I sent my warranty form because of the con on my list but Timberland denied it. That because they're trying to use other materials. These boots are not full authentic leather. They do look fake and the smell is not genuine leather. More like vinyl. Real disappointed.

The stitching on these boots started breaking and unraveling in less than six months. It started with the tongues. I just bought these in September 2022 and by March 2023 there is a big hole in the top and both tongues are halfway falling off. Terrible quality.

These were a Christmas present for my husband. He was very very excited to wear them but when he took them out he noticed a HUGE tear on the toy hue area. I did not bother to inspect them as I believed timberland would have their own quality control measures. EXTREMELY disappointing!

My last pair of Earthkeepers lasted me for 12 years. Not these days. I bought a new pair and the tongues separated from the boots after 3 wears. (stitching unraveled) Sitting at a computer desk. The warranty claim process is a nightmare and all they'll do is send you a replacement OR give you store credit if a replacement isn't available. Scammy. Find another brand that isn't trying to cheat the customer. Are Timberlands glory days gone?

Beautiful boots no question. Purchased directly from Timberland's website. Very first use, one boot loop ripped on the back, very disappointing. Just 4 or 5 wears later while pulling up the tongue, the stitching ripped. Now one tongue is half attached and the other boot has a ripped loop with normal use. These are not work boots for me and they serve a purely aesthetic role so I am not hard on them at all. Not quite the quality I was expecting from Timberland.

Bought in July from Dillard's. By September, the little tab on the tongue of my left boot came unstitched. The leather on the toe box of my right boot is beginning to separate. I have worn these boots at most 7 times. The toe box material wrinkles like a shirt (not quality leather). The rest of the boot has a nice quality leather. Just that one part seems to be selected from the pleather pile. They look like two different pair of boots. For this price, quality control should be better. The photos should speak. I've attached a photo of the left boot toe box for reference.

For some reason there are two seems in the leather and a bump on the the interior of the boot right where the back on your heel meets your ankle. The skin rubbed off the back of my foot after 2 miles. This looks great and feels good but it's an odd place for the construction of the boot.

I am writing this review with tears in my eyes. I've dreamed about these boots for so long. And I'm disappointed. Having carried them for one season, I can't believe my eyes, they are cracked. Cracked at the bend. Just one season. I didn't think it was possible. Now I need new shoes, because there is a hole and water will penetrate. The backdrop is lost inside(
I stick a photo because it's hard to believe.
I cannot recommend waterproof Timberland(

I ordered the RED BROWN BURNISHED (polished leather boot) as above but received a MEDIUM BROWN NUBUCK (oily nubuck boot) with the same style# on the inside label.
I then spoke to 2 cust.serv.agents and both insisted it was the same shoe but the lighting in the studio was bright when the pics were taken. So why also different names then?
I am TERRIBLY disappointed. Won't buy Timberland again!!!

Disappointed, pictures don't match the color of the boot. Looks faded and rugged but that's not the case. Over priced, missed out the pair that was on sale for $60 cheaper and now it's out of stock and not being sold. The boots would have looked exactly the same but if I would've know that in the first place instead of being deceived by false advertising pictures. Then timberland customer service was no help. I will be returning them.

The color is way off from the photo online and generally cheap looking compared to what is advertised.

This boot might be comfortable and durable and everything else it solicits to be, but I can't get passed the color inaccuracy.

Tongue of boot ripped in half from the stitching coming apart after the 3rd time putting the boot on. Worst pair of timberland boots ive ever owned. Not worth the money

Unacceptable ordering directly from the manufacturer, only for the product to come stained and with creases. As if, it had been worn or used already.

Really like the looks of these boots. Read the great reviews and immediately wanted a pair. Very disappointed they are not sold in 10.5 EW or 11 W. Never got a chance to even lace up in a pair.

I bought the red brown burnished and instead of having the heal and toe a darker color. THE WHOLE SHOE CAME AS A DARKER COLOR. It is almost as if Timberlands never even bothered to have any quality check on the design and color of the shoe. The shoe came in a box that said Nubuck but when I called and gave them the "color" code they said it was what i purchased. Timberland... Either update your pictures or do not sell the shoe, but do not put me and others through the waste of time of having to repackage and stop by FedEx to return shoes that look nothing like advertised. Hopefully the pictures below help give an idea of what you are actually ordering when choosing red brown burnished.

I have a 3 year old pair of Men's Earthkeepers boots which I've enjoyed and meticulously cared for. Unfortunately, as the photos attest, the leather strip between the boot and rubber sole is disintegrating -- it's simply peeling away. Eventually the boot will pull away from the sole entirely. I took it to a shoe repair shop and they're unable to fix it. So I called Timberland customer service. The service agent was completely disinterested in my plight and indicated that not only had my warranty expired, they also don't repair their products. No surprise on the warranty and I would've paid for the repairs considering the boot's age. But now I have no recourse but to throw them in the trash. Going forward I will never recommend Timberland. Their products don't last and the company doesn't stand behind your investment in them.

This product is good to wear but the color comes off a LOT. My socks literally turns black after wearing this particular shoe. However for the men's shoe I didn't notice any color that wears off. Only the kids shoe is like this. With just a wipe on the outside my paper towel turns black. Will be great to return it but didn't wear it until after my 30day limit, trusted timberland too much

I used this shoe for 4 days. I do desk job so has no tough terrain challenges.
But in just 4 days the tongue stitching started to come off. Very poor quality product from timberland.
