I have swollen feet and needed a shoe that would work. The hook and loop is almost too short. The customer support helped me pick these out. The better shoe for my swollen feet was the New Balance 813. They come with extra long hook and loop closer and are made for you to trim to length. The Windslow is a higher quality shoe and very good looking and it feels so good. One will never find a better customer support team to help. Call them.

The shoes are nice looking, but they have no support. They needed an additional arch support insole in order to be comfortable.

The original order was for 6E width. It came rather narrow for a 6E, so I contacted their live chat on-line site. Their rep "Indi" was most eager to be helpful and directed me to another manufacturer that might size theirs a bit larger. They did, and I re-ordered. They arrived within two days. Outstanding service and I certainly have found it a pleasure to do business with Zappos.

Compared with Asics and Brooks that I bought at same time, this one is half even one number larger. Despite the size issue it's a very comfortable shoe.

I am one of the rare males with narrow feet. For many years, I have been buying an equivalent shoe from New Balance. But when I went to their store and then their Website to get a new pair, I was dismayed to find that New Balance seems to have discontinued virtually all their men's narrow shoes, in this style and others (I would have bought almost anything from New Balance, as their lasts fit my feet just fine, as no other brand of casual and sport shoes does. I happened on the Dunham brand (now apparently owned by New Balance) after extensive Web searching and was pleased to find what appeared to be an equivalent shoe, though at a significantly higher price than what I had been paying at New Balance. Since this style and fit trumped price for me, I ordered a pair, which arrived promptly. Trying them on, I immediately noted that they were not nearly as comfortable on me feet as their New Balance predecessor: mainly tightness over the top of my [flat] feet, I think. I considered returning them, but relented when I realized that I had no good alternative. I have been wearing them indoors, hoping to "break them in." They're getting better, but I'm, still less than thrilled. I hope that, with time, they will become more comfortable.

I wore them around the house and they REALLY hurt my feet. First time ever with Zappos shoes.

I was a little disappointed in the style once I had a chance to wear them and see them up close. I'm not sure how well the velcro straps will wear over time. But the biggest issue for me was that the shoes squeak when I walk on a hard smooth floor, which is exactly the problem that I have with another pair shoes and the reason that I am looking for a replacement pair.

I purchased these Dunham waterproof shoes that are well made except for the ridiculously short top strap. This strap might be ok for narrow shoe sizes but for wide feet like mine they are much too short. I emailed the factory and talked with a Zappos representative that tried to help. I offered to pay for longer straps that a shoe repair service could replace the strap with a longer strap that would close properly with no response from the factory. Notice that customers complained about this since 2018. If I do not hear from Rockport or Dunham factory I will have to return the shoes. I think longer straps on these shoes would dramatically increase sales of Dunham shoes.

The Velcro straps are too short. When you order a 6E width I think the straps should be longer

I purchased these to get more support than my usual penney loafers and with the convenience of velcro straps rather than shoestrings. Unfortunately, the width B(N) feels sloppy and the velcro straps don't do the job of providing a firm fit.

These have a very nice design concept. The shoes are of a soft, very stretchable leather. If you want a precise fit, order them tight. These are not "work" shoes, soft leather is easily marred, scratched. The internal lining is of an unfamiliar perforated material the perimeter edges of which fray but can be smoothed with exposure to a cigarette lighter's flame.

I just ordered this shoe so I will re-review after I have it. Based on other reviews, it's highly rated. The review is about on line ordering. I wanted to note that the tax on my order did not show itself until I clicked the final button to complete my order (no going back). Not sure that it would have deterred my purchase but I found it deceitful to not show the tax as part of the total until the final confirmation click of the on line order. I've seen nothing but high praise for Zappos but, that practice won't bring high praise from me. Please be honest and forthcoming in all areas. Thank you!

I ordered size 10.5 6E in black and brown. The shoes looks great the size is right but the width is a little tight for 6E. The width is more a 5E at the 6E rating for width.

This is my first pair with velcro closures, purchased because I had shoulder surgery which would make lace-up shoes hard to tie. I wanted to use them mainly for exercise walking. Initial impression, though, is that the footbed lacks sufficient cushioning for this type of wear.

Way too narrow for the stated width. 4E width was too narrow to fit even a 3E foot. Couldn't even get my foot into the shoe so couldn't judge the arch support.

Ordered 8.5 but was delivered an 8. Box had right info but the shoes did not.

Zappos sent me the wrong size shoes in the write size box! Do better, Zappos! I don't appreciate my time being wasted to deal with this.

Shoe was to wide for being narrow and the end of tongue is stiff it hurts the top of my foot I can’t wear them a full day without foot pain.this shoe is way over priced I won’t buy again.

I ordered Brown and they sent black!!
