You cannot beat this shoe! Look, style, performance, comfort, and durability. I will never by any other shoe but Salomon again. I have never had any problems with this brand and continue to think it is far superior to the "popular brands" out there. This shoe feels like you are wearing a glove. It is light, but very durable. Survived a good chewing by my German Shepherd's teeth and continues to last for running and any type of working out. Thank you to Salomon for putting out great products!

These shoes are great! I love them. I did 3½ miles on snow pack yesterday with no slipping. My toes were warm in a mid weight wool sock and air temperatures were -2°, wind chill -14°. I love the deeper heel. It feels very stable on rough ground. They are slightly narrower than my regular running shoes, and run a bit long in toes, but still fit great. I love that I can run outside through Minnesota winter. No more cabin fever.

honestly, I'm so in love with these shoes that I cant stand it. Well made look cool and feel amazing right out of the box. I'm trying not to be gluttonous but I want to get a second pair. I'm athletic but terribly out of shape right mow. I have painful feet and terrible arches plus a bunion on my left foot. Finding shoes that feel great is not a common occurrence for me. I had never used Zappos until about three months ago and I feel like I hit the lottery. I'm sure this all sounds fake but I live in Detroit and I assure you that this is real. put it this way, I'm so happy with these shoes and with Zappos that my cc company thought someone had stolen my credit card lol....

Awesome shoes! I am so happy with this purchase. I was looking for a good shoe for trail walking and jogging. I needed something lightweight, water resistant and with a strong tread. I got all three and the bonus of comfort and support. I have narrow heels and often find shoes sloppy but the fit of these was so nice and snug and no sliding around when I am on the trails. I would not suggest these shoes for walking on pavement as they are truly meant to dig in. I had to go down to a 6.5 and I normally wear a size 7 but found the shoes a little long in the toe area.

Used these shoes walking 3 miles a day in North Dakota every day in the winter. No slipping or sliding and they were very comfortable. I'm ordering another similar pair for the coming winter.

I walk 3-4 miles a day and I need a shoe that provides comfort. I have tried many brands but this one really gives the support I need. Of course, I had never heard of Salomon until seeing them on Zappos! I wear 8.5 Wide and I was reluctant to order them since they only came in Medium width but I read a review that stated that they ran large so I tried the 8.5 and they fit very well. The service Zappos offers makes it easy to try any item until you find what works for you. I love Zappos' mission!

These are great shoes for running and hiking on off-road terrain - the tread keeps me from slipping on rocks and mud and I love the laces - they never untie! They do get hot if I wear thick socks, so I only wear them with thin socks.

I saw these on sale at T-9, but waited too long to order and my size was not available. However, I can always count on Zappos. I purchased these for dog walking and agility trials. They are comfortable, supportive and I look forward to wearing them for agility. Love the available colors. Now, about the size: I run anywhere between a 7.5 (Frye boots) to a 9.0 (all my running shoes) based on reviews I ordered an 8.0 and they are a great fit. The 8.5 would have been too big.

Bought these for day hiking - usually 5 - 10 miles on dirt, rock, and meadow. After about 110 miles of hiking in them in the last month in Wyoming and Georgia, I can say they are extremely comfortable - wide enough toe box but very close fitting (in a good way) for the entire shoe. They are NOT heavily padded; in fact, at first, I thought the bottom of the toe area needed more padding but got used to it. My disclaimer - I hate hiking boots and stiff shoes; if you like them, you won't find this a good hiking shoe. I read the other reviews about sizing; I'd say they are true to size, usually wearing a 10 and trying both a 10 and 10.5 in this, and keeping the 10. Lacing system is easy to use, secure, and you can tuck the end into a little pocket. They wash well in the machine (and air dry). Only drawback - not good on wet rocks (think crossing streams) or wet boardwalks. Very slippery. But great on mud, wet trail (hiked in rain and hail), steep meadows, talus and scree (dry), and any other wild area surface. Not really great on pavement - a bit sticky. Just ordered another pair of Salomons for pavement - let's hope they are as great.

I am a shoe junkie, these are by far the best, most comfortable and all around most amazing shoes that I have owned. I bought a pair for hiking and active use they blew me away in comfort and I instantly bought a second pair for work. I am on my feet outside on concrete all day in addition to having a bad back and when I wear these I feel great at the end of the day. I cannot stress how awesome these are. I have about six pairs of Nikes in my closet that will probably never be worn again. I will never buy another brand unless it is for strictly running (I am yet to try the Salomon running shoes but definitely will). I will tell you totally worth the money, order them and try them, you will not send them back. The boyfriend even bought the men's speedcross and equally happy and he also works outside on tough surfaces. Buy these shoes. I have not been happier with athletic shoes. And as always, Zappos, your awesome customer service is well appreciated!

Awesome sneakers, excellent traction. My friend loved them so much he immediately ordered them moments after seeing mine and he also loves them.

I'm a photographer and wearing these during the shoots where I need grip on the terrain I'm standing on, while capturing the missable moments of my clients' playing is invaluable. I really do love these shoes!

I ordered these in an 8.5 based on the reviews. But with my high instep they were too tight because of the stretch mesh over the top of the foot. They probably would have fit good if I had a flatter foot. The 9 allows for more room for the sock so I can wear a thicker sock if I want to. I'm changing out the insert for one that better fits my foot. They look cool and I love the color (green/purple). Can't wait to wear them out on the trail. I also ordered a pair (in men's) for each of my sons and they loved them straight out of the box.

I LOVE these shoes. They are extremely lightweight yet have enough "cush" to walk on pavement as well as great traction for hiking trails. Best of all they run narrow so they are one of the very few shoes that actually fit my skinny feet. I liked them so much that I bought the men's version for my husband who loves them as much as I do!

Love these shoes! I have them in two different colors. They are my favorite. Very comfortable for walking and standing all day.

Very happy with this purchase. I don't like the bulkiness of a typical hiking shoe/boot so I was looking for something with a good tread that will grip the rocks while hiking, but still stable. They are comfortable and I can use my custom insert no problem. I have a slender foot and can adjust the width with ease due to the lacing system. And a bonus they are not as ugly as so many "high tech" foot wear! I highly recommend this shoe.

I got these shoes for the tough mudder a 12 mile obstacle style race...even through mud and wanted my feet stay comfortable the entire time and I didn't slip once! I couldn't have been happier with my purchase and would/definitely will buy another pare in the future once I beat these ones into the ground. (Yes, they still look brand new even after the race just a little hose down and cycle through the washing machine good as new.)

I absolutely love these shoes! After trying just about every brand available, Salomon Speedcross 3 was the only shoe that holds & supports the foot in the perfect natural position.

My sister has them and as soon as I tried them on I needed to buy one for me! They are great for running, walking or pretty much whatever you want to do! I will always recommend them to other people! :)

I wear these shoes for running and working out in the gym. The fit is great, and the cinch tie is awesome! The footbed is soft. The colors are bright, and I get compliments every time I wear them.

I absolutely love these shoes! They do run big! I read the other reviews that said they were true to size and I am normally a 6 -- when they came they were way too big so Zappos sent me a 5 1/2 and they are perfect with a touch of extra room if I want to wear heavier socks. They traction is great -- I was hiking in snow and running as well. Feet stayed dry. I have a narrow foot and a high arch and these fit very well with a lot of support. I'm so glad I ordered from Zappos -- they were so great about shipping the smaller pair out lightening fast. I always check Zappos first to see if they have what I'm looking for. The best customer service hands down!

Great trail shoe out of the box. Exceeds what it promises. Super comfy and flexible. The grip is the best on a trail shoe. Fits super nice with a "sock" feeling. Awesome overall and looks great!

Best sneaks I've ever owned. I have high arches and the support and cool temp yet weather protection of this shoe are superior! I am now a die-hard Saloman fan plus they're cool looking!

I love this shoe. It is instantly comfortable from the moment you take it out of the box. It is very cushiony, yet very stable at the same time. The cleats are very helpful for a natural- born klutz like me. The shoes are water-resistant, if not waterproof. Also, I walk my dog in very muddy or barky environs. Cleaning the soles is just a matter of running some water over the soles -- don't have to use a brush to pull the gunk out of the grooves in typical running shoes. And of course, the no-tie laces are a big plus. These are good-looking shoes -- I find I get as many compliments on them from men as I do from women.. I now have four pairs of this shoe and am hoping for new colors in the coming season.

Super cool. I've always run on XA 3D Pros. These fit appreciably different. The back heel comes up a bit higher -- which is a good thing. They feel "softer" than my Gore-Tex Salomons -- also a good thing. I get crabby when I can feel large gravel and stones. I feel like these treads will fix that. I tested them out on my very snowy/icy driveway and was astounded at the grip compared to my worn XAs. Can't wait to give them a real test.
