I'm a Veterinary Technician, so I'm always on my feet. I'm always on the lookout for comfortable shoes, but until now have been disappointed. These shoes rock. They are comfortable, I can wear them all day and my feet and especially my back are pain-free. I just ordered a back-up pair.

They run very small. Several places described these as "roomy toe box". I've found them to be narrow and short in length. Even the Alegria site had a larger fit description for these shoes. I tried to find a local store with this model of Alegria and was not able to find one. I cannot rate further until I actually get to wear them after I return.

Very comfortable shoe, however, went by feedback of running big. They ran small for me...exchanging for bigger size. Love these!

I absolutely love these! I just got these, and am wearing them around the house (that is no little feat as I am continually chasing a two and a six year old!) and, they fit and feel like I have had them forever! I tried the closed heel style from Alegria and did not care for them. They felt too snug with regular socks and too loose with thin socks. After much thought, I was afraid that I would not like them. I ordered the Klogs Dusty as I had a pair of Klogs ages ago. Those fit terribly, it felt like I was walking on no support, and looked extremely cheap. Then, these came in the mail and voilà! They feel great. I wear a 9½, ordered a 40, which fit wonderfully. They are a great style and not too high like some of the other high end clogs. I look forward to wearing them in the ER for their true test!

These are great shoes. I found them to run a little small. I wear a 38 in Danskos and got a 39 in Alegria, which fit great.

I love these shoes. I'm a Dental Hygienist and wear them with my colored scrubs. My feet were not hot or tired at the end of long, busy days. I've got a bunion that is an issue in many shoes, but not these.

These are awesome shoes, but do not have the arch support someone with plantar fasciitis would need. The footbed is too flat and does not support the arch enough. Cute shoes though!

Alegria mules seem slightly different from styles that appear the same ; however, I found that slickery was just high enough to dig into the outside of my ankle. The feel on the footbed seems to be quite comfortable though. Have to return them. I appreciate the outstanding service from Zappos and will remain a loyal customer, recommending Zappos to others.

I like the color of the shoes and the style, but wore them around the house for about hour but they still manage to hurt my arch on the right foot.

This is my first time trying Alegria brand. I wear a size 5 or 51/2 and ordered this shoes size 35. Like the reviews said the shoes is narrow but the toe area has enough space. They feel comfortable with good support but returning it because it is too tight to wear with socks.

I have troubled feet due to arthritis in my big toes. Thanks to Zappos, I am able to order and return enough shoes that eventually I find shoes that don’t hurt. I got a job that required slip-resistant soles, and this was the 5th pair that I tried before I found one that was very comfortable. I couldn’t order them from Zappos this time because Zappos doesn’t carry the wide width in this model (note to Zappos: I love your site but would buy even more if you carried more Alegria wides!!) This shoe is extremely comfortable. I also own several pairs of the Alegria Paloma model (but can’t wear them on this job due to handling hot beverages) and, while they are both very comfortable, their fit is quite different. The Seville professional is significantly narrower and probably a half size shorter than the way the Palomas fit. I can only wear a thin sock with the Seville, even in the wide width (and my feet aren’t wide if it weren’t for the bone spurs on my big toes). The Sevilles are so comfortable, though, that I wore them straight out of the box , on my feet for 4 hours without issues until I started to get a little blister on one little toe. I think these are going to be great slip-resistant shoes for work once I get past the little toe blister.

Bought this pair to wear at home instead of going barefoot with plantar fasciitis on my non-carpeted floors. Felt a little stiff at first but gradually softened up. Seems to be working well so far!

While I'm still wearing these around the house, I like how they feel so far. FYI: to those of you who have arthritis in a big toe joint, I hope this review helps! After ordering (and returning)several Danskos, KLogs, Aravon, Arcopedico and other Alegria styles, I FINALLY realized I needed a soft toe box AND one that came PAST the painful joint! I have the Alegria Pesca and it's pretty good in that regard but still hits the joint slightly (hoping it will stretch more with time). The Alegria Seville Professional doesn't seem to do that; the toe box is wide and the leather seems softer, as well as good cushioning and support inside. I've ditched all my cute and uncomfortable shoes for only ones with support....Alegria (so far) and Vionic/Orthaheel sandals and flips flops. Even my Vionic slippers have arch support and it seems to help with the toe pain. The Klogs and Danskos felt more stiff and the toe boxes were really uncomfortable and hit my joint. My foot measures between a 10.5 and 11 but the 11 M in these feels just right with socks. It's nice to have the strap but not sure if I'll use it as the shoe doesn't slip. I'd love to get the Spiro multi but Zappos doesn't have in 11. Alegria may not be manufacturing all colors/sizes in this from what I saw in a new catalog.I have my own orthotics but I think the Alegria insoles that came in the shoe will be fine. Will miss my more fun shoes but they aren't worth experiencing so much pain....! I hope my "trial and error" experience with ordering shoes (from Zappos) will help someone in the same shoes (no pun intended)! As always, Zappos has such excellent customer service that even returning so many pairs is easy. Thanks Zappos!

I wanted to love this shoe, but I returned it. I am an OR nurse and do a lot of standing/walking for 10 hour shifts, but I've recently developed some foot pain that has me searching for the perfect shoe. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 medium width so I ordered a 39. This may have worked, but I wasn't willing to chance it. The shoe is a little short and I don't want to end up having my toes hit the tip of the shoe over time. I could not exchange it for a 40 because there were none! I thought the spiral print on the leather was cute. There was a decent amount of room in the toe box. I've been known to cut slits in the toe box of sneakers to give my baby toes room but I don't think I would have that issue with the alegria seville's. I much preferred the cushioning of the alegria's compared to dansko. I doubt I will ever wear danskos again. It does have moderate arch support, but I like an overall softer, more cushioning sole so I was wary of that too. It's back to sneakers for me with a slit for my baby toe. On the customer service side, Zappos is excellent with returns. I happened to use a coupon code for this and they were happy to give me another coupon code to apply to a future order. I did need to call customer service for this.

About my feet: I wear a 9-9.5 (40-41) shoe and sometimes a 10 (42) in boots for thick socks. I like room for my toes, have a medium-wide foot with a slightly narrow heel, have a high instep, moderate-high arch, tend to under-pronate (step down on outside edge of feet) and have hallux limitus (intense pain in the joint behind big toe). Alegria "Seville" size "EU 39 / US 9-9.5" color "Spiro Multi" pros: cute pattern and color (printed, no texture); thick,removeable footbed would leave room for different orthotic; strap on back worked well (though not enough room on strap to let it out a notch if needed); good rocker sole (no big toe pain!); comes with cute Alegria clog keychain fob cons: small/weird sizing--more like a 39 and less like a 9-9.5...length JUST accomodated my foot in a stocking/no room for a thin sock; not enough arch support Not enough arch support 'out of the box', but love rocker sole and pattern and strap (way more comfy than a Dansko clog). Returning and *might* reorder in larger size.

I have to decide if I'll keep them yet. They are tremendously comfortable right from the get go when wearing & walking except for on top of my left foot by the base of my little toe. I have feet problems with wide feet & these shoes( while length is fine) is rather snug from top to bottom of foot ( at ball of foot & at arch are of foot). So I ordered some wide inserts to see if this helps as someone else stayed it did for her.

Toe box is tight otherwise I love them! My feet feel better after 2 days! I am on my feet 12 hours on concrete floors.

I love these shoes. My only complaint is they run a bit short. I wear a size 9 but a size 9 1/2 would fit better.

I really wanted to like this shoe. What I should have done is be more patient and worn it in the house longer before going outside with it so that I could have returned it. These shoes feel wonderful to walk in and great on the soles of my feet. However, they pinch the little toe of my right foot if I wear socks with them. I think I should probably have ordered a size 10. However, I love the color and I plan to wear them this summer with capris.

Ordered my usual size 9-9.5 or size 39. Disappointed because they were just a tad too short. Donna of the Professional Collection, in size 39 was perfect!

This is my fifth pair of Alegria shoes. They are the only brand of shoes that give me some relief from the plantar fascitis I have suffered with for over a year. This style has the same support I need and is great for casual wear.

Thia is an extremely comfortable shoe!My only complaint is the bottom of the soles that you walk on need to be a little bit wider!! The way the sole is now can make for unsteady balance,especially on uneven walking surface.That is the only reason i can't give this shoe 5 stars.

I wanted these shoes to work so badly but they are just too narrow for my foot. Definitely order up a size.

I'm a nurse working in the OR. I've purchase these same shoes before in a 41 and they were a little long, but felt great. My podiatrist suggested I try a wide shoe. So, knowing my previous pair were a little long, I figured I could wear the wide in a 40. They arrived quickly the very next day. However, this shoe is way, way narrower than the regular 41 I already have and actually feels more like a 39. Will have to send these back and I guess, get another 41 but probably not in the wide!
