These are and always have been great boots. I waited for my son to be in middle school before getting him his first pair because if the price. He's extremely happy about these. Surprisingly they ARE TRUE TO SIZE. I've always thought these run big, but they don't. I plan to exchange them for one half size bigger so they last longer, but they're great.

I originally bought the boots in a 10 which is the bride all my other gonna are. They were very big and I ended up getting a 9. Other then that the boots are great.

I love these boots!

I would like to predicate this comment by stating that I only have owned these boots for a few days. Yet, the first day I owned these boots, after I Nickwaxed them, I wore them to work on a rainy day and my students commented on how stylish they were (and I didn't even role up my pants like a hipster as indicated in the photos although I was tempted). I went home and worked in the rain cutting up some firewood. Hence,the title fashionable and functional, which is what I wanted in a boot.

I am on a loading dock with concrete floors all day and these are the most comfortable shoe/boot i own. i plan to keep buying this boot forever
