Just recently bought a pair of shoes from Zappos. Love them. Got them in no time at all. Shopping on this site is so easy to order from. Love Zappos.

I found this style did not run true to Alegria's usual sizing. I normally wear a 6.5, so I always order a 36 in Alegria. I could hardly even get my foot into the shoe; so thanks to Zappos great return policy, I exchanged them for a size 37, which was not an improvement. It was so loose and wide I felt like I was wearing flip-flops! Too bad because the shoes are really cute.

Love the print, great support but Wow, they really are tight over the top of the foot. After wearing for a week the top of my left foot hurt so much, I could only wear sneakers for the next 2 weeks because other stiffer shoes aggravated the painful spot. Now I will try wearing them maybe once a week and see if I can tolerate the tightness. I work in a hospital, on feet all day so I hope I can wear them, otherwise they have great support and nice wide toebox.

I have a medium-wide, flat foot. Have worn Birkis super clog for years but was hoping for a little different look yet good support. I like the rocker action and I think it gives good support but the rest isn't up to snuff for my liking. I wear a 38 Birki. I ordered a 37 Alegria Debra Professional (as recommended) and my toes just grazed the front of the shoe a bit. I went up a size but they are too big lengthwise -- my heel slips out when I walk. It's been about 6 weeks of wearing them now. The width is definitely not roomy -- it's tricky to get the shoe on without it pulling my sock tight over my toes as I slide it on. They are stiff not supple shoes. One night after an exceptionally long day shift I woke up with leg cramps. The next morning at work I started to put these shoes on and could tell I was going to have leg pain if I wore them that day. I have to alternate these with my old Birkis to prevent leg cramps. Can't wait 'til I can justify spending a few bucks to get a new pair of Birkis.

I love these shoes! The only problem I had was the area by my little toe rubbed and pressed the side of my foot. I wish they made more styles in the wide width. I put shoe stretchers in and problem solved. Great shoe if you're on your feet all day.

I've worn Dansko my entire nursing career (ten years) and got tired of rolling my ankle on the platform heel. I bought these shoes two years ago and still love them. I normally wear a 40, and had to go down a full size to a 39. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've worn to work. I just replaced the insoles for $25, and the leather is still going strong. I think I could get another year or so out of these shoes. I will forever buy Alegria Debra from now on.

Loved this shoe! However, it was a very tight fit across the top of my foot. I thought about keeping it, and hoping it would stretch into a more comfortable shoe eventually, but decided not to take that risk and I had to go ahead and return it.

These are great, took no time to break in. I got them because I'm in nursing school and I have clinicials and I'm not use to being on my feet for long periods of time (always had desk jobs). Wore them the first day of clinicals and my feet didn't hurt at all. I ordered a half a size larger than I normally wear because I was told you don't want them rubbing your heels. Worked Wonderfully! Love love love them!

I bought these based on their reviews for being really supportive if you are on your feet for hours a day. I cater with my husband, have very flat feet and get major heel pain and have extreme lower back issues. This shoe feels at least a 1/2 size too small in length and is very tight on the top of the foot (I am a true 10 normal width). By hour 4 of wearing them my lower back was completely shot. I had to put on my Dansko's (Shannon stapled). These took quite a few times of wearing to get used to the arch support but...they do make a big difference for my back by the end of an 11-12 hour shift.

These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned! I work in an OR and am on my feet for long hours every day. These shoes make my feet and legs feel wonderful every day! My only complaint is that my heels slip when I walk, but the overall comfort outweighs this one fault.

Buttercup looks even better in person! My regular shoe sizes varies from 5.5 to 6.5. Danskos I wear a 37 (with slip heel). Nikes a 6 and Brooks a 7. I ordered a 36 which is just right with room to stretch. Nike, Brooks, and Danskos this pair Alegrias feel by far the best right out of the box for 12 hour shifts.

Incredible shoes. Worth every stinking penny. You won't regret this purchase and the colors were great. Love them! I'm a nurse and am on my feet for 12+ hours and they never hurt my feet.

These shoes were amazingly comfortable. Or would be if they were correct! One of the shoes I received was a little bit defective - tight in the toe box - but other than that they felt amazing on my flat feet. They look pretty good too. I would've kept them if it weren't for that unfortunate defect.

These are my second pair of Alegrias. I have flat feet so a I need superior comfort and these are by far the best shoes I have ever owned. I highly recommend them!

This was my first pair of clog type shoes, first pair of shoes in this brand. I did not like them. I tried to be different and not get Danskos. They squeaked after about six months and made my feet sweat. My calves hurt a lot after working my 12 hour shifts, also. I am bot a fan. I bought the Danskos after I gave up on these and they are truly amazing. No calf pain, no sweaty feet, no squeaks.

I have tried most Alegria styles and find the Debra to be the most comfortable. The enclosed heel holds my pronating foot in place, the instep fits closely without being too tight. I wear a size 11M but my foot is on the narrow side of medium; if it were any larger these shoes would be too tight across the instep. Some styles make my foot look huge but this style is more flattering. I wish Zappos would re-stock because they're out of my size in the colors I want and I'm impatient.

Love these shoes. So comfortable as I am on my feet all day. It's about time someone was considerate of people that need slip resistant shoes! The whole Algeria line is so cute! Thanks!

Bought these with the expectation of a CNA position. That never happened, so they got worn to work at Wal-Mart instead! They're comfortable, but I'm not sure I'd buy another pair. They didn't hold up well to scuffs at all. They look like hell, to be honest. They stretched out significantly from the beginning, to the point where I can wear thick socks with them now. The angled sole gives your calves a rest while walking, but puts the effort into your thighs and hips. The elevated platform sole is cool but I'm not stable on it. I'll probably stay with the brand, I will not purchase this style again though. If your feet are at all wide, get the wide width. The regular was impossibly tight, though in retrospect maybe it would have stretched out to a comfortable point.

I couldn't wait to receive this shoe. When I first put them on I noted they were tighter than my last pair. So I changed out the footboard and placed my old ones in until the leather stretched out. I've had these shoes now since April and I'm sad to say a lot of the finish/design is rubbing off. I'm almost embarrassed to say these are Alegria for fear people will think they are poor quality. My last pair of Alegria shoes I had for 3 years with pretty much no problems.

I read the reviews about this brand of shoe running large, I do not find this to be true, I feel they are true to size. I needed a shoe with great arch support and these have it! They are comfy and I walk in them all day as a nurse. My one and only complaint is that the finish is not holding up as well as I think it should, the color is already rubbing off my toes and I have only worn them for a bit over a month.

I would highly recommend Zappos. Love the shoes and would highly recommend them as well. I am a nurse and on my feet for 12 hours a day. I do not have foot or leg pain when I wear these shoes and they even seem to help my back. I ordered these shoes and received them the next day and the shipping was free!

Love these shoes, this is my 3rd pair of Alegria Debra Professionals. I work in the OR so I'm always on my feet! Most comfortable shoes I've worn during my 35 years in the OR!

These shoes are absolutely amazing, seriously. I bought them after a co-worker recommended them and I am absolutely in love; I've never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. I have a horrible spinal issue and bad knees and ankles but I can work 12 hour shifts up on my feet all day in these shoes and feel 100% comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone especially people with long shifts and that do a lot of walking. The only issue I found was that they do run a bit large. I normally wear a 5.5 or 6 and I had to order a 5 in these but the 5 fits great. They do look a bit wide but fit very comfortable and they form to your feet. They are similar to Dansko's where they slip off your heel a little when you walk but you get used to it and you'll never get blisters. Trust me, these shoes are worth it and your body will thank you.

In a word, awesome. The slight heel will improve your posture, and while it's part of what makes this shoe great, it takes a bit of getting used to not turn your ankle. However, that does not tarnish this review, they are amazing shoes and break in well. Did I mention they even have memory foam?
