I must have received a defective pair, because I bought them based on the reviews and had to return them as the left zipper would get stuck at the bottom and not budge! Very disappointed because they are wonderful boots! Maybe I'll have to re-order and hope I don't get the same pair sent back to me!

The most comfy boots I've ever owned. I have horrible, painful feet from years of dance, broken bones, etc. These boots take no breaking in, and I can wear all day. I like the barnwood color...kind of rustic and goes with everything. Might just have to buy the other colors too! I'm between a 7.5 and 8, and the 7.5 are a perfect fit.

I love these boots. I have now worn these for a few weeks and have walked everywhere (I live in NYC). They initially rubbed a little bit on one of my heels but are now the most comfortable boots I own. The leather looks to be good quality and they fit over my jeans. I have slightly bigger than normal calves (somewhere between designer and extended sizes) and these zip up without sagging around the ankles. I wish they came in dark brown because I would get those as well.

I had the hardest time finding a great everyday pair of boots to wear this winter. I have athletic calves and going into most department stores I was unable to find any boots that fit. These fit perfectly right out of the box! They are extremely comfortable and look very stylish. I cannot express how happy I am with these boots, and the Born brand! Thanks for making knee high boots that real women, not stick figures, can wear!

Love, love, love these boots! Comfortable from the moment you put them on. Cute, a little bit western. Plenty of room to wear over jeans... a little bit of extra room in the calf, but I'm OK with that. I have pretty typical sized legs... 5'9" and 165lbs. Sprayed them with some waterproofing to protect them from Seattle drizzle and no color or finish change.

These are worth every penny. I am on my feet all day (and wore them trick or treating with my daughter afterwards) and was comfy the whole time! The brown color is more like a suede and is not stiff, but they stay up nicely and are beautiful. The color is not a true brown, it is more of a taupe-y color.

I love these boots! After searching high and low for cute black boots that fit my muscular (15 inches calves) but that didn't look like galoshes (thanks Zappos for the free and easy returns!), these finally fit the bill. They're really comfortable and the heel is wide enough that the 20 minute walk to work was no problem, and I've already gotten a ton of compliments. For reference, I am 5'2 and these come to about an inch below my knee.

I never give reviews but couldn't resist giving these boots their credit due. I have large calves and difficulty finding tall boots that are comfortable. Search no more. These boots were amazingly comfortable on the first wear. I even had room for my skinny jeans tucked in. I have to say they are even better than my Fryes! Thank you Born!

Great boots. Very comfortable and good looking. Every time I wear them I get compliments. Zappos gives the best customer service. Do not hesitate to make this purchase if you are looking for a great pair of boots and a great company to do business with.

Love these! They are very comfortable. I've got a wide calf and these fit! I love them! The zipper helps, I have slip-on boots as well and these are just easier to fit around my calf. Highly recommend.

I'm so bummed! I love these boots, but as others have mentioned they are just too big around the top of the shaft. I have tried multiple boots and can't find one with the leather, heel, and degree of comfort of this one. Please ask Born to make this with a shaft that fits more snugly to the calf.

Believe it or not, these boots look even better in person! Not only are they aesthetically appealing, also extremely comfortable-and I am on my feet a lot. I got a half size down, as one reviewer said she needed and they fit perfectly. Get these boots!

Beautiful boot! The leather is so soft inside and out and the footbed is very comfortable. I can wear them with and without sock without anything rubbing against my skin. The top is quite wide, but I like that look. Fits true to size and not tight in the toe box, which is my usual problem.

These boots are miraculous! So comfy, and can easily zip over my muscular calf. I could wear them without socks, they're so well designed. Sweet!

These are awesome boots! The quality of the leather allows them to feel like you've had them forever--they are that soft. Mine arrived at my office and I put them on with bare feet and it's like I am walking around in silk stockings. They are cute and comfy and I know I'll wear them all the time. And I cannot say enough about Zappos’ great service!!

These are great boots! The look, quality and comfort are all outstanding. I have very thick, athletic calves and have a very hard time finding boots that will fit over them. I can try on 10 pairs and not find one that will fit and these zipped up!

These are the perfect all around boots. They are light weight but with just enough rouggedness to work well with short skirts and skinny jeans. The size is a tad large so going down half a size down resulted in the perfect fit for me.

I bought these boots in tan. I'm 5'7, wear an 8 1/2 and they fit true to size. They feel slightly narrower than I expected but the leather will give over time. The quality of leather is very nice...you can just tell by looking at it! For me, it was down to these or the Frye Melissa. I had a hard time getting the Frye's on at the store so I went with these. They look great casual or more dressy with tights and dresses. Definitely a fall staple! Also, Zappos shipped them to me super quick which is always a plus!

I have searched high and low for beautiful boots in black and have found them in the Born Bitsy. An investment worth making!

If you are looking for the perfect fall casual but can be dressed up boot, this is it! I searched far and wide for the perfect pair of riding boots, and this is it! I got the tan leather. It is so soft, not stiff. It bunches just a tiny bit at the ankle, which I would expect for such a soft leather. The color is perfect. The shape is so feminine yet casual, and I love the rounded split in the back. I have average sized calves, and there was probably still a little more room in there for some more calf. I can't wait to wear these around up north. Oh! And the heel? Perfect height. It looks pretty, but it does not feel like a heel.

These are the best boots that I have ever purchased. I have all kinds of foot problems and these boots are by far the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. They provide very cushioned arch support. I do not even notice the heel, as the front part of these shoes provide a bit of a platform. I am 5'5", 130 pounds, and normally wear a 7½-8. I ended up buying the 7 because the leather is very soft and will stretch, although the 7½ was comfortable and would have been a better choice if I were going to use an insert. The shaft provides adequate room for skinny leg jeans, and still has about half an inch of room around the jeans. The leather is very pliable but does not bunch around the ankles. The boots can be dressed up or down and they look far better in person.

These are beautiful boots. They are more grayish than brown. They run big, almost a full size larger.

I love my boots. I had had a hard time finding a comfortable pair and I bought these after a friend of mine had them. They fit true to size and I love that there is tread on the bottom as opposed to a lot of other pairs where I just slipped around. They are very susceptible to getting scratches or nicks in the leather, but being a boot I am alright with that.
