I am am a nurse and am on my feet a minimum of 12 hours a day. I have tried tennis shoes, Danskos, etc. but I keep going back to Alegria. They are by far the most comfortable shoes for me. Tried and true, I will not stray again.

When first putting them on, I was a little worried, The arch was hitting me in the wrong place. I wore them a couple of times, at home, for an hour or two each, now they are great. I am on my feet at work12 hours a day. So far, I am now a huge advocate of these shoes. Now I get to see how long they last.

I purchased them for my sister. One of the best birthday gifts I gave her. She loved them, took them out of the box and keep them on all night while we were celebrating her birthday! They are comfortable and easy to wear!

I wear a 7 1/2 normally but 38s were too big,shoes are light,and fit great I am flat-footed and they don't hurt my feet. I have worn Danskos for years but I am on my feet all day, so far my feet feel fine after 12 hours of standing and walking.

For the first time in years I am pain free after wearing the Debra Pro shoes for 8-9 hour shifts, for 2 solid days. I am in heaven! Also love the Flight butterfly pattern. The only difficulty now is deciding which other style I am going to order. Too many choices! Ordered 41 as that is what I wear in Mephisto, but had to exchange them for the 40. Yes, the heel slips a little, but I got used to it. I may go with a Mary Jane style for that reason.

I purchased the Keli Professional in this brand and love it. Zappos, please get more of this shoe. The Debra Professional really slips off the heel. I cannot wear it.

These are my new favorites. I used to only wear Danskos, but my coworkers recommended these. I found the insole to be super soft and comfortable and they required no break in time. I recommend them for anyone on their feet all day.

I've ordered and returned a lot of shoes looking for arch support and cushion in a work shoe. This is the most comfortable and supported shoe, with good up-cut in front so arthritic toes don't bend so much. I highly recommend them for comfort, just not my style.

Very pretty and comfy shoe. Love the brand. If you need great support while you work all day these are the shoes you want!

I received my shoes yesterday and am returning them today. The shoes look very nice but when I took the insole out and placed my orthotics it made the shoe too big. If I tried placing my special insole on top of the already existing insole, (which is not advised), it made the shoe too small. I really wanted to make them work and thought from the reviews that they would be perfect for me to be on my feet for 12-13 hours a day at the hospital. I am very disappointed.

I love Alegrias. They are so personable... get the colors you love - there are so many. These Debra Prof. are so comfortable. I love the rocker type toe because it helps you walk almost effortless. I can were them all day without any fatigue. The wide styled toe box is a comfort blessing in disguise. These shoes are NOT "frumpy orthopedics" They are quite stylish and hip. The Mary Jane styles are just as great. I love the thick soles.

I love these shoes! Was wearing Dansko's, but due to a twisted ankle injury, they started to hurt my feet. Walked in the Alegria's one day and can already tell they'll be my go-to shoes. Can't wait to get more colors. And the Zappos customer service team provided probably the best service I have ever received. I wish other stores would take customer service lessons from Zappos, they could learn a few things.

I read the other reviews and from my experience with normal width of this brand that I've tried on in the past, I decided to order a wide. I am very happy with the fit and how beautiful the shoe looks.

I love this shoe. The toes are just a smidge too short tho and if I go to a longer size the arch will not work as well as it does. So I am going to exchange them for a clog of the same style and features so my toes do not rub. Really great design tho.

I originally bought a size seven, which for in the heel perfectly, but was not tall enough for my toes. This shoe is wide around the toes,but pinches down on them height-wise. Even in the wrong size the arch support was awesome though, so I sized up. As expected the 8 is loose on my heel,but foods the rest of my foot well, so with a small insert these are perfect. Now I can stand around at the counter all day without my back and feet aching horribly.

They are comfortable. Might want to get one half size up if you wear socks. They are flatter at the tip than I expected. The top of my big toes have blisters from wearing them twice.

I wear an 11W. These shoes are way too big. Much heel comes out every time I walk - like flip-flops. I am going to return for either a 10W or 10½W.

I love my Alegria shoes and sandals I have had two pair of sandals, one Debra and two classic. They are comfortable and easy to wear. However, after wearing about a year and 1/2 the soles start to wear and the shoes became very slippery when worn on the grass. After two seasons of wear the sandals broke. I will not be purchasing them again because of this. The sole issue is very dangerous.

This is the first time that I used Zappos and I will definitely use them again, I needed to return a pair for a different size and my experience was everything I expected. I am very happy!

I love these shoes! They are really comfortable, fit true to size and I swear they help me walk faster. I am on my feet over eight hours and my feet and legs never hurt. My only little complaint is they squeak so it is hard to quietly enter a patient's room.

I had purchased so many different name brand tennis shoes and continued having achy feet, sore knees, back and even hips. I am a nurse's aide and on my feet some days for 12 hours. Well, I purchased the Debra Prof. And I have not ever had a more comfortable pair of shoes. They provide great support and I no longer suffer all the aches that I once had. If you have knee pain these are the shoes for you. I got the buttercup pattern and everyday I get compliments on how nice my shoes are.

I was looking for good arch support for twelve hour shifts. These are good so far. They were tight across top of foot for first few shifts, but great now.

Good arch support. Was tight on the top of my foot initially, but by the third 12 hr shift, all good. I like that this shoe covers the whole top of my foot when I'm dealing with bodily fluids

I have had problems finding shoes for years. I thought I would be in tennis shoes for the rest of my life. These are amazing. The arch support is beyond expectations! I have plantar fasciitis and these are going to help with that also. Try these. Especially if you are on your feet a lot.

Received these amazing shoes today and it saddens me that they are a bit too big and flop off of my heels. I ordered the same size as my open backed "Classic" shoes. Of course the size smaller is unavailable, no where to be found. What to do...As a nurse, I'm a loyal Alegria wearer and desperately want this shoe!
