I absolutely love this shoe. I always have trouble getting shoes to fit well. If it's comfortable on one foot, then something about it hurts on the other. However, I think those elastic inserts made a world of difference. As soon as I put these on, I could have worn them all day. As others have mentioned, I have a narrow heel, and my heels slipped in these shoes. If I was walking at a fast pace a lot, this would be an issue to resolve with heel pads. For me, and being winter, I simply put on thicker cotton knee socks, and voila! I have these in black leather. I have a Mary Jane Alegria style in the embossed leather and prefer the softer black leather I chose this time. Anyway, it's so rare I find a shoe with good arch support that's stylish and fits well. I wear these most of the time on a daily basis.

The design has completely worn off these shoes. The black color is gone on the toes. It doesn’t seem to be made of real leather. Seems to be something like small reptile scales that are flaking off. The trouble is that they are really comfortable and are not nearly worn out on the soles or rest of shoes, just the fake leather part. I wonder if they could be recovered with leather or something?

I normally wear a 6.5 and ordered a 36. They were fine without socks, but they felt a little too snug with socks around the toe area. I’m sure if I exchanged them for a size up, they would’ve been fine. I also have high arches but these seem to only give a moderate arch support. I went back and exchanged them for my regular Danskos. Those offer much more arch support.

I decided on these shoes for nursing and after wearing them once a week for 10 weeks, they still have not "broken in". I wish I could return them. The toe bed is not very tall and my feet kill me after I wear them for 8 hours.

This review is for the Sugar Skull Alegria Debra shoes. I love Alegria shoes and they last forever except for the support which last longer than most other brands. I wore the Sugar Skull shoes to work office job 8 hours and to my niece's memorial and they look terrible the paint just came off see pictures. I bought my sister the cat ones when her cat passed away and I wonder why she never wore them. I know now she was just too polite to tell me so I asked her after my experience with the skulls she said she wore them for a week which is 5 more days than I got. I'm 62 years old I don't drag my toes when walking.

Alegria are comfortable shoes and with them using genuine leather, it's easy to break their shoes in because as we all know, leather stretches. These felt so narrow. I ended up giving them away. They were cute but so uncomfortable to my feet.

Absolutely one of the cutest with a ton of comfort and support. These will brighten up people's days and put a smile on many faces.

I have to be careful about my shoes since I have mid foot arthritis, and Alegria shoes with the slight rocker bottom and good arch support are great for me. I got these in the fun sugar skulls pattern, and they are very cute. Recommend.

The shoe was comfortable but too small considering the size chart showed this as an 8-8.5. I wear an 8 and this was too small! Disappointed that it was for comfort and can't wear them. Possibly if they stretch out but didn't have time to wait.

I have size 11.5 feet I believe and narrow. I bought the regular med size width and size 42, seemed right as I wear thicker socks for comfort. I had an issue with the knuckles on my toes rubbing and causing real pain. It's probably just my long toes curling up to grip shoe so as not to move forward? I mistakenly ordered 2 pairs and am having the 2nd pair stretched on top so it doesn't lay so flat on toes. I like this brand, the comfortable insole is worth it so I'll keep buying to find the perfect pair.

I might have ordered too small a size. I'm a 6.5/7 W, and these were 36. They felt pretty good, but a touch tight, especially in the toe box. I actually was pretty close to picking these as my new nursing shoes, but I've narrowed it down to a pair of Sanitas clog style and the Vionic sneaker. I have high arches and wide feet. I tried Danskos too, but I think because of my high arches the top of my foot hurt as it rubbed against the shoe. These don't do that, they just felt a little tight in the toe box.

I'm a RN on a BUSY unit. I track my steps and each shift is between 7,000-10,000 steps. My feet are achy but in an acceptable way. No throbbing, no need to take pain meds after my shift. Before this I wore nikes (training style) and my poor feet and back were in pain. I don't usually get wide shoes, but I did for this. I didn't want any rubbing of my toes. My usual size is a 9 and I ordered the 9-9.5 wide. They fit well but I had to stretch out the right shoe because it slightly bothered the top of my foot arch (not as bad as the Danskos did-- those made my toes numb). Overall, I'm 90% pleased with these shoes and unless I find something better that is also stylish I'll keep buying this brand.

I've worn these shoes for 5 months and they are already falling apart from the inside out. For the price, they are low quality and not worth it. I used to wear Timberland Renova Pro's and they lasted at least a year on the job but were discontinued. I've been searching for a shoe as comfortable and durable, but alas, these were not it. They are comfortable out of the box if you have buckets of money to spend on shoes that don't last very long.

I loved the way these shoes looked! I wanted to keep them but there was a squeaky sound when I walked and they were not as comfortable as other Algeria shoes. I was very disappointed.

Always have no problem ordering my size 9.5 this shoes is small need half size larger..

I wanted to love these Allegria shoes. Unfortunately, the heel was too big for the narrow heel on my otherwise wide foot. Just found out my feet are now 10 wides, excluding me from thousands of shoes that don't come in wide. I am trying to find shoes with more arch support and heel cushioning (I have a bone spur on my right foot, plus a flattening arch and possible plantar fasciitis), and I will keep searching.

OUCH....leather stiff...crowded little toes.

I love these shoes for work! Ive bought 2 pairs. The only thing that bothers me is that after awhile they start to get really squeaky. But even then I'd still buy them again.

Pretty comfortable shoe. They did slip on my narrow heals a bit so I returned these and ended up with the original slip resistant slip on Alegria clog and love them. Returned this shoe.

I needed a size 12. Would have liked to try that. As it is, this shoe is way too inflexible and feels hard and stiff. I really wish it had worked. I have ball of foot pain and hammer toes. Bad news.
