA Music Fest,and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of incredibly comfortable and cute athletic sandals.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Good support, and a very good sandal for walking, shopping, and wearing all day. I usually wear a size 9 1/2 in other shoes and a 9 in 3 other pairs of OrthHeel/Vionics, but I wish I had ordered an 8 1/2, as these are longer than my other sandals, and already adjusted as tight as possible. But I could not bear to wait for them to be returned and replaced. These really do align my foot and ankle so that I can walk correctly with no foot or leg pain, for hours on end.

I just received my sandals today. I should have listened to those who said there is a problem with the straps being too long for those of us who have narrow feet. As I have gotten older my feet aren't as narrow as they once were, so I thought perhaps I would not have a problem with the straps. If I decide to keep these for summer walking shoes, which is why I purchased them, I will have to cut about a half inch. I will probably have to hot glue the ends to make sure the straps don't come apart as I'm not going to pay to have them resewn...ridiculous for the amount I've already paid. The shoe does feel great, and I am having problems with my arches, so I guess I'm going to have to keep them, but I do ask the Vionic designers to please listen to these reviews.

These are the first pair of sandals I have been able to hike all day in, and not have sore feet! Usually I always have to wear tennis shoes, so I can wear my orthotics. Not any more. Very appreciated.

Best shoe and brand for walking and being on feet all day with Plantar Fasciitis. True to size. I am almost back to normal - whatever that is. Looks like this is the only brand I will buy. I am so happy.

I love these sandals! I am an over pronator and need arch support. I have been won over by Vionic. It did take me two orders to get the right size. I normally order a size 8 but the size 7 fit my arch perfectly.

These sandals have carried me all day, every day that is warm enough in Michigan! They carried me across Israel also! Bought 2 new pairs for this summer. I usually wear an eleven but fit very well in size 10. Zappos has a no fee return policy so you can get the size that really fits and not have it cost you an arm and a leg in postage. Had very painful plantar fasciitis and these sandals were the only ones I could wear.

I just took these shoes out of the box and I think they will be perfect for travel and everyday wear. They are very comfortable and very supportive. I am slowly recovering from plantar faciatis in both feet and these shoes feel great. I ordered in black - the color is more like a dark gray. I was happier with this than the jet black in the photos. I am a size 7.5 in most shoes. In these shoes, size 7 is perfect for me.

Greatest walking shoe made. I walk fore exercise in the city which means a lot of pounding on streets and sidewalks. No pain. Before, I couldn't wait to get off my feet, ankles and knees.

Bliss utility shoes. Wish they came in Narrow, but this shoe is very adjustable. Safe on wet surfaces, in vehicles and indoors, as well.

I don't normally write reviews but these merit not just a review, but praise shouted from a mountain! While wearing these shoes, obviously. I have worn lots of sport sandals in my life, because they are pretty much indispensable for activities like hiking in the wet jungle of Costa Rica (taking your shoes off and on every time you crossing through a creek gets tiring!), kayaking, etc. I have never worn ones this comfortable. After a recent appointment with my podiatrist that made me realize that my bunions and pronation were contributing to my knee and back problems, I swore to be better to my feet. I got the brown sandals with lime green Vionic Muir sandals in both a 9 and a 10, and got the same sizes in some Chacos to try as well. The size 9s in this shoe were perfect, even for my narrow foot. The Chacos had support, but almost too much - I have always felt like their soles are just way to clunky to be nimble. Also the straps hit in weird places, whereas these straps felt like they were made for my foot. The middle strap that crosses the arch of your foot is perfect to equalize the pressure of the straps across all of my foot, although I am going to have to have a shoe repair place move the velcro back on the strap across my toes and shorten it - it is way too long! Otherwise a perfect shoe - I am already excited to have them take me adventuring! Thanks Zappos and Vionic for making this a great and easy purchase!

Incredible sandal for problem feet. Runs large so I had to return it. Order a size down. Wish they had half sizes.

Great sandal. Worth the price due to comfort, arch support, and the adjustable straps. I have 2 colors of these and wear them every day. I wear size 8 in these, even though my other shoes are size 9. One issue is that there are lines in the soles that trap dirt, so you will be cleaning these (which is easy enough). I highly recommend these.

I recently purchased this product, along with 7 other pairs of Vionic Orthaheel slippers and sandals. When this product came to me it looked as if it were repackaged. I called Zappos and told them and they apologized and said they would immediately send me a new replacement order with a self-addressed mailing label to ship back the first pair. They were true to their word. I couldn't believe how fast and easy it was. I received the replacement order the next day. It was in perfect condition. The label was e-mailed to me. I took the first order to UPS and easy, peasy, no mess, no fuss. And customer service by phone was great. They were so friendly and accommodating, I couldn't believe it! I love all the shoes I ordered. They are attractive, stylish, comfortable, durable and have great arch support. Now I can be stylish and not look like an old grandma just because I need the support. I admit I have narrow feet, but I could not get these adjustable straps narrow enough that I could wear these sandals. The footbed felt really good, however, and I really wanted them to work.

These are very athletic looking and extremely supportive right out of the box. The first time I wore these we went on a 3.5 mile brisk walk and there was no rubbing anywhere. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Italy and feel they will do very well on the uneven pavements we will be walking on. The straps allow me to adjust them if it's a day my feet swell, etc. I would highly recommend these sandals.

Never thought I would be able to wear sandals again. These shoes have worked like a miracle for my feet. Have had plantar fasciitis for a year and have tried everything, including shots. These have done the trick!

These are great arch-supporting sandals for those of us with plantar fasciitis issues. I can wear these for hours comfortably, even hiking. And yes! They do run a full size large. Don't be a dodo like me and order your regular size. Go ahead and size down!

Very comfortable sandal! The deep heel and arch support are excellent. I have issues with my right ankle and arch partially due to pronation and previous injuries. Vionic Orthaheel is the only brand that brings me relief so that I can walk around all day without pain and swelling. I have since purchased additional styles of this brand and hope that those styles feel as good and fit as well. I recently bought a pair of Propet "Helen" but that sandal can't compare to the Vionic Orthaheel "Muir" when it comes to comfort and support.

These are just what I needed. The colors match the picture and the arch support is nice and high. if you want sandals with good support and not bad looking either, buy 'em!

d a tear in my plantar fascia, flattened feet, pronation. Had custom orthotics, but these are better. My feet are a mess and these are the answer. They actually look more black than dark grey, look better on the foot than off, give it a try.

I love these sandals, this is my second pair since my first pair turned into water/hiking shoes and I needed a pair that I could have that looked nice. They provide great support, are comfortable from day one, sturdy, and good looking. I wear both pairs, just for different activities.
