Love these shoes so much and I am so happy that Zappos had them in my size since docs site doesn’t. I usually wear a women’s 8 but after reading reviews I sized down and am very glad I did, I would say if your usually a 8.5 don’t size down the to a 7 it will probably be too small. The only thing i would change is the fact that they had flat laces and not round ones like they usually do. They also didn’t come in a doc martens box which was fine it just took me by surprise.

Nice boots

As a huge fan of the punk/rock aesthetic, I've always wanted a pair of Doc's, and I finally got them. As a size 14, I was worried they wouldn't have these in my size. These boots do feel a half size too large, mostly in the ankles, and there are no half sizes available. Luckily, this is a problem easily fixed by wearing thick wool socks, something that you'll definitely need during your first month or so of wearing these. These will be the most comfortable boots you'll ever own, but be prepared for a difficult time wearing them in. I had blisters on my feet after wearing them at a Ministry show. Over time, this will get better, I promise. I'm not vegan but really like the aesthetic and feel of the vegan leather more than the real leather, plus I'm helping the environment so that's neat.

These shoes are so stylish and come without the baggage of animal cruelty- which I love! I have only had them for a few days, but I haven't had any issues. I ordered a size smaller than my usual since they were sold out of my normal size, and the shoes fit perfectly! They are a bit tight on the top of my foot (the seam where the laces start), but I assume as I break them in that will go away. If that's something that would bother you then you probably don't want to size down. Otherwise - sizing down ended up working out perfectly!

They were super comfortable once I broke them in. I would say it took a few days but I get daily compliments which is a huge change from my dirty converse.

My daughter is 10. This style of boot was in style when I was her age. They are timeless. High quality, worth every penny! She has had so many compliments! She can wear with jeans, shorts, dresses. Super fun.

These boots are fantastic. But the fit is tricky. Ordered her normal size and it was way too big. Returning for size only.

These are great boots. First Docs I've bought, and they probably won't be the last. - I love the way the synthetic leather looks so similar to the real thing. Not into leather, so it's a good substitute. - The soles are comfy to walk on. They do bounce. - They seem like tough boots that'll last, but we'll have to see. - I was a little put off by the slim laces, but that's minor. - They seem clunky around the ankle, but I'm used to wearing Vans so it's probably just my perspective. Also minor. - No arch support. Coming from Vans, I personally don't care. Somebody with plantar fasciitis might, or maybe someone who just wants more support. Grab some insoles with these if that sounds like you. Great boots! They look and feel good. Glad I bought them.

Best boots. Once you break these in (1-2 weeks), they are like walking on air. I’ve been a big fan of these boots since the 1990’s and have ordered them time and time again because they are a great brand.

Can't go wrong with a pair of classic docs.

Gorgeous boots. Perfect fit. They stand up nicely, but are not stiff feeling.

Love the shoes, wish they came with better shoe laces. Do yourself a favor and order better ones when you order new shoes.

I was so worried getting these shoes, since they were my first Dr. Martens, but I can honestly say, they are the best and most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Didn't even get a blister breaking in, maybe some red marks that were gone in a couple of hours. SUPER COMFORTABLE I LOVE!

I bought these Docs for my daughter about two years ago, and she loves them!! She's 16 now, a junior in high school. She wears these boots nearly every day, year round -yes even in the summer!! They're becoming a bit worn out so we're looking for a new pair. It's been awhile since I've ordered from Zappos since we live so close to a lot of shopping, but ZAPPOS IS THE BEST!

Great vegan boot. Very sharp. Soft and comfortable right out of the box. No need to wear the skins of dead things.

I thought that since they were vegan they might not be as comfy and soft as leather. I was wrong! These are as soft and comfy as the leather ones! :) Highly recommend them.

I am in love with these and have worn them pretty much daily since I got them. They are lightweight, soft and pliable and were comfortable right out of the box. I love wearing them with tights and dresses just like I did back in the '90's! So great that they are vegan. I get compliments on them all the time- people can't believe they aren't leather. I wear an 8.5 but ordered an 8 and they are perfect.

These boots are unbelievably comfy. Thought my Frye boots were the most comfy shoes I owned...until I got these. I wear these almost every day now. They break in fast and look great. Love that these are vegan, too. Zappos shipping and customer service is fantastic - these arrived at my place the next day. I wouldn't order shoes from any where other than Zappos!

This is a well made boot. It fits well with skirts and jeans. The color is nice and it is Vegan!

These may very well be the most perfect boot in existence. Classic style and now vegan, too! Dr. Martens is known for their durability, but also for their leather. Finally, a vegan alternative! These fit like a dream and look perfect. Comfortable although some inserts might not be a bad idea if you'll be wearing them to stand for long hours at work (like me). Depending on the brand, I can wear anywhere from a 7-8 US. Got these in UK 5/US Women's 7 and they fit like a dream. These boots are beautiful! I love these boots. I bought them as protective gear for my commuter scooter. They are comfortable and stylish. They seem to run a little large. Even by the sizing chart, so keep that in mind.

I am in love with these. I just got the black color, and they are beautiful. As a vegetarian I am so happy I can get a pair of Doc Martens without any animal products in them. They are definitely a bit big, but I like them that way so I can wear big socks in the winter. The faux leather is extremely soft and beautiful. My fiance was shocked when I got them and he found out they weren't leather because they look so good. I am starting to break them in a bit, as the bottom is quite stiff. If you are going to be standing for long periods of time, I would suggest an arch support or something inside the boots because they are very flat on the inside. There's plenty of room for them. I absolutely love these boots!

These are one of my favorite boots. I have had them since 2023. I have worn them 40+ times. They still are not broken in completely though. I rate them an A- They also squeak everytime I wear them.
