SO happy with these boots! After going vegan a couple of years ago and getting rid of all leather, my work boots were the last thing to go. I tried cheap man made boots from payless which were a disaster, killed my feet and didn't let my feet breathe at all. When I found these Dr. Martens I was so excited because I knew they would be high quality, and it's also exciting when an iconic brand recognizes the vegan community, as there is definitely a growing demand. As with all boots, they took a few wears to comfortable break in, but now they are very comfortable (I did add some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts though) and sturdy. Not only that, they look good, I've actually gotten compliments from my co-workers AND the general public. Highly recommend this product, a godsend for us working class vegans!

Could not be happier with these boots! They feel very comfortable, although they get creases near the toes after a few days of wear. They clean up very well, and the creases become a lot less visible after a good polishing. Well worth the money.

Fantastic. Beautiful boots. Solid, durable material. I've gotten several compliments from strangers while wearing them. The color is very appealing in its subtly. Overall, a classic boot. And it's vegan! Here's to hoping that Dr. Martens exponentially expands their vegan line of shoes. How awesome would it be get some of their other shoes in a vegan version?!

I love these shoes. They take a while to break in and the process isn't all that pleasant. I made the mistake of wearing these for 8 hours on the second wear. I could barely walk at the end of the night. HOWEVER, they seem solidly constructed, and with the Dr. Marten insole, they are more comfortable and provide better support. They look great. Hooray for durable fashion for vegans. I bought a 9 (wear a US 10-10.5) and they felt snug. A 10 might have been a better choice, especially with the insole.

These are great boots if your job requires you to have work boots but doesn't require them to be steel toe. They feel very sturdy all around your foot. I ordered mine a little too big, so I would say whatever your size is, pick the size smaller. For instance I am a 7 in mens, so I would need a 6 for these boots. I just have been adapting to the bigger size and have not had an issue. Great alternative to wearing a cow!

I really wanted to love these. Vegan Docs! They run really large though and if you have a small frame and run on the narrow side, these are going to be huge. It was large on my size 8 foot, and stupid large on my left foot that runs a half-size smaller, typically. I could slide the left boot on laced. I'm returning since I need extra support in the ankle area that I do not thing a smaller size will provide. Just posting my review so others out there can be aware that they run big.

Peculiar fit. I can't speak to the durability of these boots, as I just received them, but the fit is very odd. I have a pretty normal foot shape and these are extremely tight over the top of the instep, while the heel pocket is extremely large. So the back of my feet are lifting up and out, while the top of my foot is being badly pinched. There is no arch support whatsoever and no padding, very similar to traditional Converse All Stars. Due to the extremely tight top of instep, there isn't enough room to fit some gel insoles or any additional padding, so I'm not sure these will work for me. I do love the classic style, can't go wrong there.

If you are a Doc Martens fan, don't let these shiny ones fool you. They look nice in the picture where in real life, they are very different than the average Doc Martens you know. They are very thin so don't expect any protection. Because of the fake leather, they sound like plastic rubbing on itself (squeak on every move!) and when it comes to the way they look, in reality they are about 97% black and only the front got a touch of dark teal. This is a return for me. Definitely doesn't worth $163. I love animals and I don't eat them, but I won't consider fake or "vegan" leather from Doc Martens again.

These were the most uncomfortable pair of boots I've ever put on my feet. And to think they were $150?! Absolutely not worth it! The bottom of the shoe on the inside looks and feels like it's made of wood. Absolutely zero support. They also hardly move at all because they're so stiff. I'm super disappointed in Dr. Martens for ripping people off with this poor quality style.

Awesome shoe, if you had it in purple I would order another pair.

Fit perfectly. They look clunky but are extremely comfortable. They are warm and great for walking on snow.

I love these! I stopped wearing leather 20 years ago after my first and favorite pair of Docs wore out, and I never bought another pair because vegan version wasn't available. These boots fit even better than my original pair and they are cruelty-free, too!

Love them! Super comfy and very sturdy. Totally worth it! It didn’t take long to break them in, just a few days really. I was a little worried about them looking cheap but definitely not the case. Ive had them for a couple years now and wear them all through fall and winter. I’ve wore them to the coast, hiked in them and I live in the PNW. They have held up great so far. Highly recommend.

These shoes can be hard if you are in between sizes. My husband is a solid 10.5 I purchased the 11 and we added his tried and true Superfeet insoles. They are perfect! I encourage those who have fit issues to size up and try an insole. They were comfortable out of the box and the sheen on the “ox blood” really makes them pop.

Great boots but tend to run large, especially around the ankles. If you have larger ankles/legs and struggle with lace ups, these would be great. Great, study, and good looking boots though!

I love these boots! They do fit a little on the big side, especially around the heel, I probably could have gone down at least a half size. I decided not to exchange them bc they fit nicely with thicker socks. I am constantly on my feet at work & have been wearing them all day today with no foot pain. Very comfortable, very easy to break in. I am so happy they’re vegan as well :)

i love them! i’d reccomend sizing down, as i am a size eight but a seven fits me perfectly !!

Excellent boot. Perfect fit and no break-in time. After reading the reviews I purchased 1/2 size smaller and they were an ideal fit. Will definitely purchase another pair.

Love these boots! I was able to wear them right out of the box. They’re possibly the best shoes I’ve ever bought. Yes the vegan ones stretch a little bit. I sized down like they suggested. Now that I have worn them several times they’re my go to shoes because they’re even more comfortable and fit perfect! Also the color is amazing.
