I was diagnosed with an inflamed tendon in my foot and told to get an orthotic and to never go barefoot again. I use the orthotic in my walking shoes but wanted comfortable sandals. These are great! They are a bit wide for me so the velcro straps tend to dangle a bit since I have to pull them tight but that is a very minor complaint. I have worn them quite a bit since I received them and find that my ankle no longer aches. Highly recommend them.

Really make sure that if you are a half size you order the next full size down...these run large. Other than that I think these shoes are unconditionally great! I am about to order another color. I wore these shoes in Orlando at Universal Studios for two straight days and I never experienced foot fatigue or discomfort. I had Plantar Fasciitis and am hesitant to wear sandals for long periods of time...these get an A+!

I have suffered with plantar fasciitis for years and wear custom orthotics. There are almost no sandals I can put my orthotics into. I was so pleased to find the Orthaheel brand and took a risk that they would work for me. They did! My feet feel great. I am a teacher and can wear them all day with no foot pain. They have even made my lower back pain feel better. It did take a few days to get used to them, as they had a different feel than my orthotics, but once I did break them in I didn't want to take them off.

These shoes have the best arch support of anything I've ever put on! When I take them off, my arch feels like it has been reshaped to how it is supposed to be. They are very comfortable and I like the adjustable nature of the front and back velcro closures. I tried this brand in the slide on style and the straps were all wrong for me as they were not adjustable but these are amazing! I typically wear an 8.5 or 9 and these fit perfectly in an 8.

This is an excellent shoe! It has very good arch support. If you like a lot of cushioning, it is not for you, for it is not a cushioned shoe. But the support is excellent.

Not bad! Nice supportive sandals. I just found the Orthaheel Vionic Mojave style more comfortable.

I really like these sandals! They shape to my feet, are flexible and sleek, not clunky like some Velcro adjust sandals. They are so quiet too that you can't hear your footsteps. They are shorter than the Orthaheel flip flops that I also have and love and I'm not quite sure that the ridge behind the toes hits in exactly the right place. Orthaheel products have really helped my feet recover from plantar fasciaitis and week and strained ankles.

I purchased these sandal because I had a knee injury and it was hard to walk. I heard that these type of shoes could help with knee problems. It was a lot of money for me to pay for sandals but I wanted to walk better. They did help me with the walking but I will need surgery in the future.

I received the shoes quickly and they were comfortable (took a few days to get used to the high arch) and fit well. My only disappointment was that I fully expected to get these shoes wet (they are sports active shoes, similar to Tevas), but when they do get wet the color of the shoe leaches onto my feet. I bought them in a lavender color and when it rains I end up with a dark purple coloration on the top of my foot where the shoe straps cover my foot. I would think Orthaheel would not leach color.

These are fantastic sandals! Love the Orthaheel footbed (very comfortable for bad knees). And they're cute & stylish rather than orthopedic-looking. My only complaint -- kind of embarrassing -- is that I find that my feet small after wearing them for hours on a hot day (not something I experience with other sandals). Not enough to cause me not to wear them, however.

Can't wear flip flops due to high arches. Ordered the green which works well with very casual summer wear. Probably an 8 1/2 would fit best. Strap tips should be shortened a bit and had to get used to feel of 'textured' footbed surface. However, has excellent arch support so don't wear my orthotics!

I like these shoes ok they are very comfortable, but not sure I'm keeping them as they are a bit too open for me. I have a lot of loose rock in the area I walk so these aren't ideal for walking on that.

I love the each and support in this sandal. My knee that hurts when I walk does not hurt with this shoe. My only complaint is that the upper strap is too high. It rubs a blister so I wear socks when I walk and it is fine

Great shoe. Loved the color and the arch support and it fit perfectly. I'm returning it because the texture on the foot bed bothered my sensitive feet. Bummer!

This is an excellent sandal with THE BEST ARCH SUPPORT I have ever found (and I'm very particular). It has relieved my plantar faciitis and ball of foot pain. The adjustable straps make it a custom fit for me. I do wish it had some padding on the top of the footbed, but the relief it gives my feet made it well worth purchasing.

Good strong arch. Not as adjustable as they appear - the velcro is just to close the sandal and allows for only minimal personal fit. Very comfortable for my need-a-high-arch feet, helps with the plantar fasciitis just like my Kiwi slides do but aren't quite as ugly. I like 'em.

These Orthaheel shoes were recommended by my foot doctor. However, due to a lumbar spine problem I am not comfortable wearing this flat a shoe. I have kept the first pair of the Orthaheel heel shoes I bought as I wore them out a couple times to try to get used to the foot bed.

I wanted to love this shoe, and don't get me wrong, it has great features with the adjustable straps and built-in orthotic features. I just didn't like the very textured surface on the sole of the shoe. I was aware of it with every step I took - don't want to think about my feet so much when I'm walking.

Orthoheel does not offer a wide shoe much less sandal. Shopping in man's size doesn't work because they do not go down to size 6. I wear a woman's size 7C. woman's shoes tend to run stingy in the wheelbase under the arch so that the arch over hangs the foot bed vulnerable to dried weed ponji sticks in the garden. The Muirs were the sportiest style offered but were disappointingly flimsy with the straps and especially the strap connections and stingy with the wheelbase protecting the arch and outside the toe box. The color offers are ridiculous but aren't important. Girls need a summer shoe for gardening in the Southwest jumping small irrigation ditches and wading through water, mud and harsh weeds and light digging. It is hot out here. Orthoheel needs to offer a real shoe that does more that look cute. I have severe pronation so I need to step out of my bed in the morning and directly into my shoes, the same shoes, everyday and not have to deal with fancy strapping. I do not want to be messing with my shoes when a dog or skunk break into my chicken coop at night and I need to fetch the gun. I need a direct sport sandal with arch support that goes on quick and easy, protects the bottom of the foot, runs a little wide in assorted mud colors that I can walk to church along the ditches in a skirt. I had to send them back.

Love the sandal. It is very comfortable. However, after 3 days of wearing in the house, the velcro has become unstitched! I am disappointed with the quality.

Fabulous shoes. They fit like a glove supporting perfectly- including the entire arch. I've never owned a pair of sandals fitting this well. I have plantars fasciatis and, after walking and hiking on vacation, I had no pain at all. I would wear these shoes constantly. They are another Vionic home run!

I have high arches and am currently trying to remedy a bad case of plantars fasciitis, so I purchased these sandals to provide the support and cushion I need. They are so comfortable and allow me to walk around much more comfortably! I like the style and color too.

Great Vionic fit. I only wear Vionic shoes and sandals and these are a super alternative to sneaker vs sandal. More support than flip flop but not the heavieness of a sneaker...

My favorite Vionic! I have arthritis in my feet and these are the only ones that relieve all pain. In fact, after several years of wearing them, I have actually healed a little. Images show the toe of the shoe turned up; this is inaccurate. The toe may turn up slightly out of the box but quickly flattens out upon wear. (Toe turn up is very uncomfortable for those with forefoot issues.)
