My husband ordered these boots in two sizes and kept the larger size. He sent back the smaller size and within a few days Timberland sent them back to him saying they wouldn't take them back because the leather was too scuffed. Since he kept the larger size it was clear the returned size was too small and it's not like he was trying to scam them. They were never worn and any scuffs on the leather were from the packaging. After contacting their customer service he had to send them several pictures and now he had to send them to their warranty group, which apparently is a 4 week process, where they will decide if they will take the boots back. As a big shopper myself and having dealt with so so many brands, both high and low end, I cannot believe the absurdity of this and how poor this customer service is. The boots were clearly not worn, there is absolutely no scuffing or wearing on the soles and just some small scratches on the leather based on the packaging. I have never had anything questioned before and honestly mostbrands would take something back even if it had been worn and there was an issue with it. It's a shame because my husband loves Timberland boots and has been wearing them for years but we will never shop here again and will let friends know about the poor experience.

I've owned these boots for three or four years now so take what I say with a grain of salt knowing things may haves changed to newer models. In my opinion these are the best looking boots you can buy and they age really nicely as you continue to wear them. Sure, they scuff and crease and fade but it adds to the look and doesn't impact the integrity of the boot. I would say the comfort is ok; certainly not like a plush sneaker but it's never been an issue unless I go for a long walk on pavement. I will say that this is not a hiking boot or rain or snow or work boot. It's a casual boot. It's very simple with few technical features which is perfect for what I use it for (going to a restaurant or on walk with the dog, casual trips). The durability has been amazing and these boots don't look like they're ready to give out anytime soon even after 300+ days in them. Overall amazing boot

This is a very nice and comfortable boot. This is exactly what I expected from Timberland and that's why I am ordering the next boots (my son and me).

I've had my pair of of Earthkeepers for a few years now and I love them. I've worn them so much that the treads are almost worn out and it's about time to replace them. My feet do not get tired or sore feeling after wearing for long periods of time. My feet also don't get that hot and sweaty feeling. They're great to wear out into the field to muck around in the dirt or go out in with jeans or khakis on. I had to.put anlittle shoe goo on the front of one of the soles last year and it's still holding strong. The leather now has that nice worn look and the laces are still great, no fraying.

These are great looking boots! Well designed, well made, and stylish. I wear a 10.5 shoe, and had to order a 9.5 boot. They are just about right, but a little wide for my foot. Please make in black!

I have several pairs of Timberline shoes and boots some of which are from the old custom shop. The only irritating thing is getting the correct size. I have 8.5, 9, 9.5 and 10's all different styles that all fit.

This shoe looks expensive stylish and that it would cost double! It is very comfortable and only compliments anything you wear. It is great for walking around or climbing / hiking!

This is hands down one of my favorite boots. I only wish they had more colors to choose from. I would collect them all if I can.

These are absolutely the best boots that I have ever worn. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I have only worn them a few times for long periods of time, but they have held up very well and never hurt my feet.

Every day where but not my work boot. Stylish and comfortable. Comfortable from the beginning but more comfortable when broken in.

You know Timberland, I don't like to throw around the words "unparalleled genius" casually, but that's what it comes down to, right there, my friends. I'm not sure the people understand how top notch the Originals Mid Boot is. They are a boon to all mankind! This boot's abilities are most likely beyond what people can understand. But that's OK, because people don't have to understand this boot to buy it, which I recommend all red blooded, wild, top notch human beings do immediately. Also, this boot's work ethic is comparable to a draft horse. Or Jesus, maybe. This boot is determined and strong, but it also works miracles and looks great and that's all you the people need to know. What are the boot's greatest strengths/weaknesses? What can't you do in these boots? You could run a 40 yard dash. Long jump in them like one of the Mario brothers. Play a full court basketball game in them. Solve global warming. But if we're talking about character strengths, then I'd say it has to be how you can also wear them to a fancy ballet too. While it may appear to you that it's just a boot, you'll find yourself head over heals in love with them as they age. This intense love is instant but it also gets better as you add up the miles and years on them. You are buying a boot and getting serious dedication, tenacity, and loyalty as well. This boot's greatest weakness is either it's perfectionism or his inability to refuse extra responsibilities. They will happily do whatever it is you ask of them - and never, ever hurt your feet. They merrily take on alot of abuse without complaint. Many years from now you are going to be wearing them down - way down till he sole is worn away, and, together, you'll keep hanging on because you love them so much. 3. What is your overall evaluation of this boot? This boot is the apotheosis of all boots that have ever been made, period! Ha-ha, just kidding. Or am I? In the history of time, I don't think a better boot has ever been made. Various things that come to mind when thinking about these boots, which I do often, even outside of my work: self-possessed, tall, strong footed, upright, weight-bearing, dynamic, full bodied, melodic, sweet smelling, and aplomb-filled. Great pair of boots

I bought these for my husband who is very picky about boots, and he loves them! True to size and seem durable. They come with waterproofing, so we won't need to do that right away. Very beautiful boots! #SWEEPSTAKES
