As other reviews mentioned, the zipper is a bit of a challenge on these boots. After 3-4 wears, however, the zipper broke in just fine. For Frye boots, these broke in pretty easily - I was able to wear them all day from the first day I had them. They're not heavy like some of my other Fryes, either. The leather is gorgeous and soft. I'm really happy with these.

Frye boots are some of the best! I get compliments every time I have these on. Great color and beautiful soft leather. Amazingly comfortable!

I've worn these boots almost every day since i received them. I've always liked the comfort and fit of FRYE boots. Love these. They tight on my calves but do loosen up with wear. So glad a made this purchase. Great with jeans, skirts or dresses.

These boots are the best quality boots I've ever purchased. I read a lot of reviews prior to making the purchase because this is a lot of money to spend but even in pictures they look like they'd be worth the money. But for sizing and comfort I wanted to see what other people had to say. They're FABULOUS!! I give them 10 stars all around if I could. I'm a 9. I bought a 9. Comfortable right out the box, no break in time necessary. The style is timeless. The leather is like butter. I'm totally hooked on Frye. And of course Zappos shipping is amazing!! I always receive my order the next day and returns are super easy. Zappos is the next best thing to buying in the store.

These are beautiful well-made boots. Sadly I had to return them because my toe-box is too wide for them :(

Have had these boots for 3 years, still my go to boot. Have many Fryes and love them all but these are still my Fav! Feel great on my feet even with distances and standing all day. Great arch support for me and I usually need orthotic inserts. The leather is soft and supple from the box. Many compliments. I can dress them up or down... Just enough edge to be different and still appropriate for 55+ fun chick! I have had no zipper issues- just point toe up to zip. Have black. Gonna get Cognac. And Love them so much , gonna order the Phillip Harness Short. True to size for me. And Zappos is AWESOME!!

These boots are beautiful! I got them in cognac which was darker than I expected. I added the Frye conditioning balm to them and they got darker, but they still look great. I'm more concerned about protecting them than the color. I normally wear a size 8 in Frye, but due to reviews that they run small I ordered 8 1/2. They felt good the first day, but after day two I wish I had went with the size 8. I'm 5'2" and they are about an inch below my knee. Love Frye!

I used to think I couldn't pull off boots, but happened across a pair of Fryes and now I am hooked! I have the Phillip harness in two colors and wear them all fall and winter. They are extremely comfortable and well-made, both in the quality of the leather and the workmanship. I haven't experienced trouble with the zippers. A trick to pulling them up is to flex your foot up to pull it straight. Yes, Frye boots are expensive, but when I compare them to cheaper boots I know you get what you pay for. Go ahead, you're worth it!

I have tried on hundreds of pairs of boots and these are the ONLY ones that I have tried that are too small in the calf. Unless you calves are super skinny I would not buy these.

I ordered the Black and they fit right on. The leather feels durable and they fit slim calves perfectly. Zappos could only do better if they price matched. I want these in more colors.

Love, love, love these boots. They are the perfect fit and color. The back zip is so cute and they go with any outfit. I would recommend these to anyone. I wear a 7-1/2 and it fits perfect. I have normal calves so I have no problem with the fit.
