I loved the look and the comfort. But hated that they squeaked. I made the mistake of keeping a pair of Alegrias that also squeaked thinking that it would stop. It didn’t. And now I’m stuck with a really cute pair of shoes that I can’t wear because the squeaking is awful. So. Alegria folks. If you’re listening: fix the squeaking problem!

These are the first awesome dressy sandals that accomodate my bunions and hammer toe! Although, my bunions are on the edge over the stitching, they're still so comfortable. The material of the toe strap and top do not irritate my hammer toe. Although, I wouldn't choose this style for all day walking (because of foot problems), they are awesome sandals if you want something dressy.

I love these sandals and really glad I ordered them! I got a great price and now looking at Alegria Mary Janes to help my Metatarsalgia. I only buy Foot Doctor approved shoes. These felt a little wider but not enough to make it an issue.

These sandals were perfect from the moment I put them on. Very comfortable. I have 2 other name brand sandals and these Algeria’s are by far the most comfortable . Only downside would be they do not adjust enough on upper strap, can’t pull it through the metal ring without changing where the ornament on strap sits.

OMG, I have been working from home 4 years and finally I found the right sandals to wear year round! In this 4th year I learned that just because you work from home doesn't mean you're in PJ's and slides all day. I do have conference calls 4-6 hours out of my busy day. These sandals have saved my life, I have purchased three pair in the past week! My daughter is a tech and she does wear them, but I thought her being on her feet 12 hours per day was a great reason for buying them. I didn't think these would work but guess what they are so amazing for my feet. I bought a very expensive pair $198 just to sit on conference calls, bad decision. The left side of my foot was in so much pain by the end of the day! Thank you Algeria, Thank you Zappos.com!

I live these shoes! However the leather sets stained easily because it’s in finished. Can see sweat stains and water spots.

I loved these flip flops/sandals. The black looks perfect with a little bling. But, I’m in between sizes. I’m a true 7 but usually opt for a 7.5 to get the width I need on average width h shoes. The 37 was too short in the footbed and the 38 was too long, wide, and heavy for my foot. I may opt for the snug 37 just bcs the arch support was so great!

Due to arthritis problems, I have to be careful of my shoes. These shoes are very comfortable--straight out of the box they can be worn all day. They are cute and stylish as well. I love the color--they are such a dark sparkly blue that they go with almost everything.

I love these sandals! I bot these a few years ago in a different color. This pair, however, are just too wide. I have narrow feet, and they slide around and off the footbed. Bummer! I may keep them, anyway...

Comfortable and excellent support. This was my 4th pair of Alegria sandals and I was surprised that they were a lot narrower than the others. Overall great sandal for joint problems in the hip and knee.

Very nice sandle. Looks well made. However, the soles are not rockers like Dansko. I have really bad knees and mid foot pain. Danskos help ease the pain in feet 100% and help a lot with the knee pain. THe Algeria doesn't really rock, I felt it was more of a flat foot stomp, when I took a stride. My knees really felt worse with these on. Also, if you do not adjust well to thong sandles, then this might not be for you. I found the thong painful in the left foot, but not the right (go figure). They are worth trying. If it doesn't workout, send them back. OH.... I have very wide feet. I order a 41 medium. A 40 wide would have been better for me. You can wide on Algeria website.

I just discovered this brand and absolutely LOVE it! This shoe in particular is so fun, comfortable and versatile. Can be worn with jeans or dressing up. I just discovered this brand 3 weeks ago and have already purchased 3 different pairs of Alegria sandals!! Love, love, love!

I have midfoot osteoarthritis and need shoes with a lot of support and cushion to keep pain at bay. These are very comfortable and will be good slip ons for the warmer months. I wear size 10 and ordered a 41 in this shoe. (I have Paloma as well and tried both 40 and 41 but 40 was a little tight.) The gold is a little flashy but I like it. I like sparkley things.

I am stingy with my 5-star ratings on products, but I felt that these Alegria Carina style sandals are worthy. The style is attractive on my feet, they are well made, the hardware is flattering to the color and style of the shoe. (Reviewing the black leather shoe.) You cannot beat the quality of construction, and the shoe is quite comfortable with its cork, memory foam and leather construction. The rolling heel/toe bed soles making walking very comfortable. I did bend the toe piece a bit back and forth to loosen it, and once I adjusted the velcro straps a bit from its manufacturer's settings, it was extremely comfortable. My feet are a very typical size 8 Medium, so a 38 fit well. I did wait until the second full day of wearing these sandals before writing this review. I ordered the brown leather version as well, and its hardware is equally as attractive for that color, and I am equally pleased with those as well. Zappos shipping is prompt and I am happy with it as well. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchases.

no question Alegria makes a great product. BUT the instep strap is not fully ajustable so I couldn't tighten it.My older pair of Carinas could be tighten enough so I could walk miles. In any case, the footbed and look are outstanding. Unfortunately I had to return them.

This is my second pair of Alegrias. They were recommended by my foot doctor as I was recovering from a foot fracture and needed some summer shoes. I loved my first pair so much that I bought a second pair and I plan to buy a third pair. They provide good foot support and are very comfortable. I get a lot of compliments on how stylish they look.

These are cute and stylish, the thong strap is great looking, although needs a bit breaking in, but they are very comfy and I can wear for HOURS without pain! I love the height of the shoe. I got them in neutral black, and I would love a pair in RED.

Beautiful shoe, very comfortable sole. Has a lot of cushion and support. Only issue, there is a metal buckle/clip, that rubs against my foot. Unfortunately, I will have to return them.

This is my second (third?) pair of Allegria Carina and they feel more comfortable than the first. I do not like closed toed shoes especially in the summer so I need a sandal that wears like a walking shoe and this sandal is IT. This time around I got the 'hickory' and with the exception of a very very shiny brass grommet by the toe (I can fix that) it is a great looking shoe, very versatile.
