This boot, like many other Timberland boots, looks great and fits nicely. However the quality is poor. I'm really disappointed because I had always considered them to be a high quality company. I have a set of Timberland Pros that is still going strong after 5 years and lots of rough wear. However, this set of boots started giving a loud squeek after lesst than a year of wear. I've tried to see if it was something I could fix myself, but it is some kind of separation within the sole. Also in the past year I purchased a Timberland belt that was of such poor quality that it bled on to my pants, staining them. A friend of mine has a set of Timberland boots that is falling apart after 6 months. It is obvious that Timberland has become a simple, low quality fashion brand. Their stuff looks rugged, but in reality it's not. If you need a serious boot, look elsewhere. I just put in an order for two more sets of boots, neither of them Timberland, and definitely not Earthkeepers. Message to Timberland CEO- why don't you try making decent quality products before saving the world?
