I liked them as soon as I received them, they are cute and feel very comfortable, I have not worn them at work yet though. I read the reviews and listened to the statements about them running large so I ordered the 7-7.5(37) since I normally wear an 8. But I believe they run true to size, these are too tight, I will send them back and order my correct size.

Of three Alegria styles purchased, I thought these were the most comfortable. Like, step in and say "ah" comfortable. Ultimately I'm sending them back because I went with the Belle which offered a bit more style for summer, but will keep these on my list for fall or winter. I did order the wide width, after reading other reviews. But I felt these were slightly too wide and there was some slippage when worn barefoot and I will probably order the regular width in the future.

I was worried about purchasing these shoes. They were not cheap but I was willing to pay for comfort and quality. I have very little arch and finding shoes that feel good can be hard at times. I had tried on a pair at the local mall, I really liked the way they felt but but one of shoes did not fit quite right, so I decided I would order from Zappos and try one more pair. I am glad I did. They are true to size and are comfortable. I am a nurse and I am on my feet most of, if not all of my shift 5 days a week and comfort is King. My hospital recently banned the wearing of shoes like Crocs or those without a back and I found the Alegria Debra Professional filled the need and the want very well. I do plan on purchasing several more. I do recommend the purchase of these shoes.

I have seen these shoes on several nurses and looked forward to having a pair. After wearing these one day I should have returned them. I do have a hammer toe and the shoes were too long and really made life quite difficult for that toe for a period of time. The past week my knee really has ached and I wondered if perhaps something was amiss with the shoes. The whole out side edge of the one shoe is broken and the seam is laying wide open. The shoes look great but were a huge disappointment, caused a lot of pain and are not worth half the money I paid for them.

Purchased these shoes for my recent trip to Ireland. They were perfect in all respects...waterproof, warm, comfortable and cute, cute, cute...what's not to love! Received many compliments and I referred everyone to you guys so they could purchase their own pair!

I ordered these in a size 9/9.5. I usually wear a size 9 no problem, unless the toe of the shoe is pointy or short. In this case the toe is short. So, I ordered up a half size to the 10. It was too big at the heel. Too bad... shoe was actually cute and footbed was comfy. Had to return both sizes.

I am a true 9.5 and made the mistake of getting the size 39 (9-9.5). These run smaller than what one would think. I am exchanging these for the size 40 because they are so awesome...awesome enough to extend the funds for two different pair. Unlike Danskos where you have to give them some "wear time" before they are totally comfortable, these are amazing right from the first slip in of your foot. Even though they are pricey, I will always go to these first.

I bought these as an alternative to my Dansko XPs. Even though the Danskos have a bit if padding, my feet get sore if I wear them 2 days in a row. These are working out just fine. The rocker sole isn't as extreme looking as in the pictures. The removable insole is molded like a Birkenstock and will need some breaking in. I suggest wearing them a few hours a day for a week or so. My only advice is in regards to size. In regards to size, I wear a 40 in all of my European footwear as it usually equates to a size 9. Alegria says their 40 is equal to a 10. I ordered both sizes and stayed with my 40- but it sure isn't a size 10! If you have a high instep, you might opt for the wider width. All in all, great shoe for work and casual wear.

These shoes have a weird insole shape. The bump of the arch support goes all the way across, rather than tapering from high at the inside of the foot to low at the outside. I may keep them if I can find some other insoles that fit them, but otherwise they will be going back. I can feel the stress on the bone at the outside of my foot when I step down.

Great shoes, very functional. I bought them to heal a metatarsal stress fracture and they did their job perfectly. It didn't even feel like I was putting pressure on my foot when I walked. My doc said I could wear these every day for 4-6 weeks or he'd put me in a walking boot. I am so glad I went with these. They are way more comfortable. Now these are not that fashionable, but they look better in person than online. If I had a job where I had to stand up or walk the whole day, I would not hesitate to buy these.

These are great shoes, but please don't order a size down because the top part of the shoe fits very snug. If you have wide or chubby feet, please select wide width instead or regular. Other than that the shoe is very stylish and comfy. I work in a hospital and they are perfect!

I love these shoes! I wore them immediately after receiving them, because I was in dire need of relief and comfort. I suffer from Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction, which I'd for two years. It's a debilitating condition with no cure. It only gets worse if you cannot control it. I have seen two podiatrists who have tried to help me control it, but with the type of work I do (Floor supervisor) every few months I find myself out on disability. I tried pre-fab and custom orthotics. I even have richie braces. they all worked to a degree, but I would still be in pain, uncomfortable and would still be out of work. I have been told that New Balance sneakers along with these devices should help and they somewhat did. However I would still have bouts with my condition. My Dr. told me to look into purchasing a more supportive New Balance (ugly and manly) or try orthopedic shoes. I thought this can only be horrible. I googled it and the first site had okay looking shoes and selection of something I could wear if I had to, but I love stylish shoes and have a reputation for my unique styles and selection. Well this shoe did not let me down. after working a long 12 hour day, I received and tried more shoes on. I felt instant relief and comfort although one foot was swollen. i had to be to work in a few more hours and knew I was going to wear and break in my new shoes. Well that morning I out them on and the instant comfort returned. I sized down after reading reviews from other customers, but nothing prepared me for what I got. The insole that came with the shoes provided enough support and improved my gait all day. I was so happy. And my co-workers noticed a difference in my walk and fell in love with my shoes. I ordered three pair and am ordering another. I believe these shoes saved my life and my feet because the last convo I had with my Dr. was consider surgery and that I was going to have to do the work and find the shoe that works for me and I found it right online, with little to not much looking or shopping. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone with feet/ foot problems. I finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you Algeria!

Amazing. I have been looking at these for a year or more and finally bought them for Christmas. These wipe off quickly, amazing support, comfortable. Huge selection of patterns. What more could you want? I've already bought another pair! If you're not sure about these, order a pair and try them on. I knew immediately my nursing shoe search was OVER.

This style of shoe does not fit my arch. Other wise have enjoyed Alegria products. I am on my feet all day and my hips nor back hurt at end of day.

Love, love this shoe. The only thing I get a wide show & it is a little loose I the heel. It does not feel like a new show. If God sees fit I want another pair.

These are such comfortable nursing shoes. Not the most stylish pair out there, but I don't care because I feel like I'm walking on clouds.

I work for the government and am on my feet the whole 8 hrs other than breaks I bought these when I seen a manager wearing a pair and asked how she liked them although she had a different style of which I can't wear in uniform. I normally wear a 7.5 wide so I purchased a 37 wide. Tried them on when I got them they didn't fit my feet the same they were too big but one was too narrow and slightly too long while the other was just excessively too big that when i walked they slid off my feet.

Started out a lot better than they've ended up. Break-in wasn't too bad, took a couple days and they stretched out a lot. But now, 2 months after purchase, my feet hurt again. I'm a salesperson at Wal-Mart, not a nurse, so it's baffling. Additionally, this finish scuffs really, really easily. Maybe because I'm heavy, but these are no better than Nikes for me.

Sorry to say have to send these shoes back. They were pretty. Liked the tooled leather. Think they would be comfortable, just too short. I got wide. They were wide enough just not long enough.

I bought these for my mother-in-law who has the hardest time finding comfortable shoes! She loves them. While she hasn't gone anywhere in them, she has worn them around the house every day since I gave them to her. She is very happy with the shoes...and just loves the butterfly on the heel!

I have good luck with Alegria. Once I figured out my size, it works with any of their styles. These shoes are all day comfortable and hold up well. They also do not require breaking in - although I try to give them some short runs before a full day of wearing, just to be sure. They provide good arch support.

I bought the Debra Professional after the female technician who performed my EEG raved about hers. I don't stand all day like some people who wrote reviews. But,I do experience knee and hip pain. I normally put on sneakers when I walk for exercise during my break at work. I was surprised by how comfortable these shoes are when I forgot to make the change before my walk recently. I bought a pair for my mother for Christmas because she was so taken by them when I visited her at Thanksgiving.

These are the most amazing shoes I have ever owned! I have arthritis in my feet and broke my right foot a couple of years ago. I work on my feet in the restaurant business and for many years I have experienced pain and swelling in my feet after I get off work. After sitting down for even a short period I would have so much pain it made me limp. Thanks to these shoes by Alegria I don't have that pain anymore! I was worried about breaking them in but I didn't have to. They helped my foot pain immediately. I will definitely be buying another pair...or two!

I had tried a classic Alegria shoe in the store and thought it was true to size. Tried my very first online purchase of any type of shoe and was disappointed that I could barely get the Debra Professional on my foot. I like the style enough that I will return this shoe and order again in a size up.

These shoes are adorable. I have 10 pair of Alegrias, but this was my first pair of Debras. Sadly, I had to return them because the right shoe felt too tight at the mid-foot.
