I have several pairs of these shoes, as the ones I end up using at the horse barn are no longer presentable enough to wear out to a restaurant. They are well constructed and durable, roomy enough to accommodate my custom orthotics, and easy to slip on and off.

Very comfortable shoes. Only one bad about them. The insoles wears out quickly. Just buy better ones like I did. Got them in January 2018 it’s now December 2018. A little worse for wear but still very usable.

My husband says these are very comfortable. This is his second pair; first pair lasted him at least 5 years. They also accommodate an orthodic which he needs when he is on his feet all day.

Perfect from the fist minute.

I needed a shoe to help with swollen feet as well as keeping my ankles straight while I am in my wheelchair, and these shoes do that job well. Very nice shoes.

I bought these shoes for my son who is very flat footed. He had shoes that were very uncomfortable and had a hard time finding shoes that fit and comfortable, so this is where I stepped in and looked online and found large shoes for big men at Zappos. I had to call and spoke to one of their customer service reps about the width of the shoe. He was very helpful. After I got his input, I ordered based on his suggestion and lo and behold the shoes were a perfect fit. My son works long hours standing on his feet a lot. He's thanked me several time for the great shoes. He said he's worked 16 hrs. days and his body was tired, but his feet felt good. That's the reason I think the shoes rate 5 stars.

I wore my first pair for 2 years and then converted them to daily yard work shoes for the last year. They are still in use. Currently wearing the new pair. They are comfortable, durable, rugged and hold polish well.

I purchased these for my Dad based on the excellent reviews because he is so hard to fit (13, 4E) and needs a good arch support because of his flat feet and neuropathy. He needs a velcro closure because of his disability so that is an additional challenge to find a good shoe for him. I was thrilled that not only are they comfortable for him but the true test is that he is wearing them daily and has thrown out the old tennis shoes. They are providing him excellent support and they look great whether he is wearing jeans, kakis or casual slacks.

The only issue I had was: The size of the strap was a bit short. I have had a DVT and my foot is always swollen a bit. Coupled with having professional orthotics and a 6E width, it always tends to cause issues. I wish the straps were 1/2 - 3/4in longer. The New Balance shoes I had previously had longer straps that could be trimmed up.

My husband has extremely high insteps and naturally wide feet, plus he has disabilities so getting shoes on and off can be very difficult. He had resisted the Velcro closure shoes, but had these in the lace-up model, so I decided to try to Velcro model on him and he is able to put them on and off by himself because the opening is much wider when they are not "tied." They are comfortable as well and look nice on his size 13 EEEEEE feet.

It's real leather and has velcro closures. Not too many like that. Bought it to replace my NB velcro walking shoes, which are made of vinyl or whatever they make fake leather out of. Frustrated that there's no wider shoe available in my size (mens 7.5). Not sure if this is going to work for me long-term. The toe area will need to stretch out for it to be comfortable. We'll see.

Width was good, no pinching. Same with length. However, the tongue rubs when I take a step.

There is absolutely no arch support. I compared these shoes with two other shoes I have. Timberland dress shoes and New Balance athletic shoes. Both of these other shoes have great arch support, but these Dunhams have absolutely no arch support. The tongue extends high and rubs against the top of my ankle when I walk, a circumstance with which I find discomforting. My current dress shoes do not have extended tongues, and therefore a rubbing annoyance is not an issue. Perhaps shoes with Velcro tie-down straps must have an extended tongue to accommodate those straps; if so, I did not know that and the description posted did not say that.

I was hoping these would work for me. i had this shoe before in a tie version, and i loved them. Now due to arthritis, and swollen feet these didnt work for me. I do recommend these if you have normal feet!

This pair of easy-to-fasten shoes met every expectation. Quite comfortable right out of the box and the sizing was accurate. There were several other possible options but I think I hit the jackpot. There's always a bit of luck in picking shoes online. Zappos approach seems to help me.

My Dad loved these !!! He has to wear braces and these worked great and looked like shoes he had wore in the past before his accident.

Very solid pair of shoes with velcro straps.

These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn. My wife bought them for me for Christmas and I started wearing them early! My shoe size, a narrow 13, is hard to find so I bought another pair, in black. Couldn't be happier.

My father is 97, and his feet become swollen. These wide (2E) shoes with Velcro laces are ideal for comfort and convenience. They are easily adjustable to the current degree of swelling. And they look good, too.

husband loves these..he has wide foot and size 16 shoe size...the hook and loop close works great.

Purchased another pair of Dunham's tie shoes and liked those. I went with the Velcro fastening on this pair as my arthritic knees are making it harder to tie shoes these days. They have good support and are sturdy--not heavy or clunky feeling. These work well with my orthotic inserts.

These are lifesavers for anyone with arthritis in their hands. No laces to fight with, so they are easy on and easy off, but with much better support than loafers. The black ones have pebbled leather, which is much less prone to scuffing than the smooth brown ones, and they also clean up well and take nicely to black polish when needed. This is my third pair, and they a little clunky looking with the velcro strips but for casual or outdoor wear they are great.
